I left the Christmas money I was hustling to be here. Between this movie, Michael and The Super Mario Galaxy movie, next year is already looking massively better than this year.

I remember watching one of his movies titled bridge of dragons in the early 2000s. It starred Tagawa and Dolph Lundgren.

Did anybody else here watch it? It was quite captivating.

Bridge of Dragons was one of those movies we watched during Christmas in the villa. Generator running at one of the well-to-do uncle's house, kids sitting on chairs or the floor. Older ones covering the younger ones' eyes when a kissing or séx scene comes on. Good times sha

I was stuck in a long commute last month and decided to read up on John Wayne Gacy, one of the most disturbing yet fascinating serial killer profiles I’ve ever come across. A few days later I stumbled on the trailer for this series on YT, and instantly knew it would be good.

The show tells the story of Gacy, but not just through the lens of his crimes. It focuses on his victims, the emotional devastation their families went through, and the investigation and trial that eventually nailed him for the murder of 33 young boys.

It opens with the disappearance of his final victim, Rob Piest, before Gacy's capture. From there, the episodes follow a non-linear structure to really show the depth of his depravity and the failures of authorities who couldn’t spot a killer hiding in plain sight. I mean this was “Pogo the Clown,” an upstanding community man who entertained children, he even had a photo with Nancy Reagan. But behind it all was a deeply sick, calculating predator.

Gacy was so prolific his crimes reshaped how missing persons cases were handled. And while defense lawyers predictably pushed the insanity angle, nothing about his killings was chaotic. He planned, targeted, killed, and buried his victims with chilling precision, because, in his own words, “he owned the bodies.” This was not insanity. This was pure, deliberate evil.

Michael Chernus delivers one of the best performances I’ve seen in a limited series in a long time. I never expected this level of intensity from someone mostly known for bit part roles in OITNB and Severance. But here, he absolutely disappears into Gacy, the nonchalant, unremorseful demeanor was 100% spot on. There’s a standout moment that fully captures just how good the performance was, where a detective asks, “I think there are more than 33, John. Are there more bodies out there?” And Gacy gives a cold stare and replies, “Up to you to find out.”.. Cold. Absolutely cold!.

This is easily one of my favourite shows of the year, and as an avid follower of this lore, one of best serial killer dramatization in years. easy easy recommend that's if you can stomach the subject matter 👍🏿

Been known the name for a while. Decided to Google him after reading this review. Read the wiki barely halfway, closed the wiki. Devil in Disguise was not a title. It was a fact. There's no way this vile creature is human.
I wager his victims would've preferred to be attacked by wild animals. Wild animals don't treat their prey the way this demon treated his victims. They did not deserve to spend their last hours of life experiencing hell.

There better be a hell and this monster better be rotting in the hottest, deepest part of it.

Well, I'll be there for episode 1, at least.

Was first introduced to him as Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat (1995). Would go on to enjoy his craft in different media from live-action roles to voice work. His narration of the Overwatch cinematic short, Dragons, is absolutely majestic to this day.

Rest in peace, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.

This is like the third year in row, Iyo is repeating the same garbage spot at wargames.

I also saw a spot Last Dynamite where Julia Hart botched a moonsault then pinned Hayley Cameron. My issues wasn't even the moonsault, but with Sky Blue just casually walking to stand in the way of Willow so she'd hit her to interrupt the pin.

I don't know who's training wrestlers nowadays but there's no urgency or impulse everything must be rehearsed and choreographed robotically.

Moonsault into a crowd of wrestlers is always a bit of work to pass off as real. With what we know now after the death of kayfabe, yeah we try to give them a bit of leeway cause they have to position well to catch the jumper while also avoiding injury. But I always appreciate those who put in effort to make it just a bit organic. Brawling while keeping an eye on the jumper or just timing it well enough so they only have to act groggy for a few seconds before the moonsault lands.

If they can't make this spot look believable, let them shelve it. I'm pretty sure Iyo can come up with something else just as good or even better.

That Skye Blue spot was absolute ass. She simply had to act like she was aggressively trying to protect her partner's pin before taking the tackle.
