MT: The US pulled out because they were losing men and got frustrated. Afghanistan was unwinnable for them. You don't know your stuff. US hadn't lost a single soldier in the year leading up to the pull out. Not one! |

BodePolScience: You're the one talking out of premium ignorance. Kidnapping an incumbent country's president in his very own country in a single operation that's not up to two hours. Haba, cut me the slack!
And no causality at all on the US side. Is the Venezuela military that daft
Imagine, kidnapping Tinubu and his wife in a single night operation Though we're third world country, but it can't happen easily like that. So how do coups happen? How did Babangida kidnap Buhari - an incumbent president in his own country??! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Photo Of Captured Venezuelan President, Maduro by FreeIgboho: 7:01pm On Jan 03 |
MT: Don't be like this.
Even if someone kills you today (God forbids) , some people will celebrate. I am talking of the real players who will fight to the death Afghanistan is a much tougher country with suicide bombers, how come nobody "fought to death" until US decided to pull out because they were wasting too much resources occupying it? |

lenghtinny: You may be right since they didn’t dump firearms in the hands of the wrong people this time around.
That Libya matter is the reason I’ll never be a fan of Obama and his foreign policies while in power…
US can’t be running another country forever, the dynamics will change at some point and it won’t be much different from the Afghanistan story because it won’t end well just like Iraq… Afghanistan is a God-forsaken hard terrain that nobody has ever gained anything occupying. Venezuela is not like that, plus Venezuela had oil! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Photo Of Captured Venezuelan President, Maduro by FreeIgboho: 6:49pm On Jan 03 |
MT: There was no coup. It was an invasion by the US.
You will see how this will play out. Venezuelans will not allow Trump to steal their oil. Not if they went from poor to rich, which the will. See below

Russia already tried in Ukraine and we've seen the result! |

MT: Especially from Columbia who have perfected the art of Guerilla fighting. If Trump thinks it will be as easy as he made it sound, he should think again.
Now the real war starts. Yeah? Where were they all the time he was saying he'd do just this? Mind you there was no war. This was a military coup. Do militias spring up after military coups? |

Another from “ frying pan to fire “ story but unlike Ghadaffi, this Maduro guy had to go with his nepotistic government Not really. US learnt a lesson with Libya. They'd be running Venezuela and their oil directly. It is not Afghanistan that has nothing and they were wasting massive resources occupying for nothing |

stanluiz: They just captured him like a common criminal. Very easy and simple.
CIA must have infiltrated his government. One of his key allies in government sold him out. That's why it was easy for US to capture him so easily. Not really. Trump is currently giving a press conference, describing the dramatic way he was captured. That he built a fortress and was surrounded by a special military unit. Trump hinted at a new weapon that was used to disable everything including electricity and communication, isolating Mudoro and rendering command impossible! Trump also said US will now be running Venezuela and their massive oil reserves - and Venezuelans are jubilating about it!

ernieboy: I expected you to counter me with facts, fyi crimea was annexed in 2014, Russian build of military started late 2021 and the invasion commences 2022. That means since 2014, Ukraine along with it's European allies had been building up weapon to go against Russia. President Trump is currently giving a press conference, describing the dramatic way Mudoro was captured. He built a fortress and was surrounded by a special military unit, they were READY! Yet non of that could save him. Trump has announced US will now be running Venezuela directly, not through a stooge. What Putin hasn't been able to do in decades US has done in one day!😅

ernieboy: help came later, guy u are really stupid, ukrain that has been preparing for war with Russia after the annexation of crimea by Russia. The former German chancellor angella Merkel even admitted in a an interview that the initial peac agreement that ukrain had with Russia was just a ploy to enable Ukraine along with it's European allies prepare for war with Russia. The link to that interview is below please read up and stop displaying ignorance on a public forum. If your next reply displays this level of ignorance I won't reply u, lemme have time for more informed posts. https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2022/12/22/ffci-d22.html You must really think very little of people on this forum. Otherwise how can you assume that they have all forgotten how the whole world was kissing Putin’s ass as he was amassing massive troops at Ukraine's border, begging him that Ukraine was no match for Russia. Putin was a god and if he had not invaded and exposed how inferior Russia's military was, he'd have stayed a god to the world. People like you on this forum were saying the "military operation" (NOT war, according to Putin) would be over within a week with Russians in Kiev. You have developed amnesia about all that! |

And if you are not very stupid you'd know that help only came later, that Russian massive army being bogged down on their march to Kiev had nothing to do with help! |

Same thing Russia wanted to do and hasn’t been able to do in 4 years! Putin even gave out a list of names of people to be arrested including Zolenski. That's why it's not good to talk too much |

E b lyk say Nigerian men no dey hear word And this is why you don't have xenophobia against Igbos in Yoruba land: they leave Yoruba women alone. Nothing produces hatred like trying to take a man's women. Also the reason for racism and "black-men-must-be-kept-down" syndrome - white women preferred black men! |

Celebrities › Re: Nigeria Safer Than US – American Rapper, DDG by FreeIgboho: 1:45pm On Jan 02 |
Jakumo: Having spent enough years residing in America and in Nigeria, I disagree 100% with the opinion expressed by this rapper who claims that the USA is more dangerous than Nigeria. If the rapper had claimed that GHETTOES in America are more dangerous than Nigeria, his statement would be factual due to the prevalence of "Saturday Night Special" cheap and disposable $50 handguns in most American ghettoes, where the gang and drug culture has decimated generations of semi-educated black Americans.
From coast to coast USA, the odds of falling victim to gang violence drop off steeply as soon as one leaves the inner-city ghetto, and moves into any middle class suburb, even if that safe haven is just a few blocks from the ghetto's boundary lines.
In Nigeria, however, there is NO "safe neighborhood" because kidnappers and armed robbers can strike anywhere and any time, against any and all Nigerian citizens who cannot afford to have armed police guards. When driving along any highway in Nigeria, the risk of getting ambushed and kidnapped that is prevalent all over Nigeria, simply does NOT exist in ANY American city or rural area.
Unless one is wealthy and connected enough to charter helicopters for routine inter-city travel in Nigeria, literally ANY road trip could wind up becoming a one-way trip into hell. The absence of any such ambush danger along ALL highways in the USA , taken as a single factor of consideration, makes Nigeria orders of magnitude more dangerous than any part of America, including the Deep South.
More than likely, the American rapper visiting Nigeria spent his entire holiday in an up-scale area like Lekki or Victoria Island in Lagos, and on noting that there was no gunplay as is a normal occurrence in American ghetto night clubs, concluded WRONGLY that the entire nation of Nigeria must be safer than his ghetto "hood" stateside. Many things that happen in normal daily life (like neighbors fighting or police encounters or bumping into someone on the street) which country do you think will lead to shooting? Aidoko2: Tell me any local government where I should go and leave in USA that is Dangerous than Chibok in Borneo state. This guy is an APChit rapper He's a rapper. I googled life expectancy of a rapper in USA. See the answer below. Compare to life expectancy in Chibok
