In the past, whoever said Oshiomole will be fidgeting about the outcome of an election in Edo State will be termed a Liar...

Oshiomole, the one-time loved Governor has turned to a name not wanting to be heard by the Edo people...

In 2007, he clearly won the Edo State Governorship Election under the defunct AC, but the election was rigged to favour the then PDP candidate, Professor Oserhiemen Osunbor. Oshiomole later won in the Election Tribunal and the Court of Appeal... He was sworn in as Governor in November 2008

Oshiomole performed well in his first tenure as Governor and was massively voted back into office in July 2012 winning the election by a landslide, his closest candidate being General Charles Arhiavere of the PDP...

Then the second term syndrome sets in... His highly rated performance in his first tenure couldn't be retained in his second tenure... Over-taxation and Multiple-taxation is the order of the day... His popularity level dropped to a massive low... The man that came up with "One Man, One Vote", "Say No To Godfatherism", became the Godfather of APC in Edo State... He took decisions personally without wanting to hear advice from people. He single-handedly picked the APC Gubernatorial candidate and his running mate...

I was reliably informed from sources that the APC shared 2,000 Naira each to the Electorates to cast their votes for their party. If Oshiomole had performed well in his second tenure, would this have been the case??

My question to the Edo people; will 2,000 Naira be enough for you to sell ur conscience for the next four years??

The election was postponed because Oshiomole knew his party was going to lose to the PDP... Oshiomole came into power because PDP during the tenure of Chief Lucky Igbinedion performed woefully and Oshiomole was loved due to his achievements as the NLC president, so the Edo people chased PDP out...

How can a party saying it's fighting corruption, be inducing the Electorates with the sum of 2,000 Naira each to sell their votes? Isn't that corruption??

If PDP eventually wins this election, the APC should hold Oshiomole responsible because he gave the PDP a chance to come back after their abysmal performance from 1999-2007...

INEC, the Edo People Say No to Election Rigging...
