imag5: The jumia we see today it was someone's idea, job seekers the truth is there is no job let's try and create something no matter how small starting maybe tough but you will smile with persistent. I totally agree with you, it'd be great if more had your vision. What Nigeria lacks are growing small businesses who in the end will employ others. I fully intend to start my own business as soon as I am done with my training. |

eightsin: I do know about the first post. I still think no wife would file for a divorce just cause of a mere message she saw. There ain't no evidence to back up his story yet so I still have its all a lie I would also file for divorce. It's not a "mere" message. This man clearly doesn't want to be married to me. Within 2 months of our marriage he's waiting for me to leave so he can be with his "baby". He's also unapologetic and doesn't see anything wrong in it. Why would I stay? So I can live through a life of being cheated on and emotional abuse? What if I have kids? Is this the type of environment I want them to grow up in? |

zendy: What I believe is that is that if you wrong a person knowingly, that person can pray to their God (Christian,Muslim or traditional) to wrong you back and sometimes,it does happen. I don't believe that anyone can place a curse on another just by themselves or without due cause. I sort of agree with you. I don't think bad prayers against a person works but God punishes people that do wrong. I think to believe in another power apart from God kind of weakens your faith |

MARKone: Curses and bewitching is real.
There is this Friend that I know, though quite older, who was dating a particular lady, after series of failed promises of 'I will marry u' coupled with numerous abortions this lady had for the guy, dude later on married another lady. Then the curse. The ditched lady told the man, that for what he did to her, that he will never hear the cry of a child in his house. Karma? 30+ years of marriage, no issue, but the thing is, the wife takes in, but most times, the baby is still born. Unfortunately, it could not be reversed as the ditched lady passed on a long time ago I'm sorry but this made me laugh so hard. Did your friend and his wife see a doctor that gave them medical reasons as to why they can't have kids? |

Islie: I quite understand the point the writer is passing across here and agree to some extent with some of her points .......
But, I kinder ask myself..... What is the different things, attitude and responsibility did our mothers did to have make their marriages work during their own time and sustained it till today that our women of today are finding it difficult to do.
Is it that our mothers were quite obedient Is it that our mothers were understanding Is it that our mothers were patience enough Is it that our mothers were religious
Because the rate of ddivorce today is alarming No our mothers decided to suffer in silence. Kinda funny how you automatically make it the woman's fault. Why not our fathers? |

They get claustrophobic in organized societies with actual laws and regulations so they don't bother making the trip. Countries like Yemen, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are more likely the places you see them vacationing to. There are many of us in organised societies but we just aren't loud. Lol my dad was one of the guys suppose to do that audit. Instead they decided to do it in house. The people that are being audited are the ones choosing the auditors!! How does that make sense? They are going to find someone that will cover their tracks on a report that will probably never happen I said was ONE. mutter: Now is it only the rich that are allowed to have children. I don't think you're being fair to this young man. It's not only the rich that should have kids but they already have a lot of kids they can't look after. Why bring a child into the world when you are unable to take care of them? Why burden your child with the responsibility of a family he had no input in the decision of creating? They are making his life difficult, limiting his potentials as well as the other children. No 26 year old should have the burden of a 50 year old man. This should be the time where he gets on his own two feet and finds himself as a man not taking care of the responsibly of his parents |

SirShymex: Martin Lawrence is funny as fvck...that's the DC comic legend. Eddie Griffin is nuts. Tracy Morgan was into comedy before acting.
Err, you should at least know DL Hughley from The Hughleys. The show was on TV for a long time. When was the show aired? Eddie griffin will say ANYTHING |

EnlightenedSoul: He's just not funny. I could sit through an entire standup show of his w/o so much as a stray giggle. He does offer the rare bout of wisdom to his audiences tho. I kinda wanted to showcase that with a 'Rich Vs. Wealthy' segment of his, but I couldn't find it.
Now Dave Chapelle is funny! I'm also glad you mentioned the late Bernie Mac. I can't stand Kat Williams, but he's at least had his moments. I'm with you on Chris Rock and David Chapelle. Lol @ Katt Williams. With him it's either you like him or not |

I've seen all Eddie Murphy's comedy shows. Heck, I've got a DVD compilation of everything - that's my nyygah.
Do you know Tracy Morgan, Eddie Griffin, Paul Mooney, DL Hughley, and Tommy Davidson? Heck, even Bill Bellamy used to get it in back in the day. Yeah Martin Lawrence is some kind of guy. Of all those names I only know Eddie griffin. I know Tracy Morgan as an actor only |
Family › Re: What Men Want According To Comedian Chris Rock.. by fulanigirl(f): 4:49am On Jan 04, 2015 |
SirShymex: Well, you're entitled to your opinion. But personally, I don't think he's overrated. He might not be as funny as Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, Bernie Mac, and Chris Tucker (when he's on his A game) - but he's up there with them when it comes to originality/creativity.
Overrated should be attached to Kevin Hart and Steve Harvey. I don't find the both of them funny at all. Even the Cedric the Entertainer, and all the comics under Jamie Foxx, from the Foxxhole, are funnier than these folks.
Did you watch Dej Jam comedy when it was still on MTV back in the day? I was too young when it was on TV but I have marathons of it on YouTube. I have an obsession with stand up comedy, especially African American. Have you seen Eddie murphy's movie delirious? That's a memorable one |
Family › Re: What Men Want According To Comedian Chris Rock.. by fulanigirl(f): 4:39am On Jan 04, 2015 |
SirShymex: But was he bashing or just saying it how he feels?
That's classic Chris Rock, and he'll never bite his tongue for anyone. Hence he's a media darling, especially when it comes to political/social issues. And that's basically what all his comedy sketches are about, and why folks love him. Same for Dave Chappelle and late Bernie Mac. These folks don't know how to be politically correct.
They all came from Richard Pryor's school of thought. It's not that I hate Chris Rock because I love everybody hates Chris and I like him as an actor. I just think he's overrated |
Family › Re: What Men Want According To Comedian Chris Rock.. by fulanigirl(f): 4:30am On Jan 04, 2015 |
SirShymex: Lol, he won those awards when Dave Chappelle was in his prime. Bernie Mac was also alive. And Katt Williams was running with DipSet back then doing his thing. Heck, Chris Tucker was also still very active in the comic scene back. Not right now, when midget ar.se Kevin Hart is running the show.
Those are big names right there - especially the originality/creativity of both Dave Chappelle and Bernie Mac. Chris Rock was listed as one of the top five greatest comics in America, and top 10 in the UK. You just can't hate on that. Stop it. Lol I just have to hate. He needs to stop bashing women |
Family › Re: What Men Want According To Comedian Chris Rock.. by fulanigirl(f): 4:20am On Jan 04, 2015 |
SirShymex: Lol, you mean the same guy who has won a few Emmy Awards, with tons of nominations, and has been listed one of the greatest comics ever, isn't funny? - bwahahahahaha. We're not talking about Kevin hart and Steve Harvey here - this is Brooklyn's own Chris Muthaphucking Rock, who used to have buck-teeth. The same guy who sells out arenas all the time. Heck, his last show in the UK sold out within a few hours.
Stop hating. Dave Chappelle is my guy, but Chris Rock is funny as fvck. Take time out to read more, and listen to him afterwards. I think his jokes are like Nas' lyrics...if you're not that knowledgeable you wouldn't be able to relate. Do you think he would win those awards if he had good competition. If the batch is bad, you will pick the better of the bad. He wouldn't stand a chance against Chapelle, Bernie Mac and Katy Williams |
Family › Re: What Men Want According To Comedian Chris Rock.. by fulanigirl(f): 4:07am On Jan 04, 2015 |
EnlightenedSoul: To put it differently, Chris Rock managed to bash men in a way that would've made the most jaded of feminazis - Angela Dork-in - proud, and yet some men actually applaud and cheer him on. I can't.
Chris Rock is a passably-funny nut, but then again I attribute much of his comedy success to his high-pitched voice, and funny-looking face. He's not nearly funny enough to listen to (the true test of comedy), and he's def nowhere in the neighborhood of Dave Chapelle's comedic genius (Tbh I feel a little dirty mentioning them in the same sentence - what blasphemy!). If you ever get a 'chance' to go to one of CR's shows, don't. Save yourself the gas! Better yet, use it as an opportunity to commit your one good deed of the day/month/year/decade by presenting the intended ticket money to a nearby charity, or homeless person instead.
In my not-quite-so-humble, but ever-accurate opinion
E-Soul I've always thought he was so overrated and makes money off disrespecting women. And about his list of what mean want, David Chapelle said that first, not even original. He's just a cheap, unfunny version of David Chapelle |

DaBullIT: If your an educated fulani girl , then you know I'm right , maybe the choice of words aren't perfect , but the meaning of the sentence is true , and I'm not saying categorically that Islam permits , clerics and followers that I know of understand the need to escape reality , and though countries of the world try as much as possible to fight the use of drugs , most of these wars can't be won I'm aware of the drug abuse and from what I understand people use it as a way to escape from life. Unless social and economic issues are tackled, drug abuse will continue to be a major issue |

DaBullIT: Islam understands the need to blow off some steam , get high and live fantasy , hence why shisha , weed and any other natural stimulants are considered gift from Allah and I'm pretty sure Muhammed took some too during his time
Anyways , I heard about another one from Arbokis yesterday , they said its refnol or something , makes their tongue purple , stronger than coedine , Arbokis / muslims especially rich/hardcore muslima indeed do most drugs , weed, coke,hero,solution/rubber gum , snukudoie. E.t.c Where are you getting your facts from? Islam does not allow any form of intoxication, that means shisha, drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. Shisha is a cultural rather than religious thing |

He went broke because the government had him paying alot in child support. He Literally had to beg before they reduced it and even then, the amount is still very high. Beyonce is just a heartless b1tch. The same way she's torturing her dad is the same way she's torturing her half brother. By destroying their family he did do something wrong to her. He continually humiliates the mother and then as every few years a woman cones up with his baby. As for her little brother, his mother is his parent not Beyoncé. Why would you have a child you can't take care of , especially with a married man? She needs to stop parading magazines and talk shows and get herself a JOB!!! Did she think having a baby with Mathew solve all her financial woes? The only person I pity here is that little boy. Born to a man that would sleep with anything and a mother with no morals. She failed him by not doing what she is supposed to as a mother and take care of him, she'd rather rely on child support |

XketchDesigns: American is a stupeed country! I mean, why make a move about assassinating the president of another country? Using his real name and the real name of the country? I mean on his own soil? Is there any greater insult than this?
Imagine, a movie made about killing obama and ridiculing him to the whole world!? Why is is when they make movies about American presidents they never use their real names? And at the end of the day, the president always is some sort of a hero, kills the bad guys and never dies even with all the odds stacked against him!
I can name 20 movies at d top of my head about American presidents attached but the manage to kill the bad guys and lived!
And for the fact that obama was behind Sony is just disgusting. Hypocracy at its highest. The are bullies and nothin more! What about free speech? I completely support Obama in this. North Korea should not be able to regulate the movie industry of another country, that is bullying!! If I wanted to make a comedy insulting Obama, I should be able to because that is what freedom is about. It's not about someone's feelings, as a public figure, people will make fun of you. So get over it!! That movie would've flopped based on the bad script and acting but because Kim threw a tantrum like a child people are going to go watch it making it a success!! |
