These are modules in Human Resource Management (HRM), so you may just have to go for HRM PatrickOkunima: Good evening @ Lekiboboe:
I have searched on Google without any success.
Please, do you know any college in Ontario that offers a PG cert or diploma program in Labour Relations and Employment Law?
Thanks in anticipation. |

Nice one. Please let’s connect. I’m in your DM. Thank you MaameU: Based on my personal experience, it won't affect your application as long as you do the right things to convince the visa officer. Your LOE will be your main tool in convincing the visa officer. Let me share my experience (or rather my husband's). This year, my husband wanted to go for a graduate certificate programme and was worried that because he already had a Masters and his job as well as education was unrelated to his chosen certificate programme, he will not be able to show career progression which will result in a visa refusal. He is a chartered accountant with masters in finance and decided to go for a graduate certificate in data analytics (This was his heart desire. He didn't want to do any other programme). I did extensive research on his behalf here on nairaland and wrote his LOE for him (all LOE guidance can be found here as well just that it is scattered all over. ). He got his visa last Friday after exactly 70 days of submitting his application. All I did in that LOE was to show that his studies will add value to his professional life. Nairaland has a wealth of information for everyone's situation if only you will search for it. Though there are also discouraging posts here, concentrate on those that will allow you to achieve your objective. Above all pray for God's favor and never give up. Infact, in your case too, a graduate certificate in supply chain mgt will add value to your professional life. Keep that in mind. |

Congratulations!!!!! For your child that’s a US citizen, did she do medicals since she’ll be staying in Canada for more than 6 months? MrCodeKnight: The choice is yours, you can decide to apply for his study permit here or wait until you get to the POE. With a US passport, your child can enter a lot of countries without visa, and Canada is one of such countries. Yes, his US passport is sufficient to board a plane. The document compression was the hardest part for me, I initially started the application with the new portal, which is 2MB limit, before I found out I was using the wrong portal. SOWP can only be applied for via the old portal. I use a mac, which made it slightly easier to work with pdf documents, however, the sites below helped quite a bit. If you have a lot of documents, I would suggest you use the old portal.

Good morning all,
I am applying for visit visa for my kids (applying for my SP with them). There are some questions in the visit visa form which is very confusing, please I need your kind assistance in answering them;
1. Tell us more about what you'll do in Canada? 2. The date of entry and exit from Canada, this should be same with mine, right? 3. Are you applying on behalf of someone else? Should I note myself as their representative? 4. Who is inviting you? What is the name and address of the person inviting you? This question is confusing as the address is supposed to be a Canadian one which I don’t have as we still dey Naija. So, who should I put as the person inviting them? And what address should I put?
I thank y’all in advance for your kind contribution. |

Thanks a lot for your very helpful input. But one more issue, do they need to do medicals? Afolavid: 1. Since your kids are US citizens, they don't need a visa to get to Canada but they are dependent on you, so you have to talk about your plans or arrangement for them, in your case, they are going to Canada with you which is fine, so just ensure you show enough funds in your application to show that you can care for each of them while studying in Canada without going above your 20hrs/week work schedule.
2. The VO shouldn't have any issue with this, you should attach their birth certificates and US passports to your application. When the VO read your SOP and sees their passport, they already know you're good to go.
3. Your first statement is very valid, as long as they are minor. So they won't even need one.
Cheers!!! |

Good morning all,
I’m in the process of submitting my study visa application and need your kind input on these confusing issues;
- I intend to travel with my kids who are US citizens, since they don’t need a visa to get to Canada, so I need to add them to my application? - I stated in my SOP that I’m traveling with them, but won’t be submitting an application for them because they don’t need a visa, will the VO have an issue with this? - Children whose parents have a study permit are allowed to study without a study permit, but where they need one, can it be gotten at the airport?
Thanks in advance for your contribution. |

Yes you can but most people don’t do it cos of the transfer charge. One can explore that option if the charge is not a problem. Everybody dey find way to save money. PatrickOkunima: Bro, please permit me to ask, can't one transfer the funds from GT dom account to an account in Canada? |
