Lupita is fine but they didn't even glam her up so we can buy her as Helen of Troy. Na who 1000 shops burn over be this?
Elliot page na woman, no matter how many testosterone e take.

I really don't know what a unflattering, low-res picture from 12 Years a Slave is supposed to prove. Funny how they keep spamming this pic instead of using pictures from The Odyssey

Achilles100:
I will be there for my 'girl' Tanya, I didn't know Daemons of the Shadow Realm has finished airing. I usually wait for my 2 weeks or more before downloading from the last episode I stopped.

Daemons hasn't finished airing. They're airing 24 episodes so episode 13 should be dropping this weekend.
Wish Witch Hat Atelier had done the same thing. I knew there was little chance of them gaining a massive following with 13 episodes.

oyaskii:
it's the one with Scarlet Johansson inferior to this, my good sir?

Very, very inferior. The Scar-Jo one is one of those live-action adaptations that do a disservice to their source material.

ValeeLove:
My brother see me o.

Tweeners?

On the anime side, I'll be watching the following shows this season.

- Mushoku Tensei S3
- Grand Blue S3
- The Ghost in the Shell
- The Saga of Tanya the Evil S2
- Clevatess S2
- Bleach: TYBW - The Calamity
- Link Click S3

Re Zero, Slime, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, Iruma-kun and Bookworm from the just concluded Spring season are also airing their 2nd cours. So this will be a very stacked period for me. I'll definitely be eating well for the next 3 months.

Wrapped up The Legend of Vox Machina S4 last weekend and this might just be their best season yet, even if that Pike character arc didn't sit well with me. I'll like to make out time to do a full review later.

Moving on to My Adventures with Superman S3, Reacher S3 and Ted Lasso S3. Got X-Men: The Animated Adventures (1992) lined up next. I still don't know when I'll make time to catch up on Invincible.

Ghost in the Shell (1995) 9/10

Rewatching this and then the sequel, Innocence, next week in preparation for Science Saru's take on the GitS franchise this month.

This is still one of the most amazing anime made after 30 years. Not just the story, but the art and animation still hold up after 3 decades.

GitS' major theme revolves around identity. Who are you when your memories are altered, modified or erased?
As we advance in the AI era and a lot of people spend more time online than offline, these questions become even more relevant than they were 3 decades ago. How do we process information when it becomes increasingly difficult to tell what's real or fake anymore?

I don't think I appreciated the music in this movie properly the first time I watched it but on this rewatch, I can't help but appreciate Kenji Kawai's marvelous work in the studio. The haunting score lends itself in enhancing the eerie atmosphere the movie is going for and I absolutely love it.

Masamune Shirow cooked with this take on the cyberpunk genre and it has not only continued to inspire other stories but has somehow managed to grow in relevance with time.

Moving on to Innocence this weekend.

P.S: Another fun aspect about watching old movies about the future is when their future timeline is your present. We're 3 years away from 2029 in which this movie is set and it's a bit amusing to compare what people thought the future would look like in 2029 with our present.

oyaskii:
lmaooo bruhhhh...This was my first watch actually 😩, dreading it for years because of how sad the premise was, so a rewatch is way further down the line 🥲

I may rewatch... many years into the future to teach my kids about the horrors of war.

Illusioneffect:
Anyone who rewatches that film is sadomasochistic and the devil

But it's just a cute story about a brother and a sister 😐

oyaskii:
Thanks to the weather, had enough free time, and went on a 4 movie marathon in 1 day, and my #last 4 watched is just so bleak, each movie was trying to outperfom the other in which was the saddest and most depressing of the lot fgs 😩😭

So when will you be rewatching Grave of the Fireflies? 😁

Ishilove:
Seriously. I was a bit irritated with that.

You saw a fellow black person in a movie and it irritated you? Even Uncle Ruckus no do reach like this

nani667:
🤔

Gbewa! I'm sat

oyaskii:
‎Blades of the Guardian: Wind Rises in the Desert. (2026)
‎
‎And when I say it had everything, I mean everything. There was even a Black guy in there. A Black person in ancient China, fgs! 😩 His Chinese sounded dubbed, but somehow it added to the charm. To top it all off, OG Jet Li makes an appearance, and Big Unc still got it.
‎
‎8/10.

So the woke DEI even got to the Chinese movie industry 😂🤣😂
Eventually, people will realize what we've been trying to explain to them about representation and marketing, instead of letting bigoted grifters fill their heads with propaganda.

Wish this aired after Vox Machina S4 but thankfully, it's an episode per week so I can watch it alongside or just put it on hold till next 2 weeks when Vox Machina finishes airing.

pu7pl3:
Since this afternoon i've been on that site and I've only been able to downloade 3 episodes
Please plug me somewhere else, life isnt supposed to be this hard

pu7pl3:
Where do i search for these OVA's and what's the full meaning cos i cant find it

E dey for where anime dey pahe. Search Attack on Titan and check the "Relations" tab

Leyqute:
In The Grey.

Quite cliché but I still enjoyed it. It’s been a while I’ve seen movies of this genre that isn’t oozing cheesiness.

"A Guy Ritchie film". I'm sat

DieRich5:
All of them are new and the talk of the internet, I’ve only watched number 1 and 8 few episodes and I’m not feeling it and the rest waiting to complete.

The reviews I’m seeing on No 2 and 6 will definitely be interesting anime.

1: Do You Like Big Girls?
2: Agents of the Four Seasons
3: classroom of the elite (new season)
4: Daemons of the Shadow Realm
5: the rampart of ice
6: Marriage toxic
7: Gals Can't Be Kind to Otaku!?
8: Witch Hat Atelier

Sneaking a hentai into an anime recommendation list is diabolical 😲

geezyk:
Anyone here watching Ling Cage? It's a Chinese Donghua. Hoping the 3rd season drops soon cos the gap between the season 1 and 2 was 6 years.

Do you mean Link Click?

Lana1:
The amount of times the camera panned to Ana Sawai's face for a good 5 to10 seconds in Legacy of monsters was a bit over the top but I get it. The woman is fine af

might tune in for that Saquon solo run

DieRich5:
Not yet but I feel it will be likely late 2028

My money's on next year

DieRich5:
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 1. 8.5/10

I didn’t know it’s was really that interesting and it on my watchlist since, The hype on S2 airing now make me watch it and I love it.

If you like “black clover” than check this out.

I actually recommended the first season to people who liked Solo Leveling

JayVicky:
Bro... the fight scenes between Dante and Vergil did things to me.
And when that song came on... "I am the storm that is approaching🎶" 🙆
I died and went to heaven. I'm typing this from the pearly gates.

WAIT!! They actually used The Storm That Is Approaching in the show? Burst my head!

BlackManta:
You know The Boys S5 is the worst season of the show when the actors can't even defend it.

Anthony Starr absolutely hates season 5.

He's not even trying to hide his disgust.

This low-key reminds me of the video of the cast of Game of Thrones reading the script for the finale. They couldn't hide their disappointment. 😂🤣

samistry:

Them wan overfeed me. And I'm here for it

Please tell me they did not have Asuka's farewell match at Backlash when it could've easily been on Mania.

2 months to go

At this point, e sure me die say Roman has his own personal creative team. His programs rarely miss, even when the rest of the product is struggling.

joseph1832:
Will the Boogeyman make a cameo or full appearance?

Cameo, obviously. My money is on a flashback sequence.
