TonyeBarcanista, when you created this thread did you ever imagine it would reach this many pages and garner this many comments and views? You have really outdone yourself here I must say. Obviously there are hidden but very deep but not so nice sentiments and probably bad blood between Kenyans and Nigerians.


This must be the longest thread ever to grace Nairaland and ever will grace Nairaland (except maybe when I decide to open one with a South African theme or Ghanian theme)


It's just so sad that Africans are at their best when they are tearing each other down.


To the average white person out there Africa is just a big country where its inhabitants live on trees and take a dump in the bush. They'll never know the difference, not because we aren't different, but because they don't care.


And they are right not to care. The developments going on in Africa as we speak is mostly powered by the Americans, the Chinese, the Indians, the Lebanese and so on.
As Kenyans are not saying that we are the best.We even admit when the stats are not on our side.Nigeria calling itself the Giant of Africa is laughable.We have countries in Africa which more better systems and life experiences than Nigeria eg SA or Egypt.







All we do is take out of the system and wait for the system to replenish itself or wait for the Whites to replenish it for us.


All African countries bear the brunt of poor and mediocre leadership and even poorer and more mediocre followership.

So excuse me if I laugh at this attempt by nationals of both country to tear each other down using infrastructure conceived and probably put up by the White man.


I think this foolishness has gone on for too long. I propose this thread be closed.

forgive my curiosity, what's d essence of cargo trains meeting cargo ships in d ocean when the ship can dock at d port or wharf and unload it's content to d waiting cargo trains??
Whats d safety measure in place when loading and unloading?? What about the cranes, where will it be to load n unload?? What about humans, where will they be to perform their duty??

Is the govt building another platform on d ocean to smoothly stimulate the operation??
