According to matthew 12:40; For as Jonah was 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the fish, so the son of man will be 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of heart.

I didn't see it happening exactly this way when I read the four gospels of christ in the bible, which are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Now, I am confused.
Here are the points i got.

The sabbath day could be Saturday or Sunday, depending on how you see it. But I take it to be Saturday hence the first day of the week is Sunday.
Mark 16:9 says "When Jesus rose up EARLY on the first day of the week he appeared first to mary magdalene...
Matthew 28:1; After the sabbath at DAWN on the first day of the week, mary magdalene...
John 20:1; EARLY on the first day of the week, while it was still DARK...
These mean that Jesus resurrected very early on Sunday morning, hence he did not stay up to two days but stayed two nights in the tomb.

Some people would say that he died on Thursday, Friday which is the next day cannot be called Sabbath.
If we argued that some books, chapters and verses in the bible say " ON THE THIRD DAY HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD" For example, Luke 24:6-7.
To me, "On the third day" and "Three days and three nights" are two different statements. I don't know what they mean to you.

Please guys let's discuss this.

Exactly what i meant. But not each courses exactly. It will depend on the departments that record high rate of success. The cut-off will be high.E.g Law last year.(Though uniben doesn't release their cut-off). But one would notice that a certain aggregate that would have given one his/her desired course wouldn't give the person. Why? Because of high success rate. Many scored higher than him/her as in many students crossed the cut-off. So to be on a safe side one has to thrive to be the "Primus inter-pares" meaning; "First among equals". Work hard. Pray well. If the rate of failure is high the case would be otherwise. But one shouldn't score below 50% aggregate.

If you look at it from the other perspective. If many a student passed very well, it would still not be okay. Many students would be given another courses which they didn't apply for even if they had done very well with good aggregrates.

Not really, Last two years, students wrote uniben post utme during ASUU strike, if not many staylites would have been in school. That is school would have been in session. Then, last year students wrote during school session.(Examination period) some of the staylites had finished their examinations, while some had not. So, it depends on the circumstances on ground as at that moment. Yours might be immediately after the first semester examinations or first or second week after resumption. I just know you guys will write your post utme May or June, looking at the school's academic calendar.

It is possible though, there have been successful transfers, I do not know how pure the system is, whether it is by connections or your good grades...You can give it a shot, just get a good GPA in your first year, apply for inter faculty transfer and you might just be selected...

I believe inter-faculty transfers is officialy possible. It only requires a certain level of G.P. To attain it.

Hmmm!!! My dear, It's almost impossible for a student to transfer to medicine in uniben. I wrote "Almost impossible" because one might get the transfer through strong connection(very strong connection-my opinion) not just with the high CGPA that is needed.
