Chei! I will fight this with my last strength. I would get her metal bra. No way Mr 190. Go and marry and see how good it is someone doing that to your wife. |
@190, I know your secretary and I will let her know this. From tomorrow, she would be coming to work on iron boxers. |
1st Reading Acts 8:5-8,14-17 2nd Reading 1 Peter 3:15-18 Gospel John 14:15-21 Fr Christian's Reflection on Sixth Sunday of Easter THE LITTLE PAINS OF TODAY THAT BRINGS THE GREATER JOY TOMORROW With this sixth Sunday of Easter, we are gradually approaching the Ascension of the Lord. Christ’s departure from the disciples was not something they got along with easily. We can understand what they felt in anticipating that Christ was being taken away from them when we remember the experience of Elisha in 2Kgs 2:1-6. When Elisha was told “Do you know that Yahweh is going to carry your lord and master away today?” his response showed a reluctance to get separated as he told Elijah: as Yahweh lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you! (2Kgs 2:6). The same was the feelings of the disciples of Jesus when it became obvious that Christ, their Lord and master must be departing bodily from them. They had enjoyed His company such that they were finding it difficult to accept it when he told them He must definitely leave them. So Jesus had to let them know the benefit of accepting that little pain of missing His physical presence, and the greater joy of having the Holy Spirit, the advocate, the comforter in their midst. Christ’s own word of comfort, which we heard today were: “…and He will give you another advocate to be with you for ever. …I will not leave you orphans” (Jn 14: 16, 18). We can not over emphasize the role of the Holy Spirit on them when He finally came. They saw the kind of courage they never experienced before. The proclamation of the gospel became wider and faster. They began to withstand persecutions more than ever. All these were possible because they had to put up with enduring the pains of the little moment. In our lives, we find out that sometimes we are afraid to face the realities that pose challenges to us. We often do not take the courage to endure little in order to enjoy more. Directly, let us realize that the benefit of loving God and obeying His commandments surpasses whatever pains we may see therein. For instance, it could be very difficult at times, to say the truth always. But no matter how hard it may be at that moment, one would experience an inner peace and joy if only one takes up the courage to say it. Speak that truth, it will bring you the lasting joy of tomorrow. St Peter admonishes us today in the second reading: “if… you should suffer, it is better to suffer for doing right than for doing wrong” (1Pt. 3:17). Sometimes, we bluntly choose to sit tight in a particular sin simply because we do not want to offend someone. Other times, we may think we would die if we cut off from a particular benefit we get in an inappropriate way. The fear of not getting married has made many stay put in an immoral life for years. It is good to know that even if we have to suffer the pains of separating from our best friend who constitute an occasion of sin to us, we should be courageous to take that little pains in order to enjoy a lasting peace with God; peace that the world cannot give. Psalm 30:5 speaks to us: weeping may endure in the night, but joy comes with dawn. May the Virgin Mary intercede for us. |

To all Catholics, Idol worshiping is greatest sin God dislikes apart from fornication. Bowing down to the images dead Mary and Saints is EXACTLY idol worshiping which will land you in hell if you dont repent. Remember, Pope is in hell. I warn you, let not your mouth bring you condemnation. Why do you just open your mouth to utter blasphemy. Check up what Jesus said about this kind of thing you just said in Mtt. 12:31-32. And pray that God prevents me from getting so upset as to place a curse on you. Then you would know what a Roman Catholic priest means. It has happened to so many stubborn person like you. Your type usually learns the hard way. Please go and ask people and they will tell you never again to joke with a Catholic priest. |
souldust:It shall be well with you my dear. |
It's very simply. Dip ur finger or tongue to test for it. |
Tudór:Good question! What, if you wouldnt mind, is the primary goal of sex? Pleasure? Or procreation? I tell you, it is not to be used as a pleasure tool without the readiness to accepting the divine consequenses. Take it or leave it, condom (of course contraceptions) lays aside the later. That is one of the reasons for its prohibition even in marriage. |
Come on! read ur source again and stop propagatiing what is not the case. How could u be so attracted by a caption given by those who really want kill the dog and decide to give it a bad name first? The Pope never APROVED THE USE OF CONDOMS. The Catholic Church CANNOT equivocating as you expect. Whatch it before you land yourself in a deep shit |
