It's just a pity that this issue of boko haram will be used by political parties for their campaigns in 2023 while the citizens continue to be at the receiving end. Thousands of security personnel could be deployed for an election whereas terrorists can't get the same treatment. Perhaps political offices are more important than human lives. |
Just look at how nass members of other political parties are not saying anything about this. They agree only on things that are beneficial to them and disagree on issues that put them in a good light with the citizens just to score cheap political points. |
At least, things like this are a general thing. Everybody (both critics and supports) is experiencing this except our political leaders; past or present. So, who is losing? It's just funny how we try to absorb people who don't share in our pains from their incompetency. |
Buhari government can shame sponsors of ibop and igboho but can't do the same for boko haram's sponsors. |
BeardedMeat:Perhaps you should go over what I wrote again, because I don't know where I advocated for the continuous ruling of APC. Maybe you will understand my position better, if after voting PDP, you see core APC members defecting to PDP in droves. |
The sentiment we attach to politics is the reason this country will never witness any progress. As much as APC has proven to be an anti-people party, isn't it too early to forget the unfortunate years of the PDP misrule? To think that some people are considering PDP as an option in 2023 is worrisome. The earlier we realize that these guys are just playing us like cards, the better for us. Prior 2011 election, the narrative was that PDP was an evil party that needed to be changed. And now with the current APC government, our problems keep getting worse. Unless we stop our fruitless loyalty with these people in politics, we will keep changing government, and at the end of the day, average Nigerians will continue to be at the receiving end of their misrule. The point we are now, I don't expect any reasonable Nigerian youth to be taking sides with any of these two political parties. |
We are happy with you sir. We all know you were appointed to steal, just make sure to steal enough money for your family. Awon were gbogbo |
Lamba lamba lamba lamba |
The security architecture of this country was designed only to take care of the upper class and not to secure the lives of the average Nigerians. This is why the brutal killings in some parts of the country would never stop. Nigeria is okay in the eyes of our politicians as long as they are not affected. And anytime the citizens try to revolt against them, they always find a way to connect it to politics. A President has failed to protect the lives of the people he leads, with thousands of people dead already, yet the useless rubber-stamp national assembly hasn't seen the need to impeach him. |
It's shameful the only thing this government does is react with uninspiring words without taking needed action. The presidency needs to think if their countless reactions to similar incidents in the past have yielded any good thing. |
Signs of a failed country. Someone swore to protect the lives of every Nigerian. While this is not practicable, isn't it also criminal and unlawful for someone who has failed to keep this promise to continue to parade himself as the President of the country. |
Bokos will be smiling |
Buhari has bastardized this country to the point that anyone who tries to support this government will be seen as a liar..... No truth can come out of Mr liar |
