Dem go still lost out. They can't try it with Israel and be in peace. Israel's survival is of the Lord.

The foundation of the throne of God is righteousness and justice says Ps 89:14. Any party in this war that is unjust will lose las las.

Israel had once lost out and chased out competely. They were resettled their in the 1940s. It's just unfortunate and heartbreaking that there is no end in sight to the deadly hostilities. It's really sad that children in that part of the world are raised with so much injustice, hate and blood letting.

We must not give up but keep praying for peace. None of the two parties is even a Christian group so I don't get the attempt to make it a Christian or religious war.

The truth will set you free! He is not like you still lying that your principal who came a distant 3rd in a credible election is the winner of the election.

It is because he admitted his crime was why he got 6 months, his case didn't linger and legal bills not mounting.

The Governor can pardon him tomorrow if he remains penitent and truthful wink Lying means nothing to the mediocre political camp of Mrs Aisha Yesufu. They believe lying will help them win an election and no wonder she believes that lying can help the defendant escape justice. Smh.

Awon opuro gbogbo. All liars will die and end up in hell here on earth and fire in heaven.

It could be a difficult decision but Bobrisky did the right thing and has learnt from his mistakes and conviction. He showed an admirable character and I am proud of him for being truthful. The true test of character is where you stand in difficult situations, he showed great character.

More details about the late Jnr Pope’s wife, Qute Jay, have emerged online following his tragic death.

A nurse took to TikTok to share a video of the young widow and added that she was unconscious following her man’s death. The video sparked a series of heated reactions on social media, with netizens blasting the nurse for invading their privacy.

This is highly unprofessional and requires immediate investigation by her professional body. If found culpable she should be appropriately sanctioned.

The rest is mere formality, this is the biggest hurdle for him to cross.

Onu, a former governor of Abia State, died after a brief illness in an undisclosed hospital in Nigeria.

Recall that the late 72-year-old former minister contested for the presidential flag of the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the 2023 general election, but lost to President Bola Tinubu.

He has to wait his turn.
With all this his shenanigans, he thinks people won't make issues for him too when its his time abi

He is a minority here
He can only have his say , can't have his way.
He for no go withdraw the court cases now.

My joy is that Makinde has seen that this man just like making trouble and has since distanced himself from him. How can only you behave as if you are Wiser than everybody
Please what did he do or say wrong? That you are in majority doesn't mean that you are right. Some people just do follow follow without a mind of their own. I have not seen anything wrong in his position. He is not a pushover and you need a superior argument to defeat him not blackmail nau. Haba

Power really does intoxicate, so even after spending years as governor, he still wants to remain relevant this wanting to be the next olubadan hmmmmm I wish him well
The Olubadan has been his ultimate ambition and joined the queue decades even before he became a Governor. The Olubadan is his ultimate prize.

It's almost his time but not yet his turn. He will one day become the Olubadan and it will be historic because that will be the first time that a former democratically- elected Governor will become the Olubadan if not the first time a former democratically- elected Governor becomes a First Class Oba in Nigeria.

His position is clear enough that you can not have any other crown in Ibadan apart from the Olubadan and he rejected the crown the Governor gave him while other high chiefs collected it.

Very good. The Nigerian Government will give the Ogunbanjos all the support too.

That helicopter company must be held to full account. If they love to waste the lives of their own citizens, too bad for them, but the Ogunbanjos of Erunwon, Ijebu Ode, will have none of it.

It's so upsetting how they kill people in helicopter crashes in the US and just move on as if it's normal to waste lives. It's alien to us here in Nigeria o. We value lives and family from where we come from.

Eriokanmi:

Please calm down sir. Google bawo? Smh. From late Oba Faronmbi whose palace was down the AUD college road adjoining Panada to late Oba Goloba whose Palace was directly opposite AUD to now departed Oba Agbabiaka whose Palace used to be inside Ago and later moved to his current palace opposite Akinbaye street, please which of these Osolos did not have another contestant when they contested for the Osolo throne? None yet they reigned over everyone including their fellow contestants for the throne. This is not like it is done for your revered Olubadan throne where the next in line is known for certain, in this succession process, there is contest with other Princes.

My point is that when you raised that he was not the genuine one, you implied that he was an impostor, it is disrespectful, shows that you are an outsider and it's because of your hatred for Asiwaju Tinubu. How you turned a thread that mourns Kabiyesi's passing to opportunity for you to describe him in condescending tone is completely objectionable and alien to Awori, Lagos and even the general Yoruba culture. I doubt if you are even Yoruba!
I will no longer respond to your messages so please forgive me if it displeases you.

One of those Tinubu's boys installed during his tenure as governor. The one who was to be genuinely installed was sidelined. He's still alive and well. We dey see things for Lagos. Anyway RIP to him.
Smh. This is very unfortunate and disrespectful. Sometimes, when I read disparaging comments that diminish the dead like this, I just wish people who type comments like yours live for ever and don't die.

Then Prince Agbabiaka was a prominent figure in the royal family and when he was chosen and crowned among all the others, he became the Kabiyesi to all and sundry including those who contested the post with him.

He reigned for about 20 years and if he's not the choice, he would not have enjoyed the support of the people. You even indicted yourself by suggesting that there's one who is meant to be when it's not the position of Olubadan.

After Oba Goloba passed on, there was no rancor in the selection of Oba Agbabiaka, it's our prayers and hope that the process through which the next Kabiyesi will emerge will be peaceful and rancor free too.
Aworiland just lost a very prominent Kabiyesi. Be sensitive nau.

lexy2014:

how do you know that she is regretting anything?
Please read the reliefs the lawyer is seeking. Those reliefs she is seeking came late and it came regrettably after the Army got the court warrant/ judgement.

If she had acted soon enough, the Nigerian Army would not have gotten the court to declare her AWOL and issue that warrant of arrest against her. That's what the lawyer is fighting to lift and unfortunately the FHC Judge didn't lift it and it will not be lifted in NIC despite the huge and piling avoidable legal bills she will pay for long years, probably up to the Supreme Court , while she remains disadvantaged as a fugitive and outlaw.

She's in a weak legal position against the state because she will be spending a lot of money filing/ appealing the case against the state with her limited rights as a fugitive running from the law and not the state fighting her adversary on her behalf. It's a bad place and only truly educated people can understand the gravity of the problem she is in. She can be placed on interpol list if she's not already on the list sef and fighting now to get herself off the list or being arrested and deported to Nigeria to face the justice system.
