Dude, I sincerely apologise if I got under your skin, I have a tendency to do that sometimes. If by striking out most of my comments and throwing slurs at me made you feel better, then by all means, you can have a go at this one as well after I'm done.

My colleague loves the 5th season just like you (irrespective of the fact that almost everyone online has something bad to say about it), but then she has a wacky taste in television series to begin with. I use the series, Quantico (a universally hated show), to drive home my point. Get it now?

Since politics and power were the running themes, don't you think it would make a lot of sense to compare main characters in both shows that share similar traits to one another? In this case Frank & Little Finger share some similarities thus comparing and contrasting their respective characteristics isn't only unevitable but criminal not to do so.

Any sane person that have watched the whole season and then come out to say Season 5 delivered is nothing but a fanboy.

You see, thats the problem... Comparing One show with another (Never seen an episode of Quantico in my life). Let HoC be HoC, and GOT be GOT. You are the only one here comparing different characters of a Series that dont "Gel"

Don't get me wrong, I admire your royalty to the show, but daring to suggest that anyone with a differing opinion doesn't get it reeks of radical fanboyism to me.

This season just dragged for me. The writing for me was sloppy and all over the place with multiple arcs.

One of the things that attracted me to HoC was that it was realistic portrayal of real world politics. Aside from the murders, everything in Seasons 1 and 2 were things that I can see, and definitely believe. They really nailed the line of believable fiction. However, as the Seasons wore on they seemed to want to tie it in with modern events. Season 3 or 4 had the Russia plotline which was clearly influenced from Obama and Putin.

This season has a lot of parallels as well. I feel like the writers are just so lazy that instead of coming up with exciting scenarios they just rehash real world events. Everything at the end was so lazy and just convenient for the writers.

Claire's last words of the season practically made me cringe. I thought they were making them (Frank & Claire) a badass force to be reckoned with, but here we are again back to the Season 3 finale... rinse and repeat. She's just fvcking annoying now.

Bottom line, the show is going in circles and they need to hit the brakes, put it out of it's miserly, just cancel it quietly.

Most things u said here are true except the script being sloppy. The series has always been about Frank and Claire attaining power. The means power is gotten is always shaddy, mindblowing, and annoying. Francis talked about a level higher than the presidency, he orchestrated the whole thing to put claire in power just for a pardon for him and Doug. Seems Claire has her own agenda.

it's a good thing peeps like u still exist,but taboo is trashy na.. I fell asleep so many times I deleted the episodes and later downaloaded it again,thinking maybe I would adjust,baba the stuffz boring die!!!!!!
maybe its because I've seen other shows were the main actor did great like peaky blinders.

I dont think so. I downloaded it and did not watch it cos I had preferences. I am currently watching it and its fun (More Pictures to come).

Black Mirror is also legit... every episode keeps you on edge. S01E01 is still my favourite.

And the season6 is not that interesting, it focused mainly on Oliver quin.

Its a very good show... Carrie and Saul are my favourites. Dont be shocked if Broody returns in future seasons.

Also its Peter Quinn not Oliver Quinn the highly unstable boring Archer
