One thing I'd like to know for movies or series is how the music director always almost pick the perfect song for the scene.

And these songs aren't like chart topping songs, they are just obscure songs that fit the particular scene.

Like how many songs or obscure songs can one or even a group of persons know that will just have the perfect lyrics to suit a scene or a movie.

I want to know.

Years of experience. Working on the entry level doing research for music directors and assistants has, probably, exposed them to many unpopular and unconventional genres and artists. This obviously comes in handy later in their career.

It can also just be one of the assistants who suggested the track and the director ran with it.

Kudos to y'all that read books on phone. I just can't. I prefer paper, the turning of the next page and all.

I prefer paper too. But finally getting over this barrier and learning to read books on phone really helped me a lot. Especially as the economy started to tank. Don't think I would've been able to read as much books as I have in the past 6 years, if not for piracy

Sentenced to be a hero is the best anime this season. The background story is one that would always make you sit down and think.

My ride with this anime was crazy. Went from loving the first episode to thinking I may drop it by the 3rd episode to absolutely hooked by the 5th episode.
I love the characterization best of all. So many interesting and entertaining characters.
