saydfact: Roofing would cost you about 600k on low budget ceiling shd run into 150k minimum Windows and Doors would cost you 600k on low budget (about 10 doors and 10 casement windows) Tiling can't be less than 300k (Tiles, material, and labour) Mech and Electrical should be around 500k (with quality Nigerian cable; DO NOT use inferior wires. Zero compromises) Painting about 150k on low budget
There would offcourse be a lot of smaller tasks to deal with...
MY ADVICE: Don't waste the 2m thinking it's too small to achieve something; it can achieve a lot - Just roof the building and use the balance for internal works, as much as it can take.
NOTE: I did this with the assumption that you have done the concrete flooring, and there is plastering of about 300k too... Goodluck Good day sir. I have passed this stage a little and it's a DIY 3bdrm. Pls in what order should I follow. Internal plumbing (mech/elect) is done Internal Plastering is done German floor is done Door frames and burglary is done External doors done So I'm left with windows, internal doors, external pop, tiling, electrical and toilet fittings. In what order should I follow to achieve the remaining tasks? Thanks. |

saydfact: You'll need to spend about 400k to fix all doors, windows and bulgary (on low budget)... security is keyy.
You have 600k to plaster the living, dining, kitchen and 1 bedroom
there would be a little left to tile the living room at least.
Goodluck Money don finish be dat. Well my priority doors are main entrance door (iron), exit door (iron) and the masters bedroom door(wood).other doors can wait. So any review? |

michlins: I haven't been to uyo so I can't tell you. But there's a transport company that plies the route daily. They charge like 2k per seat. I know this because I have waybill a phone to someone there From Anambra to uyo is now 4k. But if you are warebilling it is cheaper. But, warebilling iron doors will cost even more. |

saydfact: 1st question is; are there people living around there already - maybe the way you took the pics made it look so
2ndly - 1m wont do much, I wld have advice you pay 1 year rent and do everything to raise about 2m to get it habitable in 365 days.
Goodluck People are living there already and some structures are being raised there too. Will the 1m be enough to fix just the masters bdrm, living room, dining and the veranda, excluding the other 2 rooms? |

michlins: how many entrance doors do you have at the building. I will advise that you use iron doors for all the house. They are cheaper and more durable. Each door below costs #18,000 for the single and #28,000 for the double door Two entrance doors. But I'm not cool with having iron doors inside. Iron doors at the entrance is just fine. |

Where’s the project? Uyo
How much time do you have? Do you already have water on site? What’s the current state of the building?
If possible, pls share your building plan. The project is in uyo. I do have time once in a while. There's no water on site but I do get water from the next compound. The building was just roofed. |

I want to ask the experienced ones here, is there a way to manage this money do I can move into the house. Thanks |
