fitzmayowa:Look Kamsy well well. If you guide, you go dey push dat kain girl 600k a month? Haba! |
safarigirl:Watch how Ricky is watching him with an amused look like "I used to be as silly as this kid years ago". Sheba is beginning to think she might have made a mistake indulging the boy . |
safarigirl:Men have gone 6ft under in the process of trying to find this type of female validation. |
safarigirl:It's not always about yapping. Yeah shouting down people can make you look macho and impress the females, which is going well for Araga, but what if Cassi decides "To hell with 160m" and whip Araga senseless? Shebi well be calling him useless for blowing away his shot at bigger things in life abi? He should have told Araga to cease speaking to him that way or just fight him if he's up for it,but i also think he handled the situation well. Araga later went back and still ate the food Cassi made. |
fitzmayowa:Na agidi still kpai 2pac. Araga knows who and where to, and if he doesn't, he'll find out soon enough. Forming Superman on top girl wey go gas you up still japa if e turn bloody . Cassi should have told him to jump, but last last 160m is a LOT of money. |
Clement1111:Forget her antics, watch how Flora quickly reconciles or avoids conflict when she wants to. Watch how she understands Tram's youthful exuberance. |
fitzmayowa:Neche is 25, what was Ricky expecting? To be very honest, any Millennial dating a Gen Z must be ready to pet, lead, teach, pamper and tolerate. Ricky was very wrong for expecting Neche to act like Sheba or Dessa. It's why i avoid Gen Zs below 26, and it's why i don't think Abi is 25. She moves too much like a grown woman. |
safarigirl:I once made the mistake of chatting up 2 Gen Z girls who kept asking me why Millennials were so "uptight", "too angry "& "very serious about not taking disrespect". Nah, watch how the Millennials in the house are moving - Sheba, Goddessa, Ricky, Martins and Flora. It's just a stark difference from the others. The annoying part is that these Gen Zs still expect Millennials to pet & indulge them with a huge sense of entitlement. I remember Ilebaye acting entitled & bratty like the housemates on All Stars were her parents & older siblings. If they scolded her, wahala. It got so bad that if she got drunk at a party, everyone, from Lambo to Pere, would take turns chaperoning her - or they risked anger from Big Brother. Tram, Kamsy, Temi, Blue , & even Neche treat Ricky, Cassi & Goddessa with the same entitled brattiness. |
Tram is a good example of why I typically don't laugh with Gen Zs. Very audacious disrespectful kids that deserve solid beating. |
fitzmayowa:That's what 2 grown adults that feel each other look like. Very age-appropriate stuff. |
safarigirl:That's not a Naija-British accent. It's like a new wave Black American accent, common with their YNs over there. It sounds very similar to iShowspeed's accent, who i understand is some sort of role model for the boy. Tram's accent is also practised, similar to the 'Netflixian/Tik-Tokenese' accent Dede speaks with, with catchphrases like "Wrap it up", "Stand on ten toes", "On the homies", "What the hell", & of course the forever annoying "Clock it". I find Nigerians speaking in that accent very upsetting. That being said, I'm glad he whipped Nomy, the girl is a deeply offensive irritant. |
Sex appeal is a very strong thing, especially when it can't be easily explained. Call it aura, call it charisma, call it sensuality - Barry can't seem to stop thinking about Godessa even though he stands a very good chance of getting the most beautiful girl of this season. The worst part is that Godessa knows, and she uses it to mess with his head in many ways, either by saying something naughty to him, or sometimes just looking at him and smiling before walking away. But there's Araga for now who also recognizes that Godessa likes Barry, so she can't do much till they're outside or if Araga gets evicted. |
The most abused term this season:- Aura farming. That was how Nigerians overused "Shalaye", "You dey whine?" & then "As how na?". |
Godseye70:Lol, if she doesn't rate him, why keep talking about him? Women have a weird skill, once they don't send you at all, they have a way of mentally deleting your data from their files. They act like you never existed. Why's Ricky,a supposedly washed-up Millennial with a goofy bandana, still a talking point for these girls? |
safarigirl:Blue is fun, cute and cuddly, but so is Temi who now added her Keivo-Barry dynamic + toxic friendship with Nomy as further storylines. She's gathering more sympathy as it stands. Blue is just a very interesting supporting character who'll benefit greatly from sympathy votes out of Neche's fans. She can only benefit if Ricky drags her into a triangle situation with Neche, but Ricky is also hesitant about that, maybe because of the age gap. At least Neche, despite being a Gen Z, is full-figured and looks like a grown woman. Ricky obviously seems bothered with something outside the house (he mentioned being hounded with threats to life by a particular girl that knows his home address) or maybe he's hypertensive, just like how we all thought Pere was over-packaging until his health status became known. Or he just feels out of sorts finding out he's the oldest here, like Mon Cheri was in the Level Up season. He would have done so well in SYE that was full of Millennials. The only women that he can be really free with are Sheba, Godessa (who dislikes him(, and Flora, all 30 and above. Abi would have been a great fit, but that is a no-go area. Any other girl he comes close to will be expecting a babygirl and daddy dynamic (exactly what Neche expected) , which he doesn't have the patience or emotional temperament for. |
Hmmm, another season again. I was really gunning for Aikou until this gambit mess, he's quite an unusual customer. What i think of the housemates. Barry seems like a cool kid, especially as he looks like a little cousin of mine, so i like him. Neche is also a wonderful breath of fresh air, she seems to be the first "It-girl" of a BBnaija season that's truly down-to-earth and friendly even though she knows she's beautiful. Well, maybe going to a school like Unizik that has too many beautiful girls taught her to be humble. But there's something that just doesn't seem to sit right with me regarding this Barry and Neche ship. She might fall into the same trap Dede found herself in last year - the fine girl who gets placed on a pedestal that's so high she becomes a trophy, turning her into a conquest that has to be sexually taken in the house. That was how Dede made herself look so perfect that even a kiss from her seemed like a shameful abomination to her fans who kept denying until Kola, with his big mouth and mischievous intent, announced that he had taken her down. I thought she had a spine until Ebuka outed her and she started crying. I still don't get why the females mostly detest Ricky, because he's not chasing them or because he's truly nonchalant? If he irritates them that much, why do they still talk about him? He has to be aloof, he's the oldest guy in a house of mostly Gen Zs, do they actually expect him to be their in-house ashawo? I thought they would prefer him as a daddy. And yes, Neche still finds him interesting. And what's this mess about some people saying he was forceful with Mercedes and Sheba? Those women definitely didn't look uncomfortable, they just smartly refused to be portrayed as his rebound girls. Sheba is 100% woman, very mature babe, with a sprinkle of refreshing earthy sexuality. I don't get why she entertains Tram who's antics remind me of my cringe worthy self @24 years when i was eager for validation from girls. I also feel like scrubbing the hair dye off his head, he's too young for that. And he shouldn't see doing Caucasian women as a flex, that's raw self-hate. Goddessa, another very smoky & mysterious but no-nonsense girl who owns her sexuality and fierce independence. She might end up making Araga break down in tears or earn a disqualification. She's too sophisticated for him and his heart. Cassi , i liked initially, but i don't like sneaky niggaz. He likes Neche, which isn't bad, but i don't get why he feels the only way to get her attention is by trolling and antagonizing Ricky and moving vicariously through Barry. I'm glad Ricky noticed this but kept his cool. Cassi's new pseudo-alliance with Nomy isn't helping also. He frightens the females for some reason, including Nomy. Nomy is what you get when you mix chloroquine, bitter leaf , and vinegar before adding a BBL. It's why her face looks like a beauty queen that got acid poured on her face. She also has self-esteem issues judging by her need to be friends with people she feels are socially relevant. I also think she low-key likes girls, hence her odd fixation with Neche. Temi, cute chubby kid in a very age-appropriate ship with Keivo, 2 kids with no idea of what to do next but aware that they greatly fancy each other. I like her. Thank you Nigerians for clocking Flora and Oyin. Bells will collect more than breakfast from that Temu Idris Elba. For some reason, her & Ricky have an obvious siblingship. Kamsy, wanting everything without knowing what she wants, hence being prone to losing it all. She fumbled Gerard, but Chimsom is still a great guy, even though he seems to be having some slight emotional health challenges. Abi, darling, even Millennials don't say "Oshaprapra" anymore, please stop. And yeah, Nigerian men should be upset for letting an anumanu Oyibo snatch that girl. Out of respect for her as a married woman, none of the guys want to even mention how hot she is,her body in a swimsuit can actually start a riot. Ricky rightly identified her as having the best figure in the house. Bluethopia, unusually wise for her age to the antics of men. Too loud like her generation & a little bit bratty, but ultimately a smart and well-raised girl. I also like how she watches out for Neche & how even though she likes Ricky, she shut it down out of respect for Neche while gingering Barry to man up. Martins, mature cool guy,but seems like he fancies sm.acking females. Very forgettable guy. All round good season made up of mostly ordinary Nigerians, not the usual entertainment industry rejects & Etiosa hustlers that somehow tend to know each other before the show. I like that we still don't know who the Top 5 are. For the money, for now i feel it will be between Ricky & Temi Nkem, with Tram, Barry,Neche & Blue being finalists. |
And the show ends with Imisi as the winner, congratulations to her, well played! Dede Ada Asaba, you did well Nne, from completing yourself with your emotions & men while still proudly representing your background & the Igbo culture despite your imperfect moments. No need beating yourself up. Hopefully this is just your starting point. Great season all round, too bad it was when Nigerians are facing hard times economically, these housemates would have been drowning in gifts. It was nice engaging in this thread and banting with you all, @Tifay, it's been a pleasure. Maybe we'll meet again next year, maybe we won't. Till then, be safe and sound everyone. One love! |
Dede winning will be the biggest upset in the history of the show. |
tioluwalasee:Faith won't be forgotten as the star villain of BBnaija, levels above Pere , Cee-C and Tacha. We all like villains on shows like this even though we won't admit it. I hope Faith learns and grows from this. |
[quote author=Tifay post=137027578]This is to ManfromLasvegas and Friendly25. Told you he lost quite a bit of fans with the Isabella thing. The dede fish would have even been better. Anyway no price for second so we move. Although I think Dede's people belong to the camp of Mercy and could have brought out Machinery for this finale week. Would judge better when I see the full season's results[/quot I stand corrected. Dede might actually win. @Tifay |
scondy:Did they show the Dede and Kola own? |
bentenny:Imisi acting no reach where Kola dey o |
Tifay:What happened again? |
Beorn:I think Imisi was cruising with that kiss thing o. Imisi plays around like that. Kaybobo was a little bit surprised. I personally believe she was just joking. |
davodyguy:Laycon & Vee was a clear siblingship, on the same level with Nengi & Laycon. But Kola & Imisi's own was deeper and codedly more intense, yet confusing. I suspect Imisi will carry out a very serious total makeover over the show and then play a long patient game with Kola. |
Beorn:Hmmm, Kola seems to be oblivious to it,all the girls have since clocked Imisi's true feelings for him, with very few guys like Kola, Kayode & Mensan noticing it as well. Some of Imisi's fans have started entertaining the idea, insisting that Kola isn't related to her by blood and that something can definitely happen. Kola might also be thinking about it, Mensan & even Dede admitted that Imisi cared for him the most in the house, he could do no wrong in her eyes. He even said that he doesn't know what he did to deserve so much pure love from one person. Kola will have to man up and make serious decisions outside the house, because there's now the question of Dede, the question of Imisi, and the question of Sabrina. |
Tifay:Some of his fans loved that ship o. It destroyed the perception of Koyin as just a little boy , and chihuahua following Dede around. It killed the "Cocomelon" persona following him that was also an issue for Bryann in Level Up . The ship also rebranded him as a mature young man that treated Isabella so well she dropped her OS mentality and started catching real feelings, something KK couldn't do. This is more remarkable considering that Koyin was one person Bella genuinely disliked from Week 1, only for him to totally clear her doubts and earn her respect. It also helped in making Dede crash out, revealing that all along, he was the one fish she was genuinely interested in. Mide kept complaining that if Koyin had openly declared his interest and asked for a defined ship from Dede, the show might have taken a different turn. Koyin never did, true to his open confession about preferring older women. It also favoured Bella because Dede got so confident she openly said Bella wasn't a worthy competitor for her in any way, only for Bella to emerge victorious using the surest combination of food, seggz, and respect on Koyin. I don't see the Kobella thing going further because of Bella's past, but fans LOVED it. |
Munzy14:Na, i disagree. Dede even gives Ebuka Gen Z saucy attitude, but Ebuka seems amused by her and usually indulges her antics (it just occurred to me that Ebuka is old enough to be her dad, chai people don old o!). Dede is beautiful and young,so it's natural for many people to see her as a precious flower that should be mentored. Venita has made it very clear she wants to take her under her wing and i believe she's the best mentor Dede can have, because the industry and Lagos can be a very dangerous place that chews up young girls very quickly. Pere also supports her,but Pere couldn't even properly care for Ilebaye that looked up to him and trusted him. Last last, she and Kola only kissed last night, nothing more. |
Beorn:Trust me, there's a girl you'll grow up with, fight with, play with, do stuff with, and share life experiences to the point where you both THINK as siblings. Even suggesting anything romantic would be very irritating to people in this situation, and it's likely that Kola is beginning to feel this way with Imisi. He actually leaves Dede during parties to monitor Imisi's dancing, if e wan enter rocking, he quickly breaks everything up and takes her away. It was so bad that he actually ran into the pool one time during a pool party to drag her away from Kuture. The problem is that Imisi might be feeling a different way about him, even though it's very clear she adores him and can do ANYTHING for him. Mide warned Kola to manage her very carefully as she might be catching feelings, Dede has clearly marked her out as a threat and Imisi has reciprocated, though they both play nice with each other because of Kola, and Bright has constantly complained that Kola seems to be under a spell when it comes to Imisi. Thelma & Faith straight up said he's "reducing" himself by being with her,but this only offended Kola the more. Kola & Imisi clearly takes the title as the most complex ship in BBnaija history, way more complicated than Dede & Koyin, Dede and Kola, Mercy & Venita, Pere & Kim Oprah, or Sultana & Jason. |
Beorn:They were so deep into the siblingship that some people might actually be disgusted if this really happened. I remember feeling weird when it was revealed at Lockdown reunion that Dora had feelings for Prince Nelson. |
Allnacruise:It's either this girl isn't 21, or her eyes got opened too early. Nigerian men can be that reckless. And this is the first time I'm seeing evicted housemates in BBnaija trying to catch some sort of clout alongside the finalists. Kai this season was full of entertaining characters! I'm beginning to fear that this season is very much the best season ever apart from MAYBE, Pepper Dem. |
Coolsat:If Kola does that, the negative pushback will be too much. The truth is he was all over Dede so much and followed her around like a fly constantly because he also didn't have good intentions for her, she refused him at first but he just kept applying pressure and virtually got the entire house to also keep blackmailing Dede emotionally till she finally succumbed. That's why i laughed when i saw naive Kola & Dede shippers on Twitter. She was simply a conquest for him, and instead of maintaining steeze knowing that he had gotten something from her, he kept crying that she was maintaining distance in public and has now entered the stage of threatening Dede with "I will say what we really did o!". That one too as a si11y small girl shot herself in the foot, you did so well behaving yourself, only to fall to Kola of all people at the end of Week 7, and still cry about embarrassing your family on live TV! I hope her brothers give her a well-deserved brushing. If she was friendly with Bright that she used no hugging to embarrass, he would have warned her since to be careful, none of the fishes in that house saw her as anything more than a trophy . Kola made sure that viewers still knew what happened that night, and Dede will realize how naive she was. No man who's that desperate to get a woman in the BBnaija house instead of slowly playing a long game has good intentions for that woman. Dede should just hope Ebuka doesn't bring play the video of what happened that night at the reunion. At least she'll learn from this experience. I hope the post-show drama from Kola and Dede won't rival that of Cee-C and Tobi sha. All in all, it was a massively entertaining season. Kudos to the production team. |
