SOHO SHOULDN'T DENY NNAMDI KANU BAIL BASED ON 'PROBABILITY RULING' Thursday, 18 February 2016 JUSTICE JOHN TSOHO SHOULDN'T DENY NNAMDI KANU BAIL, BASED ON 'PROBABILITY RULING' By Ibeh Gift Amarachi For Family Writers No where in the World where a Judge will make a ruling based on probability, Constitution and Laws will forever supersede probability and its stand in any Court of jurisdiction. If a Judge makes rulings based on probability, it means, that very Judge is not competent enough and should be fired. Justice John Tsoho made a ruling on the 29 of January at the Federal High Court Abuja and in his statement "Nnamdi Kanu will not be granted bail, because he is 'LIKELY TO JUMP BAIL' due to his dual possession of passport". TSOHOI have exposed the meaningless, baseless and unconstitutional violation of the human right of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, due to his dual citizenship. But, it is very paramount to let the World know that, the total reasons for the denial of bail of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu by Justice John Tsoho the puppet Judge of tyrant Mohammadu Buhari, who is actually in charge of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu's case,is totally Fraudulent, Unconstitutional, Illegal, A violation of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu's right and a slap on not just Nigeria judiciary but every Court of jurisdiction. I will like to drag your attention to this probability ruling "BECAUSE HE IS LIKELY TO JUMP BAIL". What an insult to the Court of jurisdiction, which indicates that Justice John Tsoho schooled in an environment, that is not conducive for learning, for him not to have understood what he was taught in Law School. It is only a Judge with good training that wouldn't let a Hundred Million Naira bribe becloud his thought of reasoning, by not making rulings based on the Law to expose his standard of education. One will ask, what moves are members of the Nigeria Judiciary taking, in other to stop the dragging of Nigeria judiciary into the mud by Justice John Tsoho through Citizen Nnamdi Kanu's case? Just speaking against this barbaric ruling in your bedroom, has no effect in the removal of the stain on the white cloth of Law. An unabated action must be taken, because a probability ruling is a slap to every court of jurisdiction. You don't use a dicey and probability ruling, to keep ones right in hostage. The right of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu must stop been trampled on, based on a probability ruling. He must be granted bail and must not be denied his human right, due to a laughable probability ruling. Citizen Nnamdi Kanu have been tortured and assaulted both in Nigeria secret chamber and as well publicly in the court of Law,by DSS and even Kuje Prison warders for over 90days,against the Nigeria Constitution, which tyrant Mohammadu Buhari and Puppet Justice John Tsoho, considers trashy by replacing it with their personal constitutions, which includes "Probability Ruling". If John Tsoho wants to practicalise the new Self Probability Constitution, then it must not be on the human right of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu. He should use such personal law, against Zarah Buhari and Senator Bukola Saraki who are in possession of dual passport and release Citizen Nnamdi Kanu whose right has been trampled unlawfully and against humanity. |
"FROM DETENTION I BECAME MORE BIAFRAN THAN EVER"-IPOB PROTESTER Thursday, 18 February 2016 "AFTER MY RELEASE FROM DETENTION, I BECAME MORE BIAFRAN THAN EVER"-IPOB PROTESTER A Peaceful Biafra protester, who was arrested by the Nigeria Force in Rivers State and kept under detention for over Five Months without trial, was interviewed by Ibeh Gift Amarachi of Family writers and he made his ordeals known. WHAT ARE YOUR NAMES AND WHERE ARE YOU FROM? My names are Mr Anyanwu Chiwendu,I'm from Ubakala Umuahia in Abia State Biafra Land. I'm nicknamed 'BLACKY' by my friends, due to my dark colour. HOW WERE YOU DETAINED BY THE NIGERIA FORCE? During the first protest in Rivers State, before the Governor of Rivers State by name Governor Nyesom Wike banned peaceful protest in Rivers State, I was forcefully captured by the Nigeria Police alongside with other Peaceful protesters and we were taken to Mini-Okoro Police Station and then transferred to State CID in Rivers State. They were doing this transfer without deeming it fit, to let us know the exact crime we committed. We stayed at State CID without the notice of our Families and we were severely tortured like criminals. So surprise a Van came to State CID,we were handcuffed and taken to Port Harcourt Prisons. We stayed in Port Harcourt Prisons for over Months without trial or a contact with our Family members. HOW DID YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS GET TO KNOW YOU WERE TRANSFERED TO PORTHARCOURT PRISONS? It was due to the alarm we raised and I'm convinced IPOB did same too via various platforms that we were allowed to contact our Family members, to tell them the exact place we were detained. I called my Wife and she contacted my Family members and Friends as well. My Wife usually come twice in a week to see me and she pays what the Prison warders tags, “GATE FEE OF ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NAIRA”, whenever she comes to pay a visit and same goes to my Friends and other Family members. WHERE YOU ARMED WHILE PROTESTING, THAT WARRANTED THE ARREST AS CLAIMED BY NIGERIA FORCE? No... I had nothing, except my phone which was in my pocket and Wristwatch. I went for a Peaceful protest, not a War. So, I had no weapon with me. We were protesting peacefully, without hurting or harming anyone from Eleme Junction towards Artillery and all of a sudden, heavily armed men and armored Cars, started shooting directly at us. Some of us were severely injured and about two persons died. While I was running to safe my Life, we were blocked and badly beaten by a combined team of Nigeria Police, Army and Navy. But the Van that took me and other Biafrans away was a Police Van and it was from Mini-Okoro Police Station. They stripped us our phones and Wrist watches and then threw us into the cell, calling us Criminals who want to divide Nigeria. WHAT ARE YOUR EXPERIENCE WHILE IN DETENTION? Oh... It was indeed terrible. Nigeria is indeed a useless and hopeless Country, without respect for human right. We were taken to Mini-Okoro Police Station and beaten mercilessly. I was injured likewise other detained protesters, but we weren't given treatment. They later transferred us to State CID and finally to Port Harcourt Prisons, without trial for over Four months. Eighty Six captured IPOB peaceful protesters were kept in a very small room, including me. Most of us developed various infections and we were all denied Medical attention. There was no space to turn while sleeping, so one had to sleep straight and we developed what we tagged "DENGE",a kind of obvious lump of blood seen in any direction you lie with, since there was no space to turn our body all through the nights we spent in Prison. If you fall sick, is to your own detriment, because nobody will come to your aid or attend to you. Other Prisoners were treated well, but IPOB Prisoners, were given a different painful and animalistic treatment, as if we were criminals, even before trial. After several disturbance by IPOB,we were later given an opportunity to be trialed. When trial commenced, we were treated like criminals, as we were handcuffed while forcefully pushed into the Prison Van that took us to Port Harcourt Prisons. We sat on the floor during every trial. WHAT WAS THE CHARGES AGAINST YOU BY THE NIGERIA GOVERNMENT? The Lawyer said, we committed Treason, for agitating towards the restoration of Biafra and protesting peacefully. And it’s very funny. Our counsel argued and asked, if he knows what treason is? How can peaceful protesters commit treason? If we committed treason for peacefully protesting and asking for the release of the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that means every peaceful protester home and abroad should be charged for treason. IPOB have the right to Self-Determination and it is not treasonable, to exercise that right. We were later released, after over 5 months of detention. |
NNAMDI KANU SET TO APPEAR IN COURT ON THE 19TH OF FEB. WHAT'S NEXT? Thursday, 18 February 2016 NNAMDI KANU SET TO APPEAR IN COURT ON THE 19TH OF FEB. WHAT'S NEXT? By Okonkwo Isaac Somto For Family Writers The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) and the director of Radio Biafra/Biafra Television will be appearing in court on the 19th of February after his trial was cancelled by Justice John Tosho on 9th of February. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu trial was suppose to take place on the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of February but his trial was suspended indefinitely by judge Tosho. This not the first time the Nigeria Judiciary is making a mockery of the rule of law and justice that they ought to uphold, judge Tosho seems to be dancing to the tune of Mohammdu Buhari, forgetting that he swore an oath to do right to all manner of people before the law without fear or favour, affection or ill will. Justice Tosho actions in Nnamdi Kanu case and court proceedings does not portray that of a Judge who is without fear or favour, affections or ill will. Also president Buhari actions towards the Nigeria judiciary shows that he doesn't care if he's in a democratic rule, dictatorship is what he's used too. Buhari also believes that force, dictatorship and intimidation is the key to suppressing people and creating fear amongst them to do his bidding. He made a statement during his first media chat, stating that Nnamdi Kanu dual passport is a crime and criminal offence, therefore making his bail application void, if that is the case, what about Zarah? Buhari’s daughter who also happens to have a British and Nigerian passport, who will arrest Zarah Buhari for having a dual passport? This just shows how evil, deceitful and deadly Mohammdu Buhari is. Buhari hates Igbo-Biafrans with passion and won't stop at nothing to make sure Nnamdi Kanu is sentence to life imprisonment, that's why judge Tosho keeps adjourning the case. All this hatred for Igbo-Biafrans, all this killing against them, all this injustice and cruelty directed to them, yet the United Nations is aware, EUROPEAN UNION is aware, AMERICA is aware, BRITAIN is aware, INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHT LAW is aware, The WORLD is aware, so why is no one saying anything to defend the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) against such barbaric acts? Why are they cold-silent? Why the harsh treatment? Why the discrimination? Why? Why? Why? These questions will keep coming up, until something is done. Nnamdi Kanu court trial will kick off on the 19th of February, so what's next? Will judge Tosho continue adjourning the case to please Buhari or will he stand for what's right and lawful? Please let's stay tuned and watch as events untold. God bless IPOB and God bless THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF BIAFRA. |
there is growing fear and tension within the corridors of power and presidency in Abuja Nigeria as the International Criminal Court sent in their first letter of invitation to the Nigerian Government headed by Mohammed Buhari over the incessant killing of Biafrans. This news was made available on the fan page of Radio Biafra. You will recall that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) through their Dutch Lawyer Goran had on the 29th January made a submission to the ICC for Crimes Against Humanity committed against the Biafran people by the Nigerian Government headed by Buhari. The indigenous people of Biafra had accused the Nigerian Government of killing unarmed protesters in Aba, Portharcourt, Anambra, Enugu and Imo States as well as unlawful detention. The Indegenous People of Biafra headed by Nnamdi Kanu who is currently in prison in Nigeria have been in a long struggle for self determination and independence. Unconfirmed report has it that the Nigerian Government has approached their British friends to help save them from the onslaught of the International Criminal Court for the Crimes Against Humanity which they are being accused of committing. |
Thanks my brother |

ANXIETY ON BIAFRA: AIG Warns Policemen Over Detention Of Suspects Beyond 24Hrs The authorities of the Nigerian Police Force will adhere strictly to the principle of not detaining a suspect for more than 24 hours to check against abuse of human rights by the policemen. This is coming after the publication by the ibtimes UK on the evidence against the Nigerian state The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of zone 8, Tanko Lawal disclosed this in Ilorin, Kwara State yesterday. He made the disclosure while addressing officers and men of the Kwara State Police Command at the command’s headquarters in Ilorin on the policy thrust of the present police leadership. Lawal said it was the decision of the leadership that in order that the provision of the nation’s constitution is not breached no suspect must be detained by the police beyond 24 hours. He said the leadership’s position is that in a situation where it requires longer time to investigate a case the suspect should be taken to court or released on bail. |

Resentment Still Stirring in Nigeria's Former Biafra September 2015 Chris Stein It’s been decades since Nigeria’s southeast tried to secede, renaming itself Biafra and sparking a civil war that left nearly 1 million people dead. Biafra is long gone, but some in the southeast are still agitating for separation. Since independence in 1960, Nigeria has seen periodic conflicts between the country’s many ethnic groups. Perhaps none were as wrenching as the civil war, which started in 1967 when the country’s southeast, which is dominated by the Igbo people, seceded. Biafra didn’t make it to its third birthday. But 45 years after it was reabsorbed into Nigeria, its name lives on among pressure groups, who say they haven’t benefited as citizens of Nigeria. Biafra supporters “The government of Nigeria, which is always run by the Hausa-Fulanis or the Yorubas, are always using government policies against our people,” said Uchenna Madu, the media coordinator of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB), referring to two of the other major ethnic groups in Nigeria. The continued agitation by supporters of Biafra in the southeast has unnerved Nigerian authorities. On Tuesday, the police announced they had arrested 22 people affiliated with MASSOB and another pro-Biafra group for inciting violence. Ronney Onwuka, a community leader in the town of Oba in the southeastern Anambra state, said despite the fact that President Muhammadu Buhari recently appointed an Igbo to head the state oil company, the agitation for Biafra stems from a feeling the federal government doesn’t care about the southeast or the Igbo people. “If we can be treated like this, why not we be alone? I call what you see as a result of marginalization,” said Onwuka. |
