Whew! I just finished Bates Motel Season 2. Great acting and a beautiful story.
Norman bates has multiple personality disorder and the other personality lurking in the background is the mother. Jekyll and Hyde...Very funny.
I was right when I said it was the mother that made him kill Blaire Watson.
Though not literally, it's still the mother's voice telling him to do all those horrible things, and he wouldn't have passed the polygraph, if the second personality(she) had not taken over.
Passing the polygraph test is a confirmation its is real.
The dissociative identity disorder is crazy. I once read a book by Sidney Sheldon where a lady had three personalities.
There's always a violent personality in those suffering from it.
