https://yagaent.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/20140812-110147-39707135.jpg Pictures of a suspected iPhone 6 are circulating, but it is more likely they depict a cheap knock-off An “iPhone 6”, suspected to be a knock-off Chinese clone, has set pulses racing as Apple fans count down the last month until new phones are released. The pictures of the device, supposedly in its final retail packaging, surfaced on the tech blog TechRadar on Monday morning. They show a phone similar to the iPhone 5S, albeit larger with more rounded edges and a few subtle design differences. The box itself is nearly identical to that of the 5S, while a picture of the phone being turned on shows the familiar Apple logo on a boot screen. But a number of tell-tale signs highlight the pictures as probable fakes. Most notably, the screenshot on the front of the case is of a device running iOS 7, due to be superseded by iOS 8 on the new devices released in the autumn. Missing from the front is the Health app, a default application on every iOS device and a major publicity target for Apple. Similarly, the build quality of the phone itself appears not to be up to typical apple standards. The plastic strips breaking up the metal band around the side appear to have grown compared to the iPhone 5S, as has the visible separation between the glass and the screen – something Apple has been working to reduce over the years. There are a number of discrepancies between the box art and the phone itself, with the box displaying a gold “iPhone 6” despite carrying a silver model. To top it all off, the supposed source of the phone – “an Apple beta tester” – doesn’t match at all with how the company has previously distributed beta devices. In previous years, beta testers haven’t received their phones in retail packaging, and have instead been handed devices in cases designed to obscure the fact that they are an iPhone at all. It would a be a major change for a company with such a dedication to secrecy to lift such practices. So where is the phone from? The pictures seem too imperfect to simply be a photoshop, and a few images – particularly the moire effect on the screen itself – would be hard indeed to fake. Instead, it seems likely that the device is a knock-off iPhone 6 of the sort already produced and sold in Asian markets. Clone iPhones are big business, and the devices don’t just ape the physical look and feel of the phone, but even attempt to clone the UI as much as possible. In 2011, an American tourist in China even discovered a clone Apple Store, apparently staffed with employees who didn’t know they were not working for Apple. In an effort to beat the competition, the knock-off vendors keep up to date with the rumour mill just as much as the biggest Apple fans, and begin production of their own versions well in advance of the launch. That might be how this device matches the rumoured screen size and hardware design so closely. Despite Apple’s commitment to secrecy, the size of the initial shipment of iPhones is now so high, and the supply chain so large, that the firm struggles to prevent leaks to the same degree that it managed to in 2010, when the first generation iPad was introduced to an audience who had no clue what the device would look like. The new iPhone is likely to include at least one larger model, with a screen measuring 4.7 inches, and maybe a second 5.5 inch device on top of that. Those screens could be made out of either sapphire or a sapphire blend, to make them more scratch-proof than any previous model. Please are you guyz aware of any store that I can get the apple iphone 5s? If i cannot get it this week, hopefully next week or if i can pre-order. thanks |
Apple pulled back the curtain on its buzzy iPhone 5 successor at a Tuesday launch event held at the company's Cupertino, CA headquarters. Physically, the gold, space gray, or white aluminum iPhone 5S closely resembles the iPhone before it (bye, bye, basic black,) but Apple bulks it up with a fingerprint scanner, a faster 64-bit A7 processor, and high-end camera features. The iPhone 5S costs the same on contract as the iPhone 5 did at launch: $199 for the 16GB version, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB. Protective cases will cost $39 each. Along with the cheaper iPhone 5C ($99 for 16GB for a two-year contract,) the iPhone 5S goes on sale September 20 in various countries liek the US, UK, China, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, and Singapore. They phones will come to 100 countries and 270 carriers in December. The normal hype and buildup ahead of a new iPhone release, which is typically punctuated by a painfully slow trickle of leaks that accelerate as Apple’s big media event nears, seems to be reaching a crescendo a little early this time around. We’re still a week off from Apple’s expected unveiling of an iPhone 5S and lower-cost iPhone 5C — Apple has confirmed the September 10 event. Many of the images come courtesy of one man, the increasingly prolific Apple leaker, Sonny Dickson. Based in Australia, it would seem that Dickson has some very helpful contacts in Apple’s Asian supply chain. We used to see what Dickson got his hands on primarily through Twitter, but this year it’s his Web site that has become the repository of iLeaks. The above shot of the presumed champagne-colored iPhone 5S next to a light blue iPhone 5C comes from a single gallery posted Friday that gives us a good look at the new housing and a number of components. Dickson’s site also houses more photos, videos, and “hands-on” content with several other iPhone parts and rear casings in a rainbow of colors. Of course, what we’ve yet to see is a fully operational new iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C running iOS 7, so perhaps there’s still some more exciting last-minute leaks to look forward to. Or, I suppose we could just wait and see what Apple has to say on September 10. more on http://www.yagaent.com/leaked-iphone-5s-iphone-5c-pictures/ visit www.yagaent.com for all the latest news

Twitter has added photo-sharing features to its mobile service, allowing users to edit images and enhance them with artistic filters. The features are similar to those of photo app Instagram, which stopped users from displaying its pictures on twitter over the weekend. Users can now only post a link to Instagram’s site. One expert said the action was designed to help the social networks make more money from their users. Twitter explained its move in a blog post, saying that users would now be able “to edit and refine photos, right from Twitter”. “Every day, millions of people come to twitter to connect with the things they care about and find out what’s happening around the world. “As one of the most compelling forms of self-expression, photos have long been an important part of these experiences.” Removing integration Instagram was bought by Facebook in April 2012 Instagram was bought by Facebook in April 2012 and has more than 100 million users. It stopped supporting Twitter’s Cards feature last week. The facility used to ensure that images taken with the photo app and shared on twitter were displayed in people’s feeds. But over the weekend, it became impossible to integrate Instagram photos in tweets; the only way to share one now is by posting a link taking users to the Facebook-owned site. In a statement, Instagram’s chief executive Kevin Systrom said it was done to encourage people to use his website. “[Users can] engage with Instagram content through likes, comments and hashtags,” he said. “Now we believe the best experience is for us to link back to where the content lives.” Advertising revenue One social media expert told the BBC that the tit-for-tat action had been motivated by Instagram’s desire to make money. “It’s all about holding on to users, preventing them from spending too much time on rival social networks,” said Mark Little, principal analyst at Ovum. “[It's all about] potential eyeballs for advertising revenues. “So it’s interesting that this partnership that built up in the earlier days and benefited both parties was never permanent – because once they gain enough benefits from each other it becomes more like rivalry. “The next step is to get enough subscribers and to monetise them, to start defending their ecosystem from the past partners to stop themselves from losing users.” He added that since the integration between Instagram and Twitter was very popular among users, it now remained to be seen whether Facebook would introduce a Twitter-like functionality of its own. Flickr filters Following in its rival’s footsteps, photo-sharing service Flickr – which is owned by Yahoo – launched its own photo filtering service on Wednesday. A new version of its iPhone app contains 16 filters to alter the look of uploaded pictures. When compared to Instagram and Twitter, Flickr is a veteran of social networking. But while still a popular destination, particularly for serious photography enthusiasts, it has lost more casual users to the likes of Facebook. Flickr was bought by Yahoo in 2005 for a reported $35m (£22m). [img][/img] From. www.techiemagazine.com Online tech magazine. Samsung has been working on a flexible phone screen that bends and is nearly unbreakable while still being lightweight. What makes it even better is that it uses less battery power, which is one of the biggest complaints for any mobile device user. samsung flexible screen The screens are supposed to be ready for release in the early half of 2013 and are made from organic light-emitting diodes. This new design is being seen as Samsung’s way of staying competitive in a continually changing environment. The competition has been on creating higher resolution displays but flexible screens with less battery use would put Samsung in another category altogether. The Issues with Flexible Screens There is concern that the materials used to create these screens could expand and contract at different rates when they heat up or cool down, which could cause breaking or damage. There is also the issue with encapsulating the materials in the OLEDs because they degrade when they are exposed to air. Flexible encapsulation poses more issues than when working with glass. Samsung is not the first company to attempt to create a flexible screen. In fact, Sony demonstrated one back in 2010 and even Samsung had one to show last year. Manufacturing issues keep the companies from progressing. Besides a flexible screen, you will have to get flexible circuit boards and other components. It often takes several years to move new technology along to the point where it’s ready to show to the customer. Then you have to figure a way to get it mass produced, so even if Samsung does have something to show in 2013, customers probably won’t get to enjoy the benefits for a few years yet. However, it will still be fun to see how it works. Visit www.techiemagazine.com for the latest technology news.

With the first BlackBerry 10 phones set to be announced as well all eyes will be on the release of RIM’s all new operating system as it hopes to regain lost market share Techie Magazine BlackBerry 10 will be launched on January 30th along with two new BlackBerry 10 phones as RIM looks to claw back its position in the smartphone market. The all-new operating system is a complete departure from the BB OS of old with the company looking to create a fully touch optimised OS whilst still retaining the keyboard and email-focused attributes that the previous versions had. BlackBerry Flow is the new UI which allows users to seamlessly swipe between apps and menus without ever having to go back. This is then all centered around the Hub which can be accessed at any point and gives information on texts, calls, emails and more. Here’s what you’ll be getting if you decide to pick up the black iPad Mini once it launhces: A picture of the backplate is nice, but is there anything else? Thankfully tt.mop (vianowhereelse.fr) has pictures of the actual device in stunning clarity. Here are some of the more interesting shots of the device. As you can see, the iPad Mini is turning out to be quite the charmer. The slightly larger display size of 7.85-inches definitely helps it stand out among the other 7-inch tablets on the market. www.techiemagazine.com All you need to know about the Apple iPod touch 5, bigger screen, processor, new camera, etc The iPod Touch 7th Generation is now rocking the Apple A5 dual-core processor, giving it way more oomph than previous Touch models. This means you can expect performance on a par with the iPhone 4S, more than enough grunt to handle all the extra hardware and software than Apple have packed into the latest generation iPod Touch. Users should get up to 40 hours of music playback and 8 hours of video and also new connector, an improved 5mp camera with flash light, camera light, etc. According to Apple iPod head Greg Joswick, the iPod Touch is “the world’s most popular music player… but a lot of people don’t realize that it’s also the world’s most popular videogame player as well.” The proof is in the pudding – there are now 175,000 games available on Apple App Store, and 150 million active players in Game Center. Is that not awesome to say the least. with over 150 million active game players, it beats xbox, and othe vide game console around. Apple demo’ed Clumsy Ninja during their presentation, which was as much a tech demo as a game. You could shake your ninja around, tickle him and chase him around a screen, much like Nintendogs. But by Apple. And with ninjas. The demo game also featured swinging the ninja and preparing for a fight. The on board dual-core A5 processor should boost the new iPod Touch’s graphical capabilities sevenfold and in conjunction with the Clumsy Ninja tech demo, it’s clear that this device is extremely powerful. It could be more than powerful with the A5 processor as we already know what the A5 processor can do with the iphone 4s. The iPod touch is a light anodised aluminum and glass, with a brushed finish on the back. That means it cannot be scratched easily, so you won’t ruin your back cover. Speaking of paint, the new iPod Touch comes in five colours – raw aluminum, black, blue, yellow and red. This is totally awesome as you can play around with your favorite colors. Just 6.1mm thick, 88 grams in weight, Apart from a slightly squarer back, the Touch looks very much the same as before. But now it’s just 6.1mm thick, and it only weighs 88 grams. With the previous more thicker and heavier than that. As you’d expect, iOS 6 is native to the new iPod Touch and brings every one of it’s wide ranging features to the handheld device. That means that Siri also makes her arrival on the new Touch, with support for more languages, easy access to sports scores, restaurant recommendations, facebook and twitter posts and movie listings. The Siri for ipod touch makes use of available wifi around. In addition to the speaker on the bottom of the device, there’s a connector for Apple’s brand new Lightning adaptor. Oh, and a headphone jack, which should come in use for listening to stuff. And also, the camera for the new iPod is awesome. Featuring a new 5 megapixel backside illuminated, iSight camera with a five element lens and a sapphire crystal lens cover. You can record video at 1080p with video image stabilisation, whilst your picture taking will be aided by face detection, LED flash and auto-focus. In terms of software, the iPod Touch has the iPhone’s panorama feature built in, and movies and videos can be edited via iMovies and iPhoto. Pre-orders for the new iPod Touch open on Friday, September 14th, with the device going on sale in October. The 32GB will be sold for $299 (#47,000), and the 64GB model will come in at $399 (#62,000). Apple’s next iPhone is probably the most anticipated smartphone in history. Apple iPhone 5 News & Rumours: Release date, specs, price & features. Read on for all the latest on Apple’s next-gen smartphone, constantly updated. Apple fanboys: mark your calendars. Apple has emailed out a string of invitations to the media,(including www.techiemagazine.com) inviting them to a special event in San Francisco, California, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, sparking rumours that it plans to unveil a fresh batch of new devices – including the rumoured iPhone 5. As is often the case, the Cupertino firm has kept things simple. There’s no mention of the iPhone 5, or its suspected launch mate, the iPad Mini – only the number ‘12’ (for September 12) with the words ‘it’s almost here’ hovering above it and a number 5 as the reflection probably to indicate that it is goona be an iPhone 5- pictured above. The invite comes as fresh rumours emerge that the new iPhone will sport a larger screen, as well as a revised 19-pin dock connector. This here iPhone 5 rumours post has, over the months, changed to accommodate the ever-raging speculation spat out by the rumour mill. It’s hoped the event will finally put the gossip to an end. So there we have it folks: on September 12, we could be seeing a new iPhone, as well as a miniature version of the new iPad. The event will be held in San Francisco, and Techie Magazine is going to be streaming the event live and also via live feed on our website. Apple iPhone 5: Release Date The news above follows reports that Apple is gearing up to launch the iPhone 5 on September 12. AllThingsD believes the Cupertino-based firm could go one step further and release the rumoured iPad Mini during the same event. Previously, respected Japanese Apple blog Macotakara alleged that it had received word from “Asian sources” who claim that Apple will launch the device in September or October 2012, which would fit with last year’s arrival of the iPhone 4S. “According to Asian reliable source, next iPhone will be released in September or October, and this cycle seems to be kept for years,” read a translated portion of the report. If the article proves to be accurate, it would mean the company is returning to the 12-month launch cycles we saw for the first four versions of the popular handset device. Last year’s October iPhone 4S launch was the only time Apple has verged from the summer cycle, making users wait 15 months instead of the usual 12 for a new handset. While the iPhone 4S was more of an evolutionary upgrade, with a faster processor an improved camera and the addition of the Siri voice control app, the iPhone 5 is likely to bring a more revolutionary approach, perhaps with the addition of a 4G LTE internet and a larger screen size. Apple iPhone 5: Name Following the March launch of the new iPad, eports have suggested that Apple is to cease the numbered naming convention of its pocket blowers and move the market leading iPhone range in line with its Mac offerings which see multiple product overhauls occur whilst maintaining the same base name. “About two weeks ago we got a tip from a reliable source that Apple was going to call the iPhone 5 the new “iPhone,” according to Apple blog 9to5Mac. “That seemed a little nuts at the time but what a difference a Keynote makes. Apple chopped the suffix off if the iPad as part of a branding makeover that will likely expand. The report added: “Just like iMac is not called iMac 1,2,3 it looks like Apple won’t be doing the numbering on iOS devices (though it never did with the iPod touch).” Apple iPhone 5: Display Update: Apple has reportedly begun manufacturing on its rumoured iPhone 5 handsets. Reports suggest Sony has been working on display components for the Californian company’s next-gen smartphone since February – and will ramp up production on the panels at the end of this month. According to AppleInsider, the consumer electronics manufacturer is working in conjunction with other firms, such as Toshiba Mobile Display and LG Display Co, to roll out enough panels for the heavily rumoured device, expected to launch later this year. Stone Wu, a senior analyst at IHS Displaybank, said: “Even for those companies that start mass production in May, they can only reach an average yield of 65 to 70 per cent at present.” In a recent survey by VoucherCodesPro.co.uk the most asked for feature on the iPhone 5 was a stronger display, with the iPhone 4′s screen being notoriously easy to crack users are now hoping that Apple will use a much stronger display. Although there has been no official word on the iPhone 5’s screen size, rumours suggest growing competition and market pressures will see Apple introduce a new plus 4-inch model. These rumours have been backed up by a selection of industry analysts that have suggested Apple will be forced into the screen size overhaul as competition from rival handsets, such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, intensify. Speaking with T3, industry specialist Daniel Ashdown from tech analysis company Juniper Research suggested Apple may opt for a larger screen for the iPhone 5. He said: “It will be particularly interesting to see what the size of the display will be given that it has not changed thus far since the iPhone was launched with a 3.5-inch screen. “Competitors have increased their devices to up to 4.3″. We would be surprised if they [Apple] didn’t break from tradition this time and increase the size of the next model.” Contrary to these claims, other reports have suggested Apple will retain its 3.5-inch iPhone display for future handsets as a larger screen could disturb the iOS platform’s offering of apps.
