Chapter Two Summary

Tayo went to drink party at the Barkers, Mr Barker is a friend of Headmaster Faircliff. They had been together at Oxford together in the 1940s.

At the party tayo joined Bolaji's small circle of friends (Bolaji is a Nigerian student with Christine and Ike)
As they were talking Tayo was checking christine out.

Later some other day Tayo bumped into Christine in the market. He invited her to have coffee at the cadena the next day and to his surprise, she accepted.

Christine thought Tayo was a Playboy cos different have been greeting him where the sat at the Cadena while having coffee.

Tayo grew bold again and invited her to his rooms for coffee,
On friday Night she came, he goes closer to her and kissed her.

After that they have been together.

His father replied him 2 weeks after telling him about his siblings. Bisi received highest honours for Geography and Biyi made the school prefect.
Also, His mother is preparing her trip to Mecca.

He was escorted by his parents, uncle,aunties, and several Lagos-Based relatives were with him.
His headmaster Faircliff and some teachers from school also was there.

He boarded the ship and off he go, he made friends with two students Mr Lekan Olajide from ogbomosho and Mr Ibrahim Mohammed from Kaduna.
He wrote to his father ( oh i forgot the story started in 1963) telling him all his experiences as he got to Oxford.

It began with tayo walking back home thinking about the night before, where he had an erotic nite with modupe, his lover in preparation for leaving for the scholarship that given to him into oxford university.

They set early in the morning to visit their relatives as it was a tradition for someone who want to embark on a long jouney.

Actually I was through with all of the registration process buh when it got to the clicking on submit so as at print out my e-slip,the system said I've registered before and won't be able to register again,meanwhile I haven't,don't know if anyone else experienced this and pls wah can be done?

i experienced it also, it means they ave click d submit twice after it ave actually been submitted, the next thing is to capture ur biometrics by imputing ur email
