Am glad to know that at least Jagunlabi has read or has a copy of the bible. There is still some hope for you. When you have finished confusing yourself, late at night when that void in your heart start to worry you, that your copy of the bible will come in useful. Its been nice chatting with you guys, but I am going to watch the football. Later ![]() |
Jagunlabi, why you dey confuse yourself like this, pele oooo. Read Genesis chapter 1, maybe it will help |
@Tudor you have just taken the easy way out again. I agree that the truth IS the truth and Jesus is the truth, the way and the light and anyone that comes to him shall receive eternal life. ![]() |
Na wa O. I didnt say his response was not illogical, just that it was too easy and sounded like he wanted to get an easy way out of the discussion |
Your logic is so convincing. Keep it up Its like saying because I am standing therefore I am not sitting ![]() |
@Thor.I am really interested to hear how you intend to prove that God does not exist. Please educate me while you assume that I am unable to provide proof that he exists. |
I sense frustration, anger, confusion, loneliness, anxiety, the feeling of being lost, not wanted. I understand that is what happens when you are a lost sheep. Unfortunately there is no reprieve or remedy until you accept that you need help from God. The God i know gives peace of mind. You can have all the best responses, wise cracks and cover your frustration with attitude but in the depth of your heart you know something is missing. There will always be a void in your life. You know what, it doesnt really matter what you think or say about God, he has been the same, is the same today and will be the same for eternity. His existence does not depend on your recognising him or not. You can read all the so called best books about whether he exists or not, the only way to know about Him is to open your heart and let him in. And yes, I expect to receive more wise cracks to this. ![]() |
The fool in his mind says there is no God. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible." Hebrews 11: 1- 3 ![]() |
I be lawyer ooo, but I find the discussions very educative. Its not easy working with technical people in the telecoms industry. You guys come up with all these acronyms and abbreviations that I think are merely meant to confuse those of us who work in the support services |
I think Mr. Abati is loosing it. Some of his recent articles have not hit the mark at all. People's taste in music differ, just like everythig else. There are people who will rather buy Tribune than buy Guardian, does that mean that they are not wise. I am extremely proud of the achivements of our Naija musicians. There used to be a time when you go to a party in Nigeria and its only foreign music that is played, but things have changed. I came back to Naija a few weeks ago for my brother's wedding and at the bachelor's party the music of Nigerian artistes were played non stop for the almost 8 hours that I was there. I was really proud. If we want to blame anybody for the moral laxity in Naija( i will continue to use Naija hoping Mr. Abati will continue to be pissed off) it is definitely not this set of artiste. Where do you want to put politicians who steal our inheritance and turn young girls into prostitutes. Are these artistes also responsible for jobless graduates who turn into 419ners and robbers (please note am not making excuses for this set of people). These artistes have provided employment for more people than Mr. Abati and his Guardian newspapers. He should find more important topics to write about |
I dont know about the best, but the worst is FCMB. Their customer service is non existence. Unfortunately I have some good friends who work there |
Am not a techie but I work in the telecoms industry and presently in Iran on a project. When I arrived in Iran I noticed how Huawei was getting most of the projects and was concerned because I was not sure about the quality of their equipment and service. However it appears that the people here are happy with what they have done so far and in some instances ericsson equipment is being swapped for Huawei. I have also noticed that Huawei are very aggresive when it comes to pricing. There is no way the Ericssons of this world can compete with them when it comes to pricing. |
