I comment AUTHORITATIVELY on this post because I know him very well from childhood to present day. I was the Secondary School TEACHER of Senator Monday Okpebholo and we are both from the same native hometown of UWESSAN-IRRUA. I am popularly called THE POSITIVE THINKER (aka Happy Man) from Uwessan-Irrua. I was the Writer (Columnist) of Positive Thinking Columns in the Observer Newspapers, Benin City, from 1984 to 1990.

1. He was NOT born in UROMI.

2. He was BORN in UWESSAN-IRRUA.

3. He attended Udomi Primary School in UWESSAN-IRRUA.

4. He attended Ujabhole Grammar School, UWESSAN-IRRUA.

5. He has Bsc and Msc from UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA.

6. He does NOT have a PhD.

7. He did NOT attend University of Ibadan (UI).

8. He did NOT contest any House of Representatives Election.

9. The FIRST and ONLY Political Election he has ever contested in his life was SENATORIAL ELECTION which he Won in 2023.

10. Ask me questions about Senator Monday Okpebholo and I will give you CORRECT answers.

Coming from Phillip Shaibu, a man who could not win his polling unit in his home town of Uzairue, when he was on the ballot as as DEPUTY GOVERNOR CANDIDATE of the PDP in 2020

What happened to Atiku Abubakar is what will happen to Phillip

What is the path way forward for Phillip in his political career going forward?

He cant go to Senate because Oshomole is there

He cant be GOVERNOR because Okpebholo is there

He cant be DEPUTY GOVERNOR because he has served his term

Even if Okpebholor is impeached, Dennis Idahosa will be Governor

He cant be a Minister because Tinubu has already picked his cabinet

He cant be anything because every office at the Federal Level is occupied

. That's what it is. I won't join anybody in hunger protest in this country again. By the way, I like the way obaseki's candidate was humbled. You don't faulter on agreement. Instead of picking his successor from among the pdp members who.rescued him duting his 2nd term bid, he went and picked a newcomer. That's betrayal.

People were just attacking shaibu for nothing cos he left the pdp. Shaibu didn't have any interest in running for that position in the first place. He's a great politician. He met with obaseki and begged him to fulfill the agreement with the pdp members that they met on ground, those who rescued them at the time they needed them the most. One of the agreement was that the next governor must come from edo central and must be from among them cos they had already zoned their ticket to that region before obaseki came and the candidate stepped aside.

Instead, he went and brought asue ighodalo. At that point, shaibu was left with no option than challenge his decision and contest for the same office.

If you like pegged it on professorships Nigerian politicians are evil,we seen professor, doctorate and msc holders that have grace all sector of the country what do we had as end results below average.A road vendors will do better than those with degrees but we are quick to underrated them, you don't need a degree to do what is right to others and gives what is due to fellows human to live a meaningful life

Like is truly sickening. What hope is there for Nigeria? This is installing godfatherism again in the state. Again, it could be as a result of the poor performance of the incumbent governor. They claim Adams Oshimomhole did well as governor, that could have prompted their actions.
