Thank you for this information affoncad

This provides more context to the question you're asking @Fulani14 Fulani14

I didn’t realize you already had the mindset to change schools even before arriving in Canada.

People like you are part of the reason IRCC keeps making things more difficult for other Nigerians coming after you.

You claim you’ll transfer to a higher college or university (knowing finances will be an issue), only to get the visa and switch to a no-name college.

Working while not being in school
Working for that long on a student Visa 🤦🏾‍♂️
Not informing IRCC of all the updates the time it was happening 🤦🏾‍♂️

This behavior forces IRCC to tighten rules to address people gaming the system.

You’ll likely spend more money trying to get yourself out of this mess, with no guarantee of a positive outcome.

To anyone who thinks they can game the IRCC system:

I’ve gone through the process from student > PGWP > PR > citizen, and I can tell you—you can’t game the system here.

It will catch up with you eventually.
I will reserve all my comments either way. Thank you...

What city are you in?

Use your laptop to go over the list

Or use your phone on landscape mode to see the list well

and Google the listed companies
Currently in Nova Scotia maybe that's why none were listed?

If you are in New Brunswick, I can assist you with the contact of a consultant in Woodstock.

I think finding a consultant in your area shouldn't be a problem. There are websites you can get such info for consultant in every province.
I am in Nova Scotia

I know a lot has changed since I was in the study visa category stage, and I can't say I'm up-to-date on the new rules regarding study permits and student visa cases.

Firstly, it would be advisable to speak to a representative at your school's international student center. Most schools typically have representatives who are well-versed in the current, ever-changing immigration system.

They would likely have an advisor who can provide you with a brief breakdown of what you need to do or what options are available in your case.

That said, it is essential to consult a licensed immigration consultant, as I mentioned earlier. They will be in the best position to guide you through the process.

A lot has changed, and I can't provide the best advice at this time. However, I know that being out of school for an extended period could raise concerns when applying for a post-graduate work permit after graduation.

I strongly recommend consulting a licensed immigration consultant, not relying on unverified Facebook visa agents. Use the link I sent to find a licensed professional.
I consulted with my school already but because they are a small college and they haven't been of any help. I also tried the link you sent I wasn't able to view the public register....I was thinking there would be a list of the consultant

You can share your issue here, and we will try to help. However, if you cannot, you must contact a licensed immigration consultant, not any *Facebook visa agent*

Here’s where you can find one in your city, county, or anywhere in the world, including Canada.

Thank you so much for your response.
Ps: pls before you start telling me what I did wrong and judging me, take a walk in my shoes first. I am looking for a solution not judgement. Thank you.
The issue is that I came to Canada last year on a study visa of 3year. While I was doing the processing naira to cad rate was stable, and I could afford my tuition. After my application, naija happened and everything scattered. I was left with either travelling here when I did or staying back in Nigeria. I decided to come here...I was admitted to a university which was crazy expensive. To cut long story short. I had to voluntarily withdrawn last year. About a month into my program and I was working.. put money together and I moved to the Atlantic region and was able to resume school this yr Sept. I know the rules and yes I have been out of school for a year. My current program is in demand in my province. I just want to know what's the way forward now that am back in school. My program now is a 1yr program and I will be done by spring next yr.
I also want to know if there is a page on here where i can get any advise ....pls help

Hi everyone, I know most of this forums were created for a DIY purpose which it has helped me with in the past with my study permit application, but is there any immigration consultant or lawyer her in Canada that is reliable that one can have access to. I have issues with IRCC and I am about to graduate and need help. And yes before u say it I know they are not reliable. Thank you.

Not really sir,i think my point was missed.
I intend to get to get to canada before i withdraw from U of Manitoba. U of Manitoba is sayingi must not take pass 15percent courseload unless i must pay for the semester which i want to avoid.
I saw on IRCC website that i can only take the 150days if its an authorised leave. Does that mean i can only take the 150 day only if Manitoba authorise it or can i just withdraw and move to another province and resume school in January?
Bobomaigida:
Hi, I believe you have been answered.

I was reading IRCC website and i just want to ask if theres any penalty i should be aware of like do i need permission from U of Manitoba for authorised leave, and will it affect my study permit cause my uncle is worried it would?pls help my flight is in a few days.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Fulani14: 11:14am On Aug 12, 2023
Thank you i will look into it,
I am actually looking for colleges that doesn not require tuition payments on first day of resumption.
U of Manitoba is not cheap but it depends on ur pocket, theres no deposit.Almost 8k Cad
quote author=tenderjunkie post=125056429]
Only cheap colleges in Canada I know of are NBCC, NSCC, and Holland college.
But I don't think those are currently admitting international students. I thought university of Manitoba was quite cheap. How much is your entire first semester tuition (deposit included) in CAD?[/quote]
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Fulani14: 10:59am On Aug 12, 2023
Thank you so much
My tuition for first semester is close to 6M, the tuition deposit for college is there too,i am trying to avoid paying the first semester fees.
Also please is there any college that doesnt require high tuition deposit and does not insis2we pay the rest of the tuition on the day of resumption?,please help me.
zubizareta:
You have to enter Canada first. Register and enroll as a student with university of Manitoba. Ofcourse that means you must pay their first semester tuition atleast. Then after your first semester you change dli.
Meanwhile, make sure you have secured another admission and hold your new LOA. Once your first semester at university of Manitoba is done, you go to ircc website and change dli.
Don't try to change before you enter Canada. You will have your visa canceled
