South African ambassador dies after falling from Paris hotel room Story by Kieran Kelly
Emmanuel Nkosinathi Mthethwa was found dead near the Hyatt Hotel at Porte Maillot - South African Embassy in Paris South Africa’s ambassador to France has been found dead after falling from the 22nd floor of his hotel room.
Emmanuel Nkosinathi Mthethwa, who was reported missing on Monday, was found dead near the Hyatt Hotel at Porte Maillot in Paris on Tuesday, sources told Le Parisien.
Mr Mthethwa, 58, was reported missing by his wife after she received a “worrying message in the evening”, the Paris prosecutor’s office said. Fearing that he had taken his own life, the police started a search party in the woods in western Paris.
Mr Mthethwa was appointed to the role in February last year. He also served as South Africa’s permanent delegate to Unesco after a decades-long career in politics. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2025/09/30/south-african-ambassador-falls-to-death-from-paris-apartmen

but the man lied jaxxy: That's why I said he reasons for sacking should be addressed. Sabotage be isolated or systemic.
Systemic Sabotage it is wide spread on needs total overhaul. |

dangote was warned to stay away from refinery business Almunjid: Na me lie about the termination? Dangote is only battling his adversaries fiercely to protect his refinery from their control. It is apparent how these deceitful individuals are trying to take advantage of the Dangote Refinery's launch for their own gain. |
Politics › Re: Group Led By Deji Adeyanju Condemns Dangote's Sack Of 800 Workers by frog12: 7:46pm On Sep 29, 2025 |
how intelligent are you? do you mass sack people because of sabotage or you find the culprits? he only sack dem to prevent dem from joining the union. \ you see why you can never please nigerians? that's why we deserve military dictatorsjaxxy: In same sack post. He said there was a threat to safety of the refinery and sabotage therefore measures were being taken by the mass sack.
Dangote isn't crazy to sack his works who have help get his refinery running but if there is a threat by way if sabotage he has to act decisively.
Trade union must know their place by law and stop acting like mafias. |

when did he give the reasons? jaxxy: Dangote gave his reasons and concerns for the sack so please kindly address those threats to the refinery optimal performance and safety by way of sabotage.
Then u can make ur demands to Dangote on his actions. |

that part that bothers me is replacing Nigerians with Indians. No patriotism at all. Just colonial mentality. Na the Colonial powers used to import Indians to work on their sugar farms. They detest the native Blacks. They did it in South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Mauritius, After that they take over like insects. They are effectively in charge in Mauritius. They tried in Fiji but the natives kept them out of power with army. Idi Amin understood it and drove the Indians out of Uganda but the west destroyed his reputation. Ugandans are grateful to Idi Amin but will not say it in public. ogascomax: All of you commenting do not know anything that is going on in Dangote regarding Nigerians workers there. Their welfare is extremely poor. While you guys a jumping and clapping for Dangote, the staffs are very happy. You won't write all these if you were working there. Dangote sacked all 85 staffs that helped Dangote during the start up. After a successful start up the rewards for all of them was sacking them then replacing all of them with Indians. He under pays his workers. Now he has sacked over 800 staffs for joining Union. Where is there no Union in the world. Lack of knowledge and information make you guys speak this way. Union is what check the excesses of employers otherwise they will pay workers peanut, with disregard to safety and terrible working conditions. If Dangote staffs or any other company subject their staffs to extremely bad working conditions based on risk assessment. It's Union that can intervene otherwise terrible CEO's will take advantage of such loopholes to stifle workers and they won't have a say. |

the issues they complain of is important. how does he justify mass employment to Indians?? If your family member dey among the 800 people sacked, you go dey say another thing maiunguwar: Dangote solved the problem Nigeria couldn't solve, billions of dollars was spent on TAMs that didn't materialize, and billions more was spent on importation of adulterated fuel, but an individual mobilized resources to give us what the government couldn't do for us,yet some people are hell bent on taking us back to the locust years. How do you people justify holding the country to ransom because 800 persons were sacked? |
Politics › Re: Dangote Slams PENGASSAN Over Disruption Move by frog12: 1:46pm On Sep 29, 2025 |
you mean na Indians really own the refinery and the man na front for them? fxexperts: Bro you know absolutely nothing about the oil and gas industry you are so talking about. And the reason for the refineries not working is purely due to the corrupt nature of Nigerians and their government officials, they budget millions monthly for the refinery upkeep and they siphon the money through corruption, and no one asks any questions. Are you aware that even NLNG is a member of the same PENGASSAN, so why has it not gone bankrupt, because there is accountability over there? The company is not run directly by the Nigerian government, even though the NNPC also has the highest ownership of over 50%; the private ownership still has a lot of say there. I have worked in both the Dangote Refinery and also NLNG, and I can tell you for a fact that Dangote Refinery is never a place for any Nigerian to work ;it is obviously an Indian company wanting to sell refined products to Nigerian final consumers. Those Indians are something else. |
