everyone has their lifestyles which they live even though they practice any other religion they choose to practice. Americans are predominantly xtians if i may say, and yet there are many xtian countries in which ppl take drugs...but i will nver muster the thoughts that xtianity or jesus promoted taking of drugs or any other harmful substances, not just because i respect him but also because no prophet of God will encourage such. Also, the fact that smething is done in saudi arabia doesnt mk d norm applicable to all other muslims. For e.g arabs by dere nature do not tolerate foreigners and are racists would u say because of that muslims in nigeria or other parts of the world are racists? Where are you getting your facts from? Islam does not allow any form of intoxication, that means shisha, drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. Shisha is a cultural rather than religious thing

Islam forbids all form of intoxicants, and anything that causes people to be excited or confused and less able to control what they say or do. I hope that answers your question?
