Season 5 was slow, but it's that way because it's a setup for the final season, which is season 6. Things are about to get ugly. Just to give you a taste, the Soviet Union is shaky and is within the threshold of total collapse. How Clark and Elizabeth deals with the fallout prior and after, coupled with the federal agents closing in will be interesting to see.

The finale will be interesting. I'm curious about Renee. What do you make of her? I believe she's a spy too.

Yeah, I like the way Amara speaks English, and the quiet deadly dignity she has around her. She's like the Cougar/Puma - silent, dignified but deadly. You cross her, you know what's coming.

I think Miles is a sociopath. He wasn't born at way, but growing up in the troubles and witnessing his beloved uncle get murdered, changed him. He has a bit of a conscience, but only when it doesn't interfere with his ambitions. Seeing him come very close to pushing off that annoying New Zealand actress off a cliff, just to stop her from ruining his movie is crazy. He's also a people's person, like he understands people and sh*t, and is not above blackmailing people to get his own way. And yeah, I love his Northern Irish accent.

Louis (Lulu) is another thing altogether. The guy can barely function without Miles as his mouth piece. He's very socially awkward and I gotta say, he fits all the profile of a stereotypical psychopath. He kill people casually as if he's taking out the trash. The guy is just nuts. He kills people without qualms, but balk at having pre-marital sex. I mean, what's up with that? Louis is a psycho.

I like Ed. That dude is a boss in the making. I can understand why he is Amara's right hand man.

Miles --- what about the scene with the director, he had already unbuttoned his shirt. Any other Bleep up , that director will be dead.

Louis - I found his passion as a screenwriter hilarious. His scenes as a writer were brilliant. I laughed real hard when he said his best achievement is the line he got for the movie.

Ed- Cool and loyal. He was very serious when Brandon told him about acting. I had totally forgotten about that. In the next scene he's asking Miles about acting. Hahaha

Bliz - Very funny guy. I ain't got people in LA but my people got people.... Hahaha

Oh I see. . .The good old days of the Americans. I'm sure you lost interest because of the way the Intelligence agency and Stan were slow to catch the spies but you should've held on. Season 5 was boring to me but I held on. I'm a fan and I will see them through till Stan Berman finds out about Clark and Elizabeth.

Rick bit off more than he can chew. Miles and Louis tried to warn him not to get too comfortable with Amara, but the dude won't listen, he thought he can handle her. Miles even hinted that he's gonna get hurt, but Rick thought he was been figurative. Then, the FBI came calling and they put the fear of god in him. Finally, it dawned on the poor sod that Miles and Louis ain't been metaphorical at all! When Brandon Fisher stopped the production of Mile's movie, I couldn't stop laughing at the haste at which Rick ran for his car and made for the hills. This show's got everything. It's hilarious but in a very dark way.

I laughed real hard at that scene. The way all of them cleared the location was funny.

Brilliant casting I tell ya!

Amara's funny way of speaking English. The way she carries herself. Louis' moustache and unpredictability, Rick's confused face, Miles Irish accent and persuasion skills, Bliz' funny scenes...etc

Just 10 minutes in of the pilot episode I knew It will worth my time. They have the same kind of vibe Walter white and Jesse Pinkman had on breaking bad.

Not being able to predict their next move was fascinating for me.

I hope it doesn't drag too far, else i will lose interest. I think it will be nice they improve more on the dialogues, the plot is great but the dialogues would be fun. The main reason why i enjoyed Justified for seven seasons was because the dialogue were great.

That's why I mentioned the writing. if you are a fan The Americans, you will see it has the same feel to it. 10 episodes is the norm now, so I'm all for it getting more seasons.

Counterpart is nice, i can easily see it going towards season 3 and a lot of twist happening along the way.

So many potential storylines I tell ya ---
Alternate universe, Diplomatic relations of countries, Spies and Sleeper agents, flu, Alexander Pope, Section 2 and other agencies , the other side's school, doppelgangers, etc

Homeland doesn't have enough story like this but it's on Season 7 now. If the show doesn't have 'Louis Darnell' of Get Shorty as a writer, it can easily more than three seasons.

I no go talk too much .These shows stand out for me.

Counterpart- Counterpart is the best show on TV now. I'm relieved some people see are watching it also.

My favorite Characters are Gordon , Boz and Joe, Cameron (For her eyes) , Donna and the mutiny coders. Brilliant casting!!!

I was busy with Poldark. My best characters were Aunt Agatha , Caroline (before Dr. Enys saga ) , Jud Paynter and George. Brilliant acting by these gents. Made the show very interesting for me.

It's a shame really. I know someone facing the same issue. You should check the airports....there's always that option you know. There are other ways to travel, you shouldn't limit yourself to speed boats or bus.

Different Cast altogether but the story seems almost the same. It's been entertaining so far. Still on episode 4 though.
