Acclaimed cadet Emmanuel was arrested this morning at AKTC park Ojuelegba by 7:35 am today, park management disclosed that persons like him do come periodically to harass them.

Emmanuel claims he came to make inquiries about the fare to Kaduna while park management insisted that they do not ply Kaduna from Ojuelegba.
Park management also disclosed that on 20/08/2018 their drivers encountered a robbery attack carried out by men in army camo. and alleged that He Emmanuel must have been their informant.

Items retrieved from him included:

1. Fake Nigerian Army ID card
2. Expired pass by the Nigerian Navy (A4)
3. Military belt
4. 1550 Naira inn his wallet
5. Voters card
6. Army headgear
7. Army Scarf

Decided to try out his long wish of cycling from Uyo to Ikot Ekpene.
According to him he set out from his house at about 7m to Ibom Plaza and took the long journey to Ikot Ekpene, riding across different ascents and slopes along the way.

He got tried at Ik and decided to take some Lucozade boost and headed for the 4point Sheraton to mark his first lap of the trip.

The return trip through Abak he said was the longest and must tiring and with burning hips and thighs and with the negative thoughts of why he undertook such a trip but only the joy of undertaking the task, desire to return to Uyo at all cost, and the consciousness of the heavy duty vehicles and other road users kept him going.

He plans to ride from Uyo to Eastern Obolo

The crown prince of Benin of Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Eheneden Erediauwa, has symbolically wrestled with the Chief Priest of Okhuaihe shrine, Osarodion Usuanlele.


The ‘wrestling’ is a traditional rite for the coronation of Prince Eheneden as the 39th Oba of Benin.

The crown prince symbolically fought with the Usuanlele, who is also the Ohen N’ Ukoni Neyedo, on Saturday evening.

Both of them also proceeded to the sacred forest in the community, where some rites were performed.

After the ceremonial bout, both of them went their opposite ways and were not expected to see each other again after the crown prince becomes the Oba.
