These words don't all fall into a singular spectrum,
and this is where I think a lot of your confusion
stems from.

The only negative word to describe a woman
negatively (in this regard) is ugly. Even plain has
some redeeming qualities. Everyone has redeeming
qualities. Somewhere.
But cute and pretty are a good baseline. Girl's
outfits can be cute and their makeup and hair can
be pretty. A girl herself can be cute, or she can be
pretty. Neither of them elicit a primal response.
If a girl is considered hot, it's because several
attributes come together in a nice package,
whether it's symmetry, bone structure, good skin,
eyes, smile, lips, hair, level of fitness, wearing an
outfit that perfectly flatters (if not provides too
much information for the male mind to bear), etc.
Hot it the primal explanation for a man looking at a
woman and thinking, if not saying, "I want to be
inside that." Sure, that will sound sexist. And it is,
because it's biologically wired that way. We're all
wired to seek out mates with the best genes. Girls
have a similar reaction to their 'type'.
Sexy is strictly attitude-related. You can give a
girl a little black dress and a push-up bra, but
without the confidence to flaunt it, she won't be
sexy. Being sexy is a state of mind. Sexy is
confidence. Confidence is understated. Subtlety
works best.


Beautiful is reserved for that weird but magical
combination of all of the above: a girl's ability to
be cute, pretty, sexy, hot... and be an amazing
human being on top of that. Beautiful is the
culmination of all else, and beautiful is the girl we
all want to keep around. Beautiful sneaks up on
guys, takes them by surprise, and makes them
want to be better men.




so my conclusion is this it takes a beautiful gal one minute to be hot but years for hot gal to be beautiful.. guys we know beautiful gals makes the home while the hot gal makes and wet our bed...chose wisely.

It also mentions high social standing.

Now these is where I differ on most Nairaland females. Before you call yourself a lady or someone calls you that. Do a quick check. Ask yourself. Am I worth this kind of respect? Cuz to me most of 'em females around here can be plain b*tchy. Now that's the opposite of the word "Lady".

So guys...Biko! Stop abusing that word. it means a lot.
