Position Summary

 The Program Development Officer will lead, innovative project and rapid

programming activities. The primary function of this position will be to

identify, articulate and propose new areas of program.

 The PDO will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will serve as the

strategic guidance on articulation and implementation of programs and

ensure the company takes advantage of programming opportunities as

they arise.

 PDO will establish goals and targets with staff towards achieving program

and work plan objectives.

 The position will coordinate closely with partners to ensure adequate

operational support and oversee timely and compliant contract

management processes.

 PDO will coordinate with the Monitoring & Evaluation teams to ensure that

lessons learned are captured and incorporated program-wide.

 The position will be based in Abuja with extensive travel.

Reporting & Supervision:

 The Program Development Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer

and will provide technical leadership and oversight to the resource

personal / Facilitators, who will assist in activity development, activity

implementation oversight and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 Develop the overall program development strategy through contacts with

partners.

 Train and manage the focal persona and the Facilitators.

 Manage processes and maintain overall responsibility of proposal

submission and follow ups.

 Oversee the programmatic implementation and monitoring of each activity

in collaboration with partners.

 Respond to requests from the client as needed;

 Initiate and manage after-action reviews in collaboration with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Post NYSC with experience in public health

 Medical degree (MBBS) or degree in life sciences; Master’s degree will be

an added advantage 

 Prior experience with health organizations, particularly with field

experience.

 Strong analytical, organizational, and communications capacity; and

 Fluency in oral and written communication skills in English.

Lol.....Do you know that, Jonathan's campaign is only targeted at destroying Buhari and his family but Buhari's campaign does not aim at getting back at Jonathan but provides us with facts (how GEJ adminstration has failed Nigerians in terms of insecurity; unemployment; poor education and so on...). So, I think Gej's team should wake up from being childish and focus on the reality. This is Nigeria, our home! We ain't going anywhere!!!
