It was a foolish mistake made out of my naivety. I came to Canada with a wrong enrolment letter(graduation date as April instead of August), I was given till July 31st on my study permit.
Anyway, I have gotten the correct enrolment letter and have applied for extension.

I am not sure it will come before the webform i intend to raise is reviewed, though i will put it up that i applied for extension.

i see it is a part of this package that is being neglected.
considering the delay time in processing SOWP application, by the time most people get their SOWP they would just discocer that the need for renewal is just around the corner.
lets learn from you, please share your experience.

I did my biometric 16/3/2021 still no PPR....it will be 1 year of waiting by next week ...I hope mine ends in praise as yours as I am gradually losing hope....your story just lifted my spirit abit.... honestly it isn't easy

I got a response to my webforms from London office because I sent the first webforms to both London and Nairobi. Then I tailored my form and emails to only Nairobi and I sent them emails every other day for 2weeks but I only got auto responses on my email after then.
The webforms I sent consisted of more documents that I saw people added to their applications, I thought mine was too simple so I added backup and I composed a message which I later used as my email content to Nairobi. I saw a lot of people drop screenshots of theirs earlier in this thread (between june-august E.g stonehenge's profile) and I edited and added to fit my status.

I came across something where they said "if you submit upfront medicals it kind of like speeds up the process because they don't have to request for the medicals so the VO just treats the application directly" unfortunately I don't remember where I read the post but I think it may be a reason why your husband's application has not been updated. It seems like they don't want to fully encourage the upfront medicals.

Regarding the webforms; I ordered GCMS notes same September and it dropped well after 1month and nothing was treated even till I got my PPR and I sent a lot of webforms between September and October.
Just keep praying, I pray that you guys will get PPR very very soon.

Hi Foxs my husband application was submitted on 8th February 2021. Is more than a year now. There is no update so he did medical in December and was uploaded as pass. My question is when did they reply your webform, what did you wrote in the webform. We sent a webform to Kenya office but no reply is more than 2 months now.

Thank you so much. I'm still very much confused about that Travel exemption/ authorization letter but I'll still send the email. It's not written as part of the requirements here or maybe I'm just confused, so much information at a time.

1. Stamped passport, admission letter (just in case), IRCC introduction letter, proof of vaccination.

2. IRCC is changing travel rules as from 28 February. Other requirements and documents can be found here (https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada).

3. The link in 2 above would answer this too.

1b. Renew both simultaneously.

2b. Log into your portal, and start a new application. You will be asked questions that will generate the forms you have to fill (e.g., are you applying for spouse, etc).

Please I have a few questions.
Anyone with current travel information as it seems the last information here is not so recent;
1. Please which documents are required at the airport and POE?
2. Will I need to apply for Travel exemption/authorization letter since I'm fully vaccinated?
3. Is the covid test still required 72hrs before?
4. Is quarantine plan still required even for fully vaccinated

Also, please house I need information on how to renew both study permit and work permit inside Canada.
1. Can the renewal of both Study permit and spousal work permit be done simultaneously or the study permit should be renewed first then work permit after?
2. Any info on how to go about with renewal

Amen! Thank you so much. I sent email to London and Nairobi already. I'd request the gcms note. I raised the webform but to Nairobi, I realized they usually process from NG in Nairobi.

this your matter is painful because February take style far oo! the best solution to find out your processing office and also to know what's going on with your application is a GCMS note. they usually take a bit of time so while waiting I suggest you send urgent emails to London, Beijing and Nairobi offices as it may be Nairobi and if it isn't Beijing and London tend to forward quickly to the rightful office. another thing you can do while sending the emails is to raise webforms highlighting that you have long passed the processing time IRCC has given which is presently 22 weeks for work permit applications. may the lord come through for you quickly

Like three country , replied telling me that my file was at Nairobi.

I then tailored my mails to Nairobi alone.

Hello House. Please I need help. I've been following the thread but I haven't been able to ask. My spouse applied for my SOWP early February, however, there has been no update on my profile (gckey) or my email since the confirmation of my online application. I have done biometrics before but that hasn't been updated to this application in particular although it's on my profile.

Earlier this month, I went through the forum and I assumed we didn't provide enough information seeing that we only provided the basics needed so we decided to attach more files (like SOP, SIN) using the webform and I've also booked medicals (this is also a long waiting list). We didn't know which processing office to send the webform to so after reading messages on this forum I sent email to both Nairobi and London but no response from either of them so we took a leap of faith and sent the webform to Nairobi.

Problem now is what if the webform wasn't addressed to the right processing office. I'm assuming the attached documents should be on my profile but it's been a week and nothing yet, not even a response to the email and I'm really really worried about all these. Meanwhile, they plead that you shouldn't send more web forms than required.

The waiting game for canada can be exhausting and mentally challenging. Seeing that April/May/June applicants are getting responses which is also overdue btw, I can only assume I should get some positives soon. It will be a year since I last saw my spouse, even when we dating it wasn't more than 2wks but then canada and their silent treatment is not helping matters at all. There's a relief with these updates but seeing everything blank everyday is frustrating

I'd appreciate responses, please house don't give me silent treatment like IRCC
