On a more practical level, there are dozens of programs that allow ordinary citizens to be seen for their talents. Top Chef? Sure. American Idol? If you must. X Factor? I’ve never seen that, but what the hell.
I just want to be clear that I don’t hate reality television.
But I do hate the Kardashians, because I’ve never seen any good reason not to. I have watched them snipe at one another, and wander around swilling from champagne glasses, and attempt ear candling experiments and snipe at each other some more, and I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t find all of that a little bit repulsive. I’m not sure we’re to commend people for “putting it all out there” any more than we should commend someone for taking a shit in the middle of a stranger’s living room. Any magazine or talk show ,or Co that sponsors The talentless, uneducated, oversexed, moneygrabbing Kardashians should be banned from television and the media as they are encouraging this rotten and digusting. Family to have a bad and disgusting influence on our children and the people of America and the world at large? There is enough rubbish in this world already we do not need ,this disgraceful lot putting ideas into our children's heads . As for KIm the pornographic queen of sex .it is amazing that she has not contacted aids yet. Dump this family now.

This show is such an unbelievable show as far as what people do in their daily lives. One of the most disappointing aspects of this show proved out to be that Bruce was not that interested in the lives of his two sons and now he is letting momager Kris do the same things to their daughters. Kim has the mind of a 16 yr old, Kourtney has her head together as does Khloe,, but unfortunately I believe there will never be wedding bells for Ms. Kim (and thank God for Kanye that does not happen as I believe he's not that stupid) and unfortunately for Khloe I think that Lamar has had it also with the great momager and will probably divorce for the same reason any man would in the case of this show growing very old on everyone (except of course Queen Kris. Just a note, if I were You Bruce I would try a little harder to make a better impact on your own children and get them into the REAL WORLD to at least make them be achievers of what they really want out of life instead of KRIS I WANT THINGS MY WAY. OWERRI—Sequel to Imo State government’s acknowledgment of the receipt of Federal Government’s bailout fund, the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, Most Rev. Anthony J. V. Obinna, has again challenged Governor Rochas Okorocha to publish the state’s financial statement.
Chief OkorochaArchbishop Obinna, who repeated the demand while fielding questions from journalists in Owerri, wondered why it was taking the governor such a long time to publish the state account for public consumption.
The fiery Catholic cleric challenged journalists to invoke the Freedom of Information Act, and force the governor to release the document.

Little Galip, five, and Aylan Kurdi, three, were on an overcrowded dinghy filled with refugees fleeing the war in Syria when it capsized shortly into the crossing to the Greek island of Kos.

Pictures of Aylan’s limp body in the sand and of it being carried by a local gendarme has come to epitomise the crisis engulfing Europe as a tide of humanity flees the horrors in the Middle East.

Another mother was pictured grief-stricken after losing two of her children, aged nine and 11.Aylan and Galip, who were not wearing lifejackets, did not stand a chance when the boat overturned in the dead of night, some 30 minutes after it set off from the holiday resort of Bodrum in Turkey.

All 16 passengers were flung into the Mediterranean, and despite the calm water, Galip and Aylan drowned.

Their lifeless bodies, still clad in tiny T-shirts and shorts, washed up on the beach in Bodrum today and boatmen alerted the authorities.

A heartbreaking photograph of a Turkish gendarme cradling one of the boys in his arms emerged shortly after the tragedy and video footage showed the body of the second.

In Ekiti State, the civil servants are smiling because they are paid up to date.

The South African city of Durban has been selected as the host for the 2022 Commonwealth Games at the Federation’s general assembly in New Zealand on Wednesday.
The coastal city was the only bidder for the multi-sports event after the Canadian city of Edmonton withdrew from contention in February, citing falling oil prices.

Organisers said the Games would be held from 18 to 30 July, opening on the birth date of the late South African President and anti-apartheid hero Nelson Mandela.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome the South African city of Durban as proud hosts of the 22nd Commonwealth Games,” the outgoing CGF president Prince Tunku Imran said. “As a movement we stand together to support the very first games on African soil.”

The Commonwealth Games are held every four years and feature athletes from over 50 countries, mostly former British colonies. First held in 1930, 2022 will mark the first time the Games will be held in Africa, a move that could pave the way for South Africa to make another attempt for the Olympics after Cape Town finished third in bidding for the 2004 summer Games.
“We are ready to host the Commonwealth Games for the first time on African soil,” CGF vice-president and South African Olympic Committee president Gideon Sam said.

“The fundamental premise of our submission is that the Games will provide the opportunity at both an economic and social level in particular the development and inspiration of young people not only in South Africa but the rest of the Commonwealth.

“Youth empowerment sits as the core of our legacy programme, a legacy that will begin with your awarding of the Games.”

The CGF evaluation commission recommended in July that Durban should be awarded the Games but also expressed some concerns about possible funding shortfalls and the approach organisers were taking to financing and developing venues.

It also sought guarantees on the risk associated with the construction of the athletes village, which is being built as part of a wider urban development scheme to address housing shortages in the wider-Durban area.

The next Commonwealth Games will be held on the Gold Coast in Australia in 2018.
