Today, food prices have doubled and tripled. Salaries have lost meaning. Basic survival now feels like a daily battle.
Feeding a family is no longer normal responsibility, it’s a struggle. Good healthcare is now a luxury. School fees are choking parents.

Exactly what was promised has happened.

So what exactly is the complaint now?
When someone tells you they will reduce your purchasing power, they are telling you they will make you poorer. They are telling you your money will become useless. They are telling you that the life you are managing now will get worse.

The promise was fulfilled, and it hit the people squarely. Every hardship, every empty plate, every sleepless night, every painful choice is the direct result of that decision.

This is not luck. This is not coincidence. This is the outcome Nigerians voted for, and they are living it in full.

When someone warns you that life will get harder and you still choose them, you don’t just suffer the result, you brought it upon yourself.

We are the worst citizens ever. In other countries, talks like this will be the reason you will lose the support of everyone, even that of your party members. But in Nigeria, anyone can say anything and still get massive support.

We empower those who harm us. We validate the very people who make our lives unbearable. And then we cry when we suffer the consequences of our own choices.
