I am sick and tired of this strike. almost every year ASUU would go on one strike or the other. Even the goverment who claim to be after NIgerians welfare look the other way.
It is really upsetting for one to hear billions have been misappropriated. wheras for this so called government of to people to administer an increase in lecturers salary, it keeps increasing the pockets of those rich fools who call themselves honourables or senators. how are they honourables when they keep greedy. Imagine the increasing their budget by about 13%. Its absurd. They very wicked and stingy. Thats why I liked fela he always told the truth unlike most Nigerian musician who are merely scychophants. Nigerians should learn to fight for their basic rights, more grease to your elbows Niger-delta revolutionist

Going by my own estimations, I guess Nigeria has lost zillions to corrupt leaders. I say zillions because some of the looting are unaccounted for. I read in the papers that Igbinedion looted 21 billion naira from his state. but when taken to court he opted for plea bargaining. he only paid 2.1million back. Isnt that playing on our intelligence? To me all these people in government are only out to enrich thier pockets. From the President, minister of justice to governors, I guess are all working for Obansonjo. Yet we still voted them in. Or how would you explain a minister of justice desperate to take over the the office of the efcc, or trying to shield Igbinedon from public trial. Yet Nigerians cant talk, we win worlds happiest people now and then. we only shout our leaders are corrupt, but we still vote them in. WHY?
