Ok, can you tell us where the security threat is coming from?

We are not toddlers in Nigeria politics, I know where the postponement is coming from ,so forget about the statement ascribed to the Clark of the House..

BVAS is not mandatory. That is what the Supreme Court just ruled. And the Supreme Court will never ever reverse itself. This EMilokan Tinubu is the god of politics. Imagine going to meet judges to rule against your party in a Governorship petition because you have a bigger petition and this judgment will set a precedent.
Aren't you supposed to be ashamed of your Messiah Tinubu rather than praising him?

According to you, he met the Judges and strike a deal with them to subvert justice, is that not criminal offense by law??

PoliticsRe: Sense Of Entitlement Syndrome In Nigeria Too Much – Ngige by Forumobserver12(m): 8:30pm On May 01, 2023
Saga16:
When would you be satisfied?

Could you ever be satisfied?

I don't blame most Nigerians who cannot think for themselves.

Very soon, you would have money but no doctors.

That's when you would understand it isn't everything you oppose.
A good leader is expected to lead by example, we have terrible leaders masquerading as politicians, they have not shown any amount of patriotism Nigeria.

What will it cost them to equip public hospitals and also take care of the welfare of the practitioners if indeed they are sincere?

We have seen a pattern where elected officials tripping abroad In search of medical care while our own Doctors are being neglected back home..

Our politicians should be held responsible for the Brain drain because they are the architect of what's happening today in our health sector today..
PoliticsRe: Sense Of Entitlement Syndrome In Nigeria Too Much – Ngige by Forumobserver12(m): 8:07pm On May 01, 2023
N3TRAL:
If you have passed through a public university in Nigeria and then you think Dr. Ngige isn't making sense , then you should forfeit your degree.

Education in Nigeria is heavily subsidized. Nigeria cannot train you almost free of charge and then you run away to a foreign country when Nigeria lacks sufficient manpower in your field of endeavor. The practice is worse than being unpatriotic. It is wickedness.

Medical doctors spend less than a million naira in tuition in Federal universities to complete their program. In fact, during the NYSC program, most medical students make back the money they spent on their tuition.

Many medical doctors in the foreign countries you wickedly dump Nigeria for spend the first two years of their career paying back student loans. Their salary is high because of the high cost of living in their country which is why they pay an average of 100,000 USD for medical education ( tuition+ others fees).

The government doesn't intend to stop you from migrating. No, they'll be stupid to do that because it's against the tenets of FHRs .
The FG is simply telling you, if Nigeria is the worst country on Earth, go to Canada, US or UK and spend 50,000 USD to acquire medical training and then work for them. If you want to benefit from our subsidy then you must compulsorily serve us for a few couple of years.

However, the policy of the FG is not good for the long run because medical consultants, experts and specialists will greatly reduce in Nigerian hospitals as there's no embargo placed against them.

What's the need of having many medical doctors who are not really proficient?

The best practice remains improving the welfare of Medical practitioners and enlightening them of their Hippocratic oath to serve their black brothers and sisters.

God Bless Dr Ngige. He's a patriotic Nigerian!
Dr.Chris Ngige is an Hypocrite, he admitted benefiting from government scholarships as a student, why did he left his professional career to join politics? He did so simply because politics is more lucrative than practicing medicine in Nigeria..

Dr Chris Ngige is not different from those he accused of being unpatriotic...

He has been in politics for over 20yrs, so how many years of Medical service did he render to fatherland Nigeria?

I have been involved in an inter-tribal relationship so there's no way anyone can say I am a tribal bigot.

LiteratureRe: Chimamanda Adichie's Arise News Interview (Full Video) by Forumobserver12(m): 5:34pm On Apr 12, 2023
Okealaaye:
This girl should not involve herself in the age-long and groundless Igbo-Yoruba feud. Groundless? Why? The Igbo have always been a most welcomed people in Yorubaland and we've always lived together in peace. This is because the things that unite us are much more uncountable than the "thing" that divides us. Everywhere, all reasonable people know that the quest for power, aka politics, is the Great Divider of peoples and their communities. The Igbo are one of the Nigerian ethnicities that share a lot with us the Yoruba. Nigeria should derive mechanisms of intergroup relations to manage our diversities like some other countries, instead of emphasising our fault lines and divisions during every election cycle. The youths of Nigeria should come together, not to join the ancients in their needless rat race in which the gladiators don't remember them after the battle is won, but to fashion out the means by which their mutual futures can be guaranteed if indeed, the future belongs to them. The present squabbles do not concern them, as it were, because if we give it the right thought we would know that the youths are mere cannon fodders. So Chimamanda must not allow anyone to drag her into a needless war with a person with whom she shares so much in common than any other person in the world, except perhaps her parents and siblings. So if I were Chimamanda I would not react to Soyinka's words, but then she isn't me!
You made some valid points, however, I don't think you watched the interview, if you do you will understand that her opinion or support for Peter Obi has nothing to do with tribe.

Don't forget that Obi is not the first person from the South East that contested a presidential election before, as a matter of fact I know some Yuruba people who are diehard Obidient does that equally make them tribalist? As far as I'm concern there's no war between the Igbos and Yurubas and there won't be any, those actively playing ethnic Cards are doing so for their selfish gains not even because they love their own kinsmen.

Those whose campaign on the premise of it's our turn to rule Nigeria, I hope they will remember those common men and women whom they succeeded in selling the ethnic card to, I hope they will remember them during their Government and not just during election time?
SportsRe: Which Of These Four Matches Can Stop Arsenal Premier League Title Victory? by Forumobserver12(m): 1:49pm On Apr 07, 2023
SPAMBOX7:
Exactly. If anything make dem lose against city again then they don't deserve the trophy. Even if they later win the league sef would still look like they don't deserve it. You can't be an EPL champion without beating at least one big team. Losing to city thrice will be disgraceful and won't be anything peculiar to a champion
So beating one big team simply means beating Man City only? Arsenal have defeated Spurs, Liverpool,Man U and Chelsea this season already, so what exactly do you by that phrase?

Secondly, I want to remind shallow minded fellows like you that the legislative arm of government is constitutionally an independent arm of government just like the executive arm, therefore, whoever presides of the legislative arm should not be determine by the presidency, unfortunately you guys have reduced legislative arm to become an appendage of the executive arm...Shame on you guys for destroying democracy in Nigeria..
