Proudlyngwa: Homosexuality and aiding homosexuals is a crime in Nigeria punishable by 14 and 10 year jail sentence respectively.
Homosexuality is a sin in the bible, Once again I don't care what people do with their lives, what am saying is their should be no selective punishment because of status of people involved. And stop using grace to justify wrongdoing. Whatever be the case anyways, it should be a crime arresting someone for homosexuality instead but it's Nigeria, so I understand the level of ignorance therein. I don't care what the bible says, so that part no concern me. |

thorpido: It depends on what brought about the love.Did he fall in love because of her physical features and did she fall in love because of his financial status and physical appearance? If that is an issue, things might change with time. If however they fell in love after they had developed a friendship first,it's usually strong enough to sustain them. Can it be called love when it is based on physical appearance or money? Even if they were friends before it happened, friends are subject to change, so... |

Proudlyngwa: Wrong am not judging her for what she did as I don't care what she does with her body. That's her biz. My gross is against the Nigerian govt, which have an anti-gay law and if they don't act on this case, the should release all gays in their detention as that will be selective judgement if they don't.
Secondly all those people claiming who is without sin blablabla are all hypocrites if they quote the bible. Did she commit the act knowingly, yes. Give her a shoulder to cry, I don't care . But pls leave the bible out of this. She knowingly and willingly committed a sin. Let her face the consequences including public ridicule So tell me, is it a crime to be gay in Nigeria or to contract gay marriage in nigeria? Then there's the bigger issue of who's right it is, to say what a "sin" is. |

Proudlyngwa: Stop consoling yourself with that nobody holy pass. She did it for cash not for love as far as am concerned she is a love-vendor who willingly and knowingly committed an act and deserves no pity.
did she think of the implication on her family name, freinds colleagues, church members, there is no difference between her and a IndecentStar.
and yes am a confirmed sinner, the difference is I acknowledge my sin admit am wrong and face the consequences. So what if she did it for cash? Which family name? It's her family name supposed to be part of the deal? If people had common sense, would they judge others for something they well do, or even do worse of? Mschew |

Sometimes I really hate Nigeria, what is the crime in someone doing with her body what she wants, in her privacy?
Then there's the fact that most of the people condemning her are worse, mschew. |

AZeD1: Why would I be kidding? Marriage is a life time commitment and there's no price for early marriage. I seem to no be getting what your point really is, help me please. I'd just really like to know how wanting to get married at 29, translates to not loving him, only wanting the "Mrs" title. |

OlajumokeBread: Why wouldn't she dump you when you act and think like a 5 year old kid ??
If she wants to dump you, that's fine, did you two sign a contract that you must marry her ?? Married couple who were married for 40 years do get divorced and move on with their lives and you're here crying about a girl you don't even know her her parents
What are you gonna do about it ?? Go to your room, cry about it, eat some ice cream and watch cartoons
You are the reason why some women do this nonsense shiit to some men because you're soft and emotional
Why would a man be financially stable before he can marry ??
Why can women be financially stable and marry those financially unstable guys ??
Let me tell you the naked truth, she doesn't love you and this is how God wanted it to happen, you will remember about this incident in the next 20 years from now and just laugh
Stop crying like a little girl and man up
I pity any girl that would dump me or think that she broke my heart because i don't give a flying and running fucck
There are millions of good girls out there you can marry and avoid unnecessary trouble
Men can get any girl in the world
Beyonce married Jay Z Nicki Minaj is dating Meek Mill Nick Canon married Mariah Carey
You can marry any girl you want @ Emboldened. Yet OP is the one behaving like a child. |

My cousin was jobless when he got married to his wife, two years after he found a job and they are still together.
You even have a job, plus your woman seems to love you, if you are sure she respects/believe in you, then just go ahead, I understand your worries but with the right person, you can be happy. |

thorpido: The question is why did the person fall in love in the first place and are they conditions(which may have made the person fall in love in the first place)that could change over time?
Don't let it the reason be the booty. Thing is, due to popular belief, there shouldn't be conditions in love, therefore a person is love, isn't supposed to change, regardless of what their partner become. I don't see how that is possible, which is why I'm starting to rethink this whole love thing. |
Family › Re: Do You Really Love The Person You Married? by freecocoa(f): 7:35pm On Oct 26, 2016 |
raumdeuter: Thats why IMO getting married because of "Love alone" a feeling is not enough. Having common goals and mutually agreeable principles is even more important I think I actually agree with you, love is not enough, but then people always change, therefore I guess sometimes(if not most) we can't really say what will happen in a marriage. |

One of the best things to happen to a girl, is, to have some self respect, so long as he has a woman, just leave it alone, haba! I made it a rule, never to get involved with a man in a relationship, I can't even feel for you knowing there's another girl to start with, that's just really desperate and low as far as I'm concerned. He told you, yet you ignored it, why would you even expect a man to leave his woman for you? I'm sorry but I don't like women like you, you are not a nice person, you didn't even care about the feeling of his girlfriend, smh. Anyways, what's done is done, if you have any form of love for yourself, you'd call it quits and move on with your life, you made your bed, now you have to lie on it. I don't know your stance on abortion but if you do decide to have the child(like I think you should), it may turn out to be one of the best decisions you ever made. |
