R***SM and tri****sm sit deep in the human nature, nothing can take it away. It can only be managed. Michael Jackson tried to become white but he still wasn't accepted, so no matter the number of years spent here or ILR/citizen or whatever status, never forget who you are. It's their land, and rightly so.
The aim is to make the best of the opportunities here, and firmly understand your place while actively contributing to the development of the host country/community. That's a better way of seeing the symbiotic relationship. He had a Skin disorder that destroys the pigmentation of the skin. |

Really strange decision.
It seems very much in favour of keeping skilled workers/Migrants as Healthcare professionals.
I'm on Post study visa now and it will take the grace of God to get 38k for a Tier2 job. |

My partner and I have been together for 9months now. We are both students here in the UK and we will be done with our study this month. She will get her Tier2 Sponsorship soon(Health and Care). We thought it's better for me to switch to her dependant and not apply for PSW. What's the process of me becoming her dependant here. Thanks |

Hi everyone,
I have a friend who works with an agency. he's a 24hrs support worker. he has grown to be a hard worker to the client and the client loves the companionship and emotional support he offers. The wife of the client also loves him. They prefer him to the other support workers who work there.
Now the issue is, the wife wants her to be the main support worker along with one other worker she choses. They want to employ her directly and stop the agency from sending workers there.
The wife of the client isn't aware of her visa status as a tier 4 student. The agency has also promised her tier 2 sponsorship. There is so so much uncertainty about the tier 2 sponsorship.
This is a situation of not biting the hands that feed you. She doesn't want the client to withdraw from the agency and wants to also continue working for the agency. Her fear is that she may lose on both sides. Not getting the sponsorship and also losing the client.
What are her options? Is there any visa that she can apply for to work with the client directly? She's confused. |

dbty: It is advisable to include your CV and employment reference with your visa application. I only uploaded the current work reference and a cv that covers the study gaps. It is more than 10days and I have not received any mail for additional documents. infact I did a paid mail on application status, which I got a reply mail that confirmed decision has been made already.
Waiting for update and collection mail and trust God it is a testimony of Visa alert already. Congrats Do you mean 10 working days? Please when did you do your biometrics?... |

UK Visa office just sent me a mail requesting Police Clearance Certificate from the Republic of Benin because i schooled there years back.
For those that schooled outside Nigeria, were you asked to get police report from another country?
If so, how did you get the report, especially, the Republic of Benin? Is this for Tier 4 application? Student Visa? |

justwise: Issuing country is the major prob here, if you live in Ghana or Cameron as a Nigerian and got your visa there you will be allowed to enter the UK without restriction. Even if its not written on the visa they still know where the application was made and other details
Look at the exemptions to see if your purpose of coming to the UK fails under that So a uk student Visa issued in Nigeria can be used to travel from Cameroon. Cameroon isn't on the red list. Maybe a favorable option. |

Tiffany123: Visa alert!!! Visa alert
God did it I know it could only be God I am that person that uploaded my degree cert instead of waec cert, as I didn’t realize on time that my CAS stated waec not degree certificate. Despite this, God still showed up for me and my family.
Submitted VAF for me and my family on 4/11/21 (priority visa) Did biometrics on 5/11/21 Got non straight forward mail for my dependents (husband and 2kids) on 9/11/21 Didn’t get any for myself Got collection mail for all of us on 12/11/21 Visa granted It can only be God
I and my husband did the application ourselves. We also opted for self upload. All the information we got was from this platform. And we r so grateful for all the valuable insight & info this platform provides. Thanks to everyone. I pray you trusting God for yours, shall share ur success story soon
RGU here we come Congratulations!!! Rgu requested for Waec Certificate? Any idea if Letter of English Proficiency is accepted |
