The vice is just an appendage. You expect the leader of a country to be home when there are certain issues/crisis. France was attacked by terrorists - Hollande never left France that week. During the London riots, David Cameron had to cut short his holiday, just to address the people.

But there have been terrorist attacks in Nigeria in the past week all over international media. Then you also had the incident where over 100 Nigerian soldiers were annihilated with chemical weapons by BH. Yet this old man keeps traveling everywhere like a tourist. All those useless foreign trips won't benefit Nigeria in anyway. And Nigeria is just a small fry in the committee of nations - no one cares about Nigeria.

I supported APC during the election cos I knew Buhari would win a year before the election cos the external forces wanted regime change in Nigeria and GEJ's not their guy. Then GEJ was an utter failure and the dumbest/worst leader to ever rule a country. Ditto the fact that he was a sectional leader and you can't give a leader as useless as that a 2nd term with nothing to lose, unless you want utter destruction. Coupled with Yoruba interests due to the APC structure being firmly in their pre-election and the fact that I thought they would hold their own in realpolitik and, get certain things/concessions from the centre.

However, Buhari is starting to look more like GEJ 2.0. Like seriously, what type of leader goes on a jamboree of foreign trips when his country is burning? Yorubas lost out in the power-play and realpolitik. And it's back to the GEJ era albeit it moved from SE/SS to North. Nigeria is basically just cursed with the worst set of leaders/politicians.
