As promised, here's one of the samples. I didn't include the address, introduction and conclusion since those ones are basically same format.

I explained clearly in my first write up. The person that taught me from A2 to. B2 is different from the lady that helped me to prepare for tef. I met the lady during prep classes for tef. She came to write the exam too so she's familiar with the tef structure.. The one that taught me is AF tutor(man) via online classes. At that time he wasn't so familiar with tef structure..

Chriswazo:

The online TEF instructor, is it the same woman u have out her number? You had earlier said man.

I did online classes from A2 to B2. Started in January 2019, by June I was in B2. A1 was physical class though November-december 2018. I just contacted my teacher @ AF and we started.

Here's an advice to you, something I learnt the hard way during the course of this journey. Getting to B2 is different from preparing for tef. So don't be in a rush to write the exams. Give yourself enough time to prepare well and get it the first time. 160k no be small money ooo. The psychological effect too, can be very devastating. Just prepare well and you'll be fine with just one attempt

Amylew:
You are such an inspiration and you make it all seem so doable. With perseverance and fortitude of course. I am gingered to be more serious because frankly I get discouraged and wonder if I can ever get to expert level.

Thank you for taking us through the step by step of the psychology behind the numbering of the questions. I really appreciate
it. I observed the same that the first 10 to 20 questions for listening and reading are A1 level. I could even attempt some but as i went up, Hian embarassed embarassed embarassed

Quick question to you and to everyone.
Been on A1 since January because AF shut down.
Do you think an online class can take me from A2 to B2? I'm tired of AF and their time wasting. Imagine since January, they only just opened 2 days ago.

Thank you Mamaroon. I don archive these awards and medals.

No one can completely understand these french people. New methods everyday.

Mamaroon:

Wo sis....manage this medal on top the award grin

I'm sure many will find this information very useful. LOL @ the statement on bold!

I still don't understand their rationale for giving candidates different questions in EE CBT though.

I like your passion already. The physical class has it's own advantages, make good use of it. Make as many friends as possible, practice daily with them. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, it's all part of the learning process.

And I completely agree with Mamaroon, "no one can motivate you like you".
As far as monitoring your progress is concerned, I'm not sure how to do that. You can shed more light on what exactly you want d person to do. However, when the preparation for the exam starts, I'll be glad to give you pointers on what could be helpful.

Thank you so much mamaroon for the award (lol) and thanks to everyone. Apologies, I haven't been able to respond to some messages. I had issues with my phone, it should be sorted out this week.
Here are a few hints though:
1. Tef in Lagos is now computer based(old gist right?) Anyways, the keyboard is qwerty and there's usually a tutorial on how to put the accents, so no worries there
2. Unlike the paper based exam where everyone is given the same question paper, with the computer based, you are on your own because everyone has different questions.
3. Time management is key so keep your eyes on the timer because some will automatically log you out once the time is up whether you are done or not

CE (Reading): Read those 102 passages in circulation. In fact, you can easily get 6points (clb 9 minimum) here. Questions 1-10 are usually A1 A2 levels, practice with the ones in circulation and you'd be fine. 11-13 usually bar chart, pie chart, table etc comparing two different things, nothing complicated here, again practice with tef 250 activities, tef objective reussite, past questions etc. 14-40 are usually passages, this is where those 102 passages come in handy. 41-45 arrange 4 statements in correct order. With continuous practice, you'll know just what to do. Sometimes you may not know the order of all 4 sentences, but one or two of them will usually let u know which should be first or last, then look at d options & voila, it'll make more sense. 45-50, very straight forward- interprete short sentences.

CO (Listening): I can't emphasize practice enough here. 1-20 usually not so complicated. 1-8 are pictures, identify the correct order. There will be be 4 pictures and 5 options. The good news is that you get to hear the conversation twice. So, listen the first time, pick the ones you can, then listen again to confirm what you have picked. 9-20. You identify category of telephone voice mails (family, friend, professional and advert) and why the person called. Again practice practice. 21-28, more like announcements, they'll ask where it was made and content of the message. Each announcement has two questions. From this point (question 20) you get to hear the message just once so beware. You have to listen ATTENTIVELY. Even if mosquito dey bite you, wait 1st, after the announcement, u fit kill am. I'm not even joking. 29-34, again short messages and the questions are on what type of message is it (Santa, fait diver, metro etc) you hear it once. 35-40 survey, they ask peoples' opinion on certain topics and you'd have to figure out if the person is for, against, did not say, for under certain conditions and you hear it once. 41-50, it gets complicated here, long messages. The good news is that with some diggings, you can see some passages in circulation. 51-60 seem simple enough yet if you're not careful, it's very easy to miss. They are true or false questions and you hear it once. They write a sentence, you listen to what is pronounced and answer true or false whether what was read correspond to what is witten. This is mostly A1 but fait attention, it's tricky.

EO (Speaking): Two sections A and B
Section A lasts 5mins, there's an advert, you ask questions to get more Info about the advert. My advice here: have a brief introduction: Eg: Suis-je bien au .... Je m'appele ... Suite a la lecture de votre announce, je me permet de vous contacter. Je suis vraiment interessée mais j'ai quelques questions a vous poser, avez vous un peu de temps à me consacrer? You can modify it to suit what you want or just compose your own. You are in total control of this section so make good use of it.
Section B (hmmnn), na here be d Koko. The examiner is your friend, you try to convince him to participate in something for 10mins! He'll be giving you excuses why he can't do it and you have to be giving counter reasons why he should. Practice with as many questions as you can lay your hands on.

EE (Writing, HHMMMNNN): I honestly don't even know what to advice here but this was what I did. I practiced with all the questions I could lay my hands on, sent them out for corrections. There are two sections A and B. Everything lasts 1hour. Note that section B carries more marks than section A so you have to decide how much time to allocate to each section. I did 35mins section B, 20mins section A, 5 mins for revision. I usually start with section B
Section A: Fait diver: They'll write a short part of a story and say complete it, 80 words minimum. Just read fait divers in Journaux and see how they structure it. There are some videos on YouTube you can use too Eg Mimi tef. Practice with as many past questions as you can get. In fact, when you finish practising with this section, you can even become a réalisateur because you go develop new skill in story telling.
Section B: Argumentative letter for or against. Almost all the topics disponibles are on Google. You can get points to argue for or against here. You can also have access to sample letters on Facebook group " comment section preparer au tef". Abeg try join d group, e get why. It's actually a gold mine. You can't do without practice here. For non native speakers, this is one area that can very easily rubbish all the C1 and C2 in other areas especially if you want that bonus mark. During practice, I realized quickly that some letters are so bizarre that it can take days to get points on those letters, I used to imagine what would have happened if I was given that letter on exam day without prior practice. If you no practice, wetin you gain? Just try. Pay attention to accents. Some people argue for and against. I just argued for and I was fine. The lady that helped me argued for (or against can't remember), she Sha picked one side and she scored 445/450. Those days AF Lagos used to send candidates the master sheet showing everyone's scores, so nothing was hidden. You can tell who scored what. But they have stopped that now. I try & conclusion are almost always the same, have those handy, make you know say na the points you go dey hustle for abi?

I'll stop here. When I'm able to access my phone, I'll post some samples. Merci beaucoup a tous

Mamaroon:

Framaro!!!!!!

Congratulations does not seem like a big enough greeting...ku ise!!! Very very very well done. As Fabguen said, you are the first Nigerian non-native speaker that me, I have seen with C (experienced/skilled user) all round...51 cool CRS points (if I am not mistaken)....for that you deserve an award. Oya take! See the number of FD and letters ah ahn!!!

Your story is an inspiration.....thanks for sharing. May God bless that lady that assisted you at no cost, may she never lack helpers.

Thanks for all the encouragement to those who are on the verge of giving up.

Good success to you and hubby with IELTS, watch out for their own writing test too o, they are always looking for the person they will give 6.5 instead of 7 or 7.5 grin.

It is your age that's dropping your pts, however, either you max IELTS or max TEF clb 7 is 6666, you will still fly.
How about your working experience? Is it up to 3 years? Your Msc is an advantage

I've maxed out ielts 8.5/8/8/8.
I had just completed b2 level before taking d tef exam. Im thinking of retaking the test but I'm thinking of CBT. Not sure yet

Worldtaker:
I don't know if you wanna try IELTS again, but if you can max it with this scores, you're already post 470 CRS. If not you can try TEF one more time. If I may ask, what was your proficiency level before attempting TEF?

Please where did you write the computer based tef?

Enculer:

I wrote on the 17th. I am expecting my results in speaking and writing but I saw the first two immediately.

I was the only one in the centre. Turned the volume loud. No disturbance. I wrote a couple of years back to test my level for professional reasons. TEF not TEF Canada. I had B2 in all but 1 (speaking- C1).

There were noisy guys in the room. People reading out loud. They were extra inconsiderate. Plus they were quick. I almost went crazy.

So when I was usherd in this time. I was like yes I am king in this hall.

..
................

I have a sneaky feeling that TEF is made to encourage Francophones to score high. IELTS guys are just di.cks (excuse my French).
