EducationRe: Boarding House Life by fredostika(m): 10:04pm On Sep 22, 2011
I attended FGC Abuja.
There was this immediate senior (house captain) that flogged me on my back and up till now, the scare is still in my back. And I graduated a long time ago.

What I still ponder upon till now is the level of organisation my school father's set had.
The atmosphere was so tense then.
They were like soldiers.
If the head boy entered the Dining room, immediately everyone would keep quite.
His subordinates (i mean other prefects of his set) would always come around and re-enforce absolute respect for the head boy. With their leather belt, they roam about saying "Absolute Silence!" And the head boy was seen as a figure to admire.
I really admired their set. Everyone, even the SS 2 students would shake and tremble at the sight of a very small SS 3 student.

That was my JS 1.

But My set, (that is when I reached SS3) I was so irritated, they could not even command an SS2 student to fetch water out of fear. And those that could would not even make sure thier mates were respected. I mean there was no cooperation and organization that when we were about to pass out, a muslim junior (SS2) almost beheaded my friend with a cutlass and the other SS2 students were against us just because one of us ALLEGEDLY flogged a teacher.

I also wouldnt forget my friends (now on facebook).

The world has truely turned around. Alexander the great saw the persians (arabs) as "evil", why? because they did not have the thinking of the greeks at that time so he fought for "justice". Now it is the other way round. Please God protect your own.

Psychology is needed to deal with these kind of people. By the way, is this a secret document?

Someone like me, I seek spirituality not religion. How can I get this please? can you help?
Christianity EtcRe: Why Africans Are Religious by fredostika(m): 12:42am On Sep 21, 2011
@ Availler,
You make sense. I had earlier said in this post that the whites have their own problem.
The poster really make sense and he really impressed me because the way nigerians are taking religion
But for me to be just and fair, I have come to believe that it is only a psychology attitude.
There is problem! real problem in Africa.
But is it being philosopical like tai solarin and Obafemi awolowo that will help the issue?
They both tried with their ideas and have failed and are both dead now without touching the lives of Nigerians with their atheistic beliefs and philosophical approach.(Although I subscribe to it).

ochukoccna:
Come and let us REASON together, etc
@ochukoccna, you said that you belief in the parts of the bible that make sense like come let us reason together.
True talk. That is what we need. A national dialogue to solve the countries problem.

ochukoccna:
Whether you agree or not, spirits surround us all& strange things happen
Again, true talk. It is quite unwise to be completely athiestic because one needs spiritual backup to excel. One needs to use

Anyone who is abusing Africans because they are religious is an enemy of africa. Maybe because you live in europe or USA. You are not irritated by suicidal behavour despite the "good living" condition of those places.
It is not only Africans that have a problem.
Yabbing Africa is not the solution to the psychological condition that they are in. I know your problem (talking about those that yab nigerians and africans in this NL); you dont want to look at the beauty in the way of life of our beloved africans. Yes, there is beauty in it. Appreciating the beauty in it will make you accept them. I am like fela in reasoning and thinking but I have accepted africa's way of life.
You can be religious and still live a prosperous envious life.

Men, I'm neutral.

I earlier read everything about the dude. His personality, e.t.c.
That guy is a genius. But some ghanians have started writing on his facebook wall, saying that they want him for US president. Nonsense.
Just because former UN secretary general is Ghanian and president Obama has visited Ghana as the only african country he has visited in his almost 3 year rule. Lol grin
I think that they should give cudos to us because we taught them the game grin.
You can type Kweku Adoboli in facebook. Comment is open to everyone.

The human mind is an imperfect and cannot impress man.

The Anglo-sax-ions (whites), apply reasoning to their every day life. The art of thinking and reasoning came from the greeks.
But reasoning shouldn't be a Greek thing, it should be universal. A parent should not beat their children because they didnt go to church or mosque. As someone said, people should be allowed to think for themselves.

Even Jesus would not be impressed by some christians.

I also agree with the person that said that religious leaders cart away with huge sums of money instead of given it to the poor.

Haven said that, come to think  of it, even the whites are mugus. Why is it that they do  not see our unclothedness. They hardly criticize africans for thier misguided aproach to life.
Why?
Simple, It is because they too are naked. This means that they have thier own psycological imbalance.  There are some misguided things that we do that they appreciate.
For example, a african woman curles her hair or perms it to look like a white womans hair.(as if they the whites are our Gods) But the whites dont see it that way. Instead they look at that (african) woman as a god. Like beyoncee. That is the problem you all see in africans but you never clear your eyes to see it in the whites.

Therefore, the human mind (of both africans and caucasians) is imperfect and cannot impress man.
PoliticsRe: Video Of Abuja Un Suicide Bomber Released By Boko Haram by fredostika(m): 4:59pm On Sep 19, 2011
Igosun:
I thought the poster is showing us the Video.
I agree with you. It's not an islam thing.

I see a nigeria united by these radical fighters.

And all these foreign bodies Like UN & Commonwealth are not tailored to help africa. For example, the last common wealth held in nigeria in 2003 just saw the leaders gathered. Nothing happened. The purpose of the meeting was not implemented. They just consumed our money. That is how UN is. They are just hear in Nigeria to pet our goverment that they are accepted among the "good nations".

Ok, someone should tell me what good UN has done to Nigeria?

And some of these foreign cultures being displayed by Nigerians shows the lack of value system in the country. We dont have respect for our own. We copy the americans in fashion and way of life and we do not remember our village life.
Yes village life because what else do we have to show the world if not about our own traditions and our values. Just like china is doing.

That is why I said that I see a united Socio-ethnicity (Nigeria) by BH.

how old is this person? Poster. Are u in kindergarten? U make no sense. Not one at all. Someone risked his life to look for peace, and you with your loud mouth sit behind your cheap computer to talk nonsense. What is your own antidote for Boko Haram? Nonsense.
My Broda some people are gifted in Speech while others are gifted in Violence. Let the these words inspire someone out there to become a revolutionist.

Nanai:
Someone just posted something and with no knowledge of what has really happened, you all jumped in and started arguing.
The family did not demand 100m. It was the court's rule. Pls read the full story before you continue with the argument.
Thank you very much nanai. Again, it was not the boko haram leader that was killed, it was the boko haram chief's relative that was killed.

I agree with the person that said that when two people fight, the grass suffers. Our government needs a fight. Ghadaffi visited USA and told them that he is no more into nuclear reactor activities, showing that he wanted the support of the US government. Is that not seen as a sign of loyality to the US? Yet, the "rebels" (freedom fighters) are fighting against him.

So wat is my point? Our governement is seen to always lick the ass of american governemnt, selling our oil to them at cheap prices and thereby generating insufficient funds for the country. Even you and I reason more than the government. We should bring the governemnt down and show them their unclothedness.

To me, Boko Haram is our freedom fighter.

True but how does he do it without money?
KunleOshob:
But the missionaries were able to provide [and still do] high quality free/ subsidized education to our parents and grandparents which has been a blessing to our generations unborn. ANd it was church funds that was used to build and maintain these instituitions. Today the what charlartans like Oledepo are doing is to profit from it after deceiving his church members to contribute to the project giving them the impression he was doing it for God, yet he can't even offer the real financiers of the school who gave sacrificially to the establishment of the conglomerate scholarship or subsidies to their children. I also hear he charges exhorbitantly in the school clinic / hostipals which form a part of his conglomerate eyt he claims to be doing God's work, does he read his bible at all[if he truly as one]? I laugh in ota tongues.
