tonychristopher: It is a private firm and the owner can fire anybody be it anioma or anambra
Enugu fired anambra workers did anambra peeps go crying around
People should grow up and understand that an organisation can fire anybody
I just don't get this attribution
Have you asked if the man was productive
Why do most delta Igbo have this complex thing ...the average Igbo would have moved on
Why lamentation the owner can fire anybody he likes......I agree. but in this case, the procedure was to get rid of all NON IGBOS first and an asaba person got included. I don't know if u've met an asaba person before. we speak pure anambra unlike all other igbo-speaking communities in delta. our igbos are even clearer than that of enugu and abia. we bear their names too and so can easily disguise as igbos. yet the so-called igbo people would always want to distinguish. |

tonychristopher: That's the more reason they tag your type of people fake Igbo and I think they are right after all did u read the post I quoted at all? that the owner of a company wanted to reduce the number of his workers. he started by firing non-igbos, and an asaba person was included. is that not telling u that the man doesn't regard asaba people as igbos? and how does that justify ur claim that igbos are their brother keepers? gerrarahere mehn! |

tonychristopher: Who is this one
Did Ojukwu plan the coup it was an igbo-led coup, later thwarted by aguiyi ironsi, who was the then military head and a loyalist to the north. Ojukwu was quickly made head of the eastern region.......and he formed his own battalion with the help of nzeogwu. I don't know where u read ur own story |

tonychristopher: No it was the Asaba and Delta Igbo that caused the civil war but the eastern Igbo stood by them and we realise that we cant let our brothers down, even our cousins the Ibibio was with us here in the war...the only sour point which is normal in every 12 and in every family there is always the black sheep... and do you know the black sheep?
The IKWERRES but some are coming back to the fold via OHANEZE
So dont be scared of IGBO unity...igbos are not marufders that invade territories, its the fulani that does that...the igbo man is busy looking for the next deal be it intellectually or economically
we are too busy for petty invasion was ojukwu from asaba? pls stop putting the biafran war blame on us. nzeogwu decided to join after ojukwu persuaded him |

lezz: I do not make the mistake of speaking for a group of people as their mouthpiece.
But I have travelled and lived amongst different groups in Nigeria. I know the damage and political expediency that the Igbos of the south - South endured and subsequently adjusted to a life of near-duplicity and the fake - igbo lebel that is often chanted in the south east.
Do you deny this ?
In 1999 I was at Nsuka when Crush soft drink was the rave of the moment as Orijin now is, well the management decided to sack non-igbos as a measure for cutting cost. An Asaba man was sacked!!!
Also during my NYSC in Enugu, I met many igbos of Rivers origin and a considerable number will deny their igbo-ness so lamely it hurts.
I think it is all a cowardly resolution to paddle "smoothly" in the polygamous waters of the NigerIan marriage. u can imagine that! this is why i don't like to be identified as igbo even though we live close enough and understand their language and culture. coz when it comes down to the sharing benefits, igbo people would deny asaba people and call them deltans. they're so unpredictable |

Nairaland General › Re: Man Touches High Tension Wires Without Gloves In Lagos by FTBOY: 3:27pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
Armaggedon: Some experienced electricians do touch naked wires with bare hands without getting shocked. no matter ur level of experience in NEPAlogy and pole-climbing, u CAN NOT touch a live high-tension cable and continue breathing the next 5 seconds by the way, the man's hands are not visibly clear in the pictures. how can one tell they're not gloved? |
Career › Re: Why Do Nigerian Graduates Dread (or Is It Hate) Marketing/sales Jobs? by FTBOY: 3:23pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
marketing jobs would have u talking excessively, spending most of ur time under the sun as you try to convince people to patronize your product |
