Wiseandtrue: Nice write up!
If one can adhere to it! It's still not balance without help from Christ!
I personally was very strict with my diet but I just observe that the more I try the more I can't seem to control it and it was beginning to tell on my weight.
Then I decided to carry Jesus along
You mean you carried Jesus on your head?
Why are Africans like this? You need Jesus for your feeding habits? Why did God give you brain?
Voila everything fell into place!
It's the truth no matter how it sounds to you.

Saffi: In reality most guys do not care about this and never will. Dating an ambitious woman is too much competition for the average naija man. They’ll rather date a fine face who will cook and clean and take care of the kids, so they can dominate as the man properly. Sorry but this is the truth, and it’s better you accept it. It's not true and I won't accept it. Personally, I don't go beyond sex with a girl that has no ambition. My current girl is not only gorgeous but very hardworking. I am not only motivated by her hard work, it gives me joy to see her take care of her needs and when I want to spend on her, I know she truly deserves it. Only weak men need money to emasculate their women. |
Romance › Re: A Candid Advice For The Young Unmarried Ladies by Fuhrerfran6(m): 1:41am On Dec 17, 2018 |
This trash about ladies and marriage is becoming too much.
Guys need to wake up and raise the bar when it comes to marriage. The OP is making girls feel special like they all got something to offer.
Most of the ladies hanging around today looking for husband are not marriagble. All they got going is fine face and big buts, no plans, no job, no ambition and they all pray to get marriage to a rich, hardworking guy to elevate them from poverty.
Guys should wise up! Don't date any bimboo with no ambition. Raise your standards, and if a girl comes up with marriage, ask her questions that will shock her bone marrow.
Never settle for less as a guy. If a your babe is not ready to help her life, dump her and move to the next one because women are the most selfish Humans on earth.
The OP is making girls feel like sex is the key because actually sex is the only thing an average Nigerian girl has to offer in a relationship.
This advice is not only baseless but putrid and shows how thoughtless the OP can be.
Not everyone who can afford a phone actually deserves it. |

ThaThinka: Bro, the truth is I have ethical reservations about claiming to live where I don't or be who I am not. I must say this reality is what has kept me from flying another country's flag despite the rather low rates.
In the thick of the recession years back, I saw guys on here making so much money on Fiverr writing. I later learnt they were claiming another country, using foreign IP addresses, and/or white female pictures. I had to back out when I learnt that.
Not saying I'm holy or anything, but my conscience no go forgive me. The thing can be quite vindictive.
Yes, I am not making anything near what you make yet. But what I earn takes care of my bills, pending when I can find something better. I am not yet 'responsible' (even though I ought to have been already), so I don't have too many liabilities yet. I assume you know what that means. God's been good all the same.
As for becoming Top-Rated, I don't think it should be hard for you since you seem to have learnt the ropes.
I will advise that you only take on jobs you're perfectly confident of handling. It is important to ask questions on things that you don't fully understand or might become an issue later on. Don't promise so much; it's better to promise a little and over-deliver. This way, you stand better chance of getting more clients to 'cooperate' - yes, not all will. Yea bro...The truth is that I tried using my true location for months without landing anything tangible. I used to have such reservations but since I can provide the services, location shouldn't be a barrier. I'll keep your words on how to get the top rated badge. Thanks a lot mate... |
Business › Re: How Old Were You When You Made Your First Million?, And How? by Fuhrerfran6(m): 5:35pm On Nov 23, 2018 |
ThaThinka: Yes, that obviously contributes to your earnings. But I tell you, it will still be difficult to make so much money, if not impossible, if you reveal your Nigerian identity.
How did I know? I have been a Top-Rated since that feature was introduced - I have never dropped out for once. This may be because I don't bid on all jobs, only on what I am comfortable handling.
The discrimination is real. I'm even thinking of quitting writing or reducing involvement in it. I have observed some of the folks I have as clients are middlemen who probably get job because they're native speakers. Top rated? Bro you cool. I tried reaching that Milestone but always have that client that would rate me low so in gave up. I use a real identity. My real identity but just that I fly American flag right from Nigeria here. I have suffered lots of racist remarks because I reveal to most clients my true identity but I enjoy the peak of accessing US only jobs. There is a way to go around the location but upwork recently blocked it. |

nkhay: Kindly share how you learnt that. Many freelance writers struggle with this problem. First...I'll say I watch lots of American movies. Before I took up freelancing, I was so much into movies and books. I naturally picked up common American phrases. When I started off with up work...my first few contracts where all bad as I wrote with the regular Nigerian English style..using lots of inappropriate.. Or rather words that couldn't fit into the American sentence. I knew i had to develop my skills so I watched lots of YouTube videos to learn more about the American style of English. I also make use of writing software to help me get ride of filler words. Finally...I read lots of blogs and articles written for the American audience... Joined reddit and Quora to learn more about their writing styles. Now I can fairly write like an American... Am not that perfect but am improving with every article I write. Tip: I use common American phrases when chatting with my clients...this way they believe I am native English raised in the states. |
Business › Re: How Old Were You When You Made Your First Million?, And How? by Fuhrerfran6(m): 2:34pm On Nov 22, 2018 |
ThaThinka: I see. That explains it.
The annoying thing is that people who prefer freelancers from native English-speaking countries end up getting content prepared either directly or indirectly by non-natives. Yet, they don't complain about quality.
But the story might have been different if they knew they're dealing with a non-native. Yea you are right... But I'll add that I have learnt to write like a native American... The average Nigerian English is basic and you cannot succeed on up work with that level of English....so the reason why most of my clients are satisfied with my output is that I have learnt to speak and write the way they do. .. |

ThaThinka: Bless you. I thought in this direction as well.
The truth is that we all have set time to shine, if God so wishes. The best we can do is continue to put in the effort and leave the rest to the Creator.
That's interesting. Five million in a year? Wow.
But please if I may ask, did you indicate Nigeria as your country? What is the nature of content you write? Nope....I started off with a Nigerian account but no way...switched to the states....I write articles and has been lucky to land well paying contracts. |
