Very insightful thread and thanks to y'all who continuously provide clarity and guidance to people in need.

I have one quick question:
I have a pending PR profile (AOR Jan 2021) and also decided to apply for study permit (submission date April 1 2021) due to the delays in PR processing and my school resumes this August. I am yet to receive a passport request mail for the study permit and my friends who applied after me have received theirs. is it possible that my PR application is negatively affecting the study permit application? or what do you think is the cause of the delay?

Any information will be very helpful.
