ednut1: Last year I bought a ticket from Toronto to london via dublin i was not allowed to board due to my Nigerian passport. Dublin is not part of UK so you need a visa The same thing happened to me last year. I had to book an expensive British Airways on the spot at Pearson Airport because I needed to fly. I learnt my lesson after that experience. |

Vivalove: FEYI Daniel is a fraudster well know and alot of persons are still looking for him in Benin City till today. Where he established an investment firm LEADWEALTH LIMITED at CITY TRADE CENTRE (MTN office) along akpakpava road Benin City. Where alot of persons were defrauded and their hard earned money vanished into thin air when FEYI DANIELS eloped with people's money in tune of millions of naira till today. The case was reported to Nigerian police (ZONE 5) Benin City by then staffs of the establishment whose life were at stake due to threat from different investors. Several attempt was made by the Nigerian Police from Benin to OGUN/Lagos to arrest him but to no avail. The case is still with the Nigeria police ZONE 5 till date. He perfects his plans always pretending to be a pastor. Then he was with DAYSTAR. He owe/defrauded me and my family members till date. I have been looking for him and I was surprised to read this about him this evening. Until he pays up what he owe people he will continue to.... I still have one on one contact with his former employees Taiwo niyi etc.... This was the exact comment I was looking for. I was one of those he defrauded back then. I lost over 100k to his scam in 2010. It was such a huge pain for me back then. A friend lost over 400k. We were all students in Uniben at the time. Feyi Daniels was doing his MBA in Uniben at that time. I was very such to see he has rebranded and trying to use the Obidient movement to gain popularity. He has always been a fraudulent person. Nemesis is catching up with him. |

And guys, don't forget about the great movie ANIKULAPO, also BAD COMMENTS.
You won't regret watching those two movies. I'm yet to see BAD COMMENTS but ANIKULAPO isn't worth the hype in my opinion. The production and location are great but the storyline is just an ordinary tale by moonlight, it lacked cohesion and cohesiveness. |

Interesting! I'm quite surprised.
Similar to a guy I met in Montreal, Canada a few weeks ago. He's originally from Senegal but he told us he's planning to relocate to Nigeria.
I was like, what's your motivation? He said he has heard lots of wonderful things about Nigeria and he believes he will do well there.
I just wished him well. |
Romance › Re: I'm About To Break Up With My Girlfriend Because Of This by friend2Macron: 5:40pm On May 10, 2022 |
victooman: Please help advice me,
We both finished our NYSC service last year, luckily enough we started a POS business and as God will have it, we are both doing well, we both make a minimum of 5k at least on daily basis.
The main problem is that of recent she is talking about applying for her masters degree, l told her what is the essence of going for masters degree when the degree we obtain has not been any useful to us, why not expand this particular business, be financially stable before you start talking about masters, beside we need to build our self financially well if we have to settle down.
She told me that is her long time ambition and she is not expecting any money from me, she left my house this morning with anger.
Please Nairalanders, did l do anything wrong? What is the best way to handle this issue? After NYSC I decided to do my Masters. I wasn't financially stable at that time but I decided to do it regardless. I recall an undergraduate classmate saying something similar to what you told your girl, he said the first degree hasn't yielded anything why am I wasting my time/resources doing a second degree. Long story short, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I won't be where I am today if not for the Masters degree. Like they say, it's better to be prepared and not have an opportunity than to have an opportunity and not be prepared. In my opinion, I don't think this is enough reason to end a relationship except you have other reasons. |

We called him F D. He used forex trading investment to dupe people, made students collect money to the tune of millions.
And he claimed to be a campus fellowship pastor of Daystar then.
And then he disappeared.
Rest on ,young Lad
I'm sure you didn't set out to lose people's money reason you couldn't live with yourself.
It's a harsh world !! Exactly the first thing that came to my mind when I started reading. That experience was so painful. Feyi Daniel (F.D.) was the pastor of Daystar Campus Fellowship at the time (2009). I lost 130k, my friend lost 450k. |

Pipsbasketings: Yes, that's what I use. Sequel to my previous post, oanda is not a market maker, they in fact want to see you succeed in the business.
Here is a catch: you don't base in Naija, right? cos I know for sure the broker does not accept Nigerian residents.
You're right, I'm not in Naija. Oanda was first recommended to me on Reddit and I was further convinced when I saw you're using it. |
Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by friend2Macron: 6:18pm On Nov 13, 2020 |
Pipsbasketings: The bolded: You have made the biggest move - standing on the shoulders of giants. This is (I strongly believe) the very 1st step in Risk/Money Management. In fact, your broker (if a market maker) may not be happy with you that you chose this leverage amongst many.
2nd Step: Your lot size. I wish you could mention what your capital or equity is (BUT DON'T); do your homework before you start trading!!! surf your broker's website and dig into their margin requirements for each pair. Determine how much margin is required to enter each pair, then calculate how much free margin and margin level (in %) you will have left after entering a trade.
Use that to determine how many pairs you can enter all at a time - don't overtrade.
Then determine how much pips you are willing to lose, how much free margin will be taken away from the lost pips, how much margin level will remain after the loss (you want to make sure it doesn't go below 100% to be safe), you want to know how much pips lost will give you a margin call. etc.
3rd Step (Actually the 1st): A believed working strategy, backtesting, forward testing using demo, then you are set for success
Finally, pls note that you will record losses, for sure (be prepared for it), the question is: how many trades will you lost that will send you back to demo.
Finally, always note that: a missed trade is better than a lost trade
Wishing you success Wowww! Thank you so much. So much wisdom in a single post. I'm gonna frame this and always remind myself of it. By the way, I'm using oanda, I think that's the same broker you're using. |

Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by friend2Macron: 11:32pm On Nov 02, 2020 |
meshpips: Yes, it is very safe. With this leverage, you will require about $333.33 of equity to open a mini lot (0.10 lot size) position.
This higher margin requirement for your trades will help you mitigate against over trading on your account which in turn will help the account take a longer time before implosion as compared to one with a 500:1 leverage or even higher.
All the best! Thanks boss! I was actually thinking the higher the leverage the better. Thanks for the explanation. |
