I may not be a fan of either Tecno or Infinix but I made my statement based on how well both brands did in the market, not quality or specs. Almost all the Infinix phones got sold out within weeks of release, can't say the same for Tecno. Tecno May have sold well but Infinix did a lot more better.

Infinix sales is more online than in the the retail market. Tecno have exclusive tecno retail stores in major cities across Nigeria. This may be the reason they are able to sell more than others

Months ago, I was in Accra, Ghana for the West Africa Telecom Summit Expo 2015, as well as Ghana Telecom Awards 2015. During the course of the events, I spoke with a few industry insiders there and all confirmed that TECNO was Ghana’s leading smartphone brand, ahead of Samsung and Huawei.


Here in Nigeria, sales figures from 2014 tell a similar story – that TECNO has become Nigeria’s leading smartphone brand, again ahead of Samsung. I have spoken with leading mobile technologist, Emeka Okoye, about the Nigerian smartphone market before. He reiterated this fact again:


Emeka says that for every one device that Samsung sells, TECNO sells two. Sounds amazing.
I wish for the day when statistics will be made public here in Nigeria as is done in other places around the world. Available stats here keep being shrouded in secrecy, something that I believe is detrimental to progress.

haba guy. Zero3 is far more better than phantom 5...lets just wait for the price which will strike the final blow. Phantom 5 is really an overprized phone. Look at the performance of zero 3.. 2ghz processor with helio x10 processor b4 we even talk of camera... See how i wanted to laugh when the MD of tecno ng was saying that great technology doesn't have to cost. What tecno did was just to add a fingerprint scaner which wouldn't even save you if it was stolen (the data will simply be erased) and gave a launch price of 69000. Just imagine. Then what if it was waterproof, dustproof and had other features such as laser auto focus and ir blaster. Then it's like they'll sell it 300k. Tecno just used fingerprint scanner 4 their propaganda and see how people are crazy about it

specs wise, zero 3 is Still ahead of the Phantom 5 but when you look at the build quality of phantom it's way better than zero 3. The zero 3 looks really cheap in design. Infinix should stop using this design concept for their flagship devices. I still prefer the note 2 over this in design

RAM-, - 90%(2GIG)
Battery - 50%(2500mah)
Hardware - 70%(Kevlar rim. Awesome screen)
Camera - 60%(5mp front %back)
OS. - 50% (4.4 KITKAT no upgrade)
Size - 75% (5inc. Not bad standard)
Maintenance - 35% (mine spent 2months in their office before they returned it)

Overall it's still a good phone. I expect strong competition from camon c8, hot 2, zero and gionee but for just N17,700 and 2gig ram,
Jnnjoo fire deserves a spot in the list of nominees.

Chai! This phone is the worst android phone of the year. Mine is still lying idle because of the ghost touching issue. Bro are you using it because all four of my friends that bought has same TouchPad issue with the phone. The battery is terrible. Innjoo I hail oo. I won't go near you again

on multitasking, the L5 will handle tasks more smoothly than the M3 mini. The 64bit processor and mali t720 needs atleat 2gb RAM to run smoothly. Any phone with this chip paired with one 1gb RAM is a disaster in terms of multitasking
