For just beyond is the land of no worries.

I really like d way u play with words, u do it with lots of meaning attached. Writing provides that avenue for a lot of us to set aside our heavy burdens, 'For just beyond is the land of no worries.' Bravo!!!

God, Another Letter to You!

In the midst of all I've been involved,
Discontent stands out!
In all I've been deprived,
Joy smiles from such distance.
All I've lost are all I've done,
Nothing I've lost is undone;
An unending desire called wish!

In all I'd wish I'd become,
Hope revolves around want.
In all I've become,
Humanity's reflection glows.
All I want are those I'm not!
Nothing defies hunger like death,
That end that means end!

In all I've lost,
Lord, restore me one.
In all I've become,
Take away maturity;
Experience  destroys adulthood,
Nothing except that sense of childhood,
All I've lost is all I've become.

LONELINESS

                           I am sinking, sinking into quicksand
                     In the depths of lonely land
              With frightened, terrified eyes I look around
                              But there is no one to be found
                                    I am scared, at my wits end
                                          As far as I can see, no friend
                    The more I try to pull myself up free
               The more it sucks me in chest deep
              But wait, I see faces like a glimmer of hope
                                           Coming to my aid like a saving rope
                                   I hold on, clinging to it for my dear life
                           But it disappears cutting my heart like a knife
                       I am disappointed at them I begin to say
                                         But my mouth is filled with the sands of dismay
                                            Realization strikes me I’m all alone
                                                      No one by me, on my own
                  I choke on a sob feeling helpless
      As the last grains of sand burn my eyes and I am buried in loneliness

You have us like no other, U can't be lonely, can u now?

The Stare

In her black’s beauty,
Blank lay guilty…
In a poet’s mind,
Words became kind.

In her beam,
She’s more than she seem,
In words’ race,
She’s more than her face.

Some eyes see blank,
Converse of what her mind’s drank…
Courage knows no bound,
More than what’s found.

Darkness rages like a tempest,
She goes deep, deeper and deepest;
The mind seeks more,
With lots of words to pore.

From Father comes hope,
Strength to cope…
The future, her gallant stare,
Until darkness knows dare!

You write nice lines, sure. Is sun the only source of inspiration? C'mon, this is unoriginal. Sorry to say this: I have a high taste of poetry hence i qualified your lines average because they're prosaic, i mean the imagery isn't striking. That's me. Just being me!
