Career / Re: Sleep With Me Or I Fire You - My Female Boss. by Fulba(m): 4:55am On Nov 21, 2015
collinspro:
I am messed up right now and I need your advice. I work in a company where I report directly to a lady. My woe started when I went to her office one day to pick up a file. As I entered her office, my phone rang so I decided to take the call. The call was a bit long so she decided to get the file for me from one of the file cabinets. As she bent for the bottom drawer her skirt tore terribly exposing her panties. The phone almost dropped from my hand. I tried to hurry out of the office but she called me back to help her go across the street to stitch it. I was almost frozen. Ever since then she has been disturbing me to sleep with her.

She said she gave me the job because she love me. I just got married and don't want to cheat. Yesterday, she called me and and dropped the bombshell " if you don't sleep with me I will fire you". What do I do? I don't want to lose that job. I am considering reporting her to my general manager but I am afraid of the consequence.

Lie Lie Lie. I see no true in this. I guess you just seeking attention. And you re sure getting the attention that you deserve.

I live in America but i must confess, there's no place like Nigeria.
If i can get a job that pays like the one i have in America, I will be in Nigeria the next day.

Nigeria is the best country on earth.
People who lives in Nigeria may not understand this till you move to that country you think is the best.

If you think Nigeria is the best country on earth, then why couldn't you find a job in Nigeria that can pay you as the one you have in USA? All truth be told; Nigeria is nothing close to the best country on earth, it's in fact among the worst places on earth. I leave in Chicago and visit Nigeria twice every year so I know what I'm talking about. You that is blessed to be in the USA should be glad you have that opportunity. Nigeria is a mess; that's the fact. We should not lie to our selves because reality is no longer black and white, reality is now coloured.

Please don't take this the wrong way. Note that this is not an insult, because I respect your opinion very well.

There is an Igbo gospel song that haunted my childhood (we had a relative who was a Catholic charismatic "living with us and tormenting me with this song when my parents would be away angry)

The song has something like, "aguu agaghi agum oo, n'enuigweeee...etc"
Meaning " I would never be hungry in paradise"

To me it meant no food...
I was haunted by the fact that I would just float in heaven, singing hymns, in white apparel! embarassed Earthly living felt like a better bargain cheesy..I mean, no ice cream, no chocolate, no rice, no plantain, nothing! Who does that cry

Well I sincerely hope that is not a true picture!!! cool...or I would haaate! Lol

I still hate that song...it is outdated now though...so it is not a song one would hear all the time thankfully lipsrsealed

You seriously should consider writing as a career. Your piece is short but the best I've ever seen on Nairaland. Jeez, you are an amazing writer.

Women are dangerous. I read all the comments made by women on this topic and I couldn't believe how all of them thinks akin to one another. May God help me to have a woman that believes in better or worse.
The lady's action is absolutely questionable.

You have never been there so you will not understand how horrible it feels to be the man in such situation. The feeling is almost like being oppressed everyday of your life. Any small thing that happens between people in such union, the lady start beating the hell out of the man. I've been there, so I know how it feels and kills the man slowly. In a nutshell, it completely demoralize and put the man in an abused state of being constantly assaulted and oppressed.

It's so sad how 60% of you guys here are just insulting this innocent girl that did you guys nothing wrong. This is cyber bullying; you guys obviously don't understand the extent of damage you are causing to this very sexy looking lady.

Tell me, is this girl ( Sharon) as fat as Mercy Johnson?..... Plus, can you try to imagine what will happen to your self esteem if you are insulated like this? This girl is extremely beautiful and I can jump on the train-line for her just to be my friend. Instead of you guys to appreciating her roles in being part of your childhood memories, you guys are here being jealous and jobless. Very uncomfortable how some people think they look good, but in reality? They look like crap and try to bring everyone they perceive to be very beautiful down.
The beautiful once have been born already; this pretty angel is a proof.

Omote; you too fresh abeg.

The APC Presidential Candidate- General Muhamadu Buhari is holding an interactive session with Nigeria women at Victor Island Lagos today 19/03/2015.

The General will use this opportunity to outline his vision for the role of women and how Nigerian women can be empowered to achieve their full potentials.

Pictures of the events below

Guys, just out of curiosity. Why does Mohammad Buhari have "General" in front of his name if he's not coming as a military leader anymore? I was thinking that word "General" was military derived during his time in the military, isn't it?

Politics / Re: Don’t Shift Elections Again, UN Tells Nigerian Government by Fulba(m): 4:13pm On Feb 21, 2015
Charlesdonald:
The United Nations has urged the Nigerian government to ensure the sanctity of new dates for its general elections, amid increasing concerns the government may yet again move the crucial polls from March 28 and April 11.
The general elections were shifted from February 14 and 28 by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over security fears.

Many Nigerians and the international community have urged the government to ensure the polls are not shifted the second time. The main opposition, All Progressives Congress, APC, says the government instigated the first shift to avoid the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan at the polls.

In a statement Friday, the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, “strongly” urged the Nigerian government and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to respect the new dates and ensure there are no further shifts.
“Following the postponement of general elections in Nigeria to 28 March and 11 April, the Secretary-General strongly urges the Government and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure these new dates are maintained, in accordance with the provisions of the Nigerian Constitution,” a statement by the world body said.
Mr. Ban’s statement came days after the head of INEC, Attahiru Jega, told Nigerian Senators he could not commit to the sanctity of the new dates for the elections, saying that was outside the powers of the electoral body.
Speaking Thursday, President Goodluck Jonathan said the elections will hold as scheduled by INEC.

The United Nations Secretary General, Mr. Ban, welcomed the president’s commitment to the new calendar.
He commended the progress made by INEC in the preparation for the elections, including the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards.

He urged all relevant national institutions to continue to work with INEC to ensure all voters can exercise their constitutional right to participate in the elections freely and without intimidation.

The Secretary-General expressed strong concern over reports of election-related violence.
He urged all political leaders to adhere to their commitments under the Abuja Accord, to refrain from inflammatory statements and to immediately condemn any statements from their supporters that amount to an incitement to violence or subversion of the electoral process.
The Secretary-General reiterated to Nigerians that the United Nations will be closely following developments and is offering its full support to Nigeria at this important moment.

Jonathan if you have really rule your people well for the passed six years you will not be scared to go head to head with any politician on the pole. You are only scared of losing because you know clearly that you didn't deliver a bit of all your promises.
Sai Buhari deserves our vote and should be given a chance.
