1. Don't lend anyone money, just give the little you have to the person and tell him not to return it.
2. Don't fight over a woman let her go good one will come.
3. Don't have a land dispute with anyone, accept the boundaries as claimed by defendant. Me dey follow the rules now. Add yours So, if someone wakes up and grabs any of the plots of land i have suffered to get, i will just leave it for him? So that what will happen? For you to tribalise it suggests you haven't or someone who hadn't explained it to you. Yes, it has been ''brilliantly explained'' by the yoruba supporters of the bill. I don't need their explanations. Your last sentence presupposes i can't understand basic things by myself. That's absolute nonsense! Btw, what has Tinubu not tribalize in his administration?? How many Igbos are in his government, even where federal character is needed? Why do you guys always focus on those who follow the steps you have chosen, instead of on yourselves who took the wrong step in the first place? |

Zooposki: You are not from Niger delta. I read some of your old threads. Why do you guys like pretending to be us? Shut up, you annoying rat, Niger delta is not a geopolitical region. It's made up of 9-10 states, including Imo, Abia, Anambra, Ondo states, plus the 6states in the SS, which are oil producing states. SS is not equal to Niger delta region, it's just a part of it. You ediots are so dumb that you'll always leave your main enemies & battles to fight over insignificant battles. The Niger Delta is the delta of the Niger River sitting directly on the Gulf of Guinea on the Atlantic Ocean in Nigeria.[1][2] It is located within nine coastal southern Nigerian states, which include: all six states from the South South geopolitical zone, one state (Ondo) from South West geopolitical zone and two states (Abia and Imo) from South East geopolitical zone.
Map of Nigeria numerically showing states typically considered part of the Niger Delta region: 1. Abia, 2. Akwa Ibom, 3. Bayelsa, 4. Cross River, 5. Delta, 6. Edo, 7.Imo, 8. Ondo, 9. Rivers |

aswani: I am not even sure why any Southern or Middle belt politician will rally against this bold move.
I can see why Northern ones will scream and shout over it as their party is about to abruptly come to an end.
It will be tough and there must be a lot of political give and take before it hopefully goes through. It might even cost President Tinubu at the next elections sef.
Once it does though, the next step MUST be revocation of "oil blocks" especially those that Abacha and IBB were giving to people like Danjuma.
Sadly we have greedy Southern representatives on Abuja who will help scupper it fir their personal gain. Hopefully the electorate would wake up and start fighting back. I love your quip about dividing zero too. Which bold move? This is a yoruba-sponsored bill meant to feed their selfish interests, seeing that lagos and ogùn states genertate more VATs because of their strategic advantages/locations. This is not a bill you'll expect all southerners to support because they too, just like the north, will be victims of the reform. Lagos wants to keep all its huge VATs, which every Nigerian directly or indirectly contributes to, while at the same time partake in sharing the revenues generated from the natural resources in other regions. If the yorubas who are pushing for this bill are serious, they should go for full resource control. I'm sure they won't do that. |

DomPerignon: Olodo, the bill includes VAT as well and is based on a Supreme court ruling that states that vat is exclusive to states only. This headless goat still don't understand anything. You were talking about reducing corporate and income taxes to zero so that othet states won't share in it. And I'm telling you that VAT is what is being shared amongst the states, not the corporate and income taxes. Those taxes are not VAT and are not being shared or redistributed. Softmirror: Syrian rebels are being backed by the same people who will eventually call them a terrorist organization very soon. Do you guys follow events as they happen by reading about them or you just burst out from your toilets and make silly posts? The HTS group that's responsible for this recent push is already a recognized Sunni terrorist group, which branched off from Al Qaeda, and is backed by Turkey and Qatar which are Sunni countries. So, who did you think was supporting them? US? Israel?? The SDF group the US is backing, which is mostly Kurds, Druze, Yazidis, Christians, etc, is in Eastern Syria and is not involved in this recent war |

Throwback: The problem with a multiethnic country.
Tinubu will not shy away from the necessary reforms that Nigeria needs. He will not be cowed like Jonathan who feared for his 2nd term chances yet still lost the re-election.
If anything, the experience of Jonathan has motivated Tinubu to push for all the difficult reforms now in his 1st term.
A breast at hand is worth more than 2 in the bra of a beautiful lady you may never have.
Tinubu, squeeze the single breast you have now ooo.
E no go better for 2nd term blackmail. Why is he starting with the that will favour him? He wants to selfishly keep the VATs from SW for himself and still share in the revenue generated from the natural resources outside the SW Let him go for resource control, if he's serious. Lagos cannot hold the huge VATs it generates and still get a mega share from the crude oil revenue from the other states. |

Going to two years now since the removal of fuel subsidy we are yet to see a single positive impact rather than the negative effect which is seriously affecting majority of Nigerians.

DomPerignon: If the northern hawks and their Ibo minions kill this bill, then the next step is for tax generating states to reduce corporate and income tax to zero.
Let them divide zero and give it to the north and yeast and focus on other taxes that can't be touched by the FG such as tennament rate , environmental tax , etc. Onye iberibe, what is being shared is VAT, not corporate and income taxes which go straight into the respective states' IGR If you reduce your state's non-VAT taxes to zero, na you go suffer am nah. I'm not even talking about the poor or middle class,I'm talking about the rich who could afford all the healthcare facilities. It's the circumstances surrounding the death she was talking about, not that people don't die abroad Oxygen wouldn't be removed from a patient abroad, even if she's being transferred to another hospital In fact, it's mandatory for every health facility to have a functional ambulance with resuscitation equipment and adequate oxygen while transferring patients, in the company of a competent Nurse +/- a Doctor as the case may be |

On your own as a people and without FG's money and investments, what have you been able to do for yourselves in your region?? The stupid tribalistic politics of using Nigeria's money to develope yoruba and Fulani lands, while marginalising the Igbo land, is the singular reason the guy you're referring to can travel to your tegion. I think Ndume is fighting for us the masses. Tinubu lied that removing subsidy will bring relieve to us but for over a year what we are facing is severe hardship, hunger and instability. Same Tinubu promised that after removing subsidy on power energy, we will have stable power supply but reverse is the case, our national grip has collapse and fall yakata more than 100 times since then. The energy fee is now up that many of us cannot even afford to buy unit on our prepaid meter while people on postpaid are now nursing HBP over energy bill.
