PoliticsNigerian Govt And Xenophobic Attacks On Nigerians In South Africa. by Funnystar(op):
The fact is our government are so insensitive to international and intra-business relationship with other countries. We gave South Africa government the conducive atmosphere and assistance to explore Nigeria as if Nigeria is a business virgin land for them - yes it is a business virgin land for them because our government has refused to tap and develop other natural resources 'cept for gas and oil sector because of greed for raw cash. SA was so quick to grab and penetrate our communication sector. Nigeria must also watch out for SA business investments in Nigeria such as Checkers, Shoprite, KFC e.t.c- they're gradually taking over our "stomach" and daly needs sectors. Los. South Africa law or system has made it practically impossible for Nigeria government to step their feet on their (SA) soil for any business investment. Dangote with his wealth empire tried to invest in SA but to no avail. The fact is Nigeria leaders should be held responsible for not properly looking beyond their nose for a more secured Nigeria business environment. Its high time our government and leaders went into real technological development in Nigeria rather than stashing stolen monies into international finance houses. President Jacob Zuma of SA was found guilty of financial irregularity of millions of dollars but to our surprise all the monies he stole he used same for Estate development in SA. Nigeria is bless but ...

In SA their indigenous companies dominate and are in full coverage of their Communication , Science and Technology , Mining , Agriculture and hospitality sectors e.t.c. With this ugly resurfacing of Xenophobic, it should call and awake our government to sit up to the country's developmental responsibilities. It may reduce migration out of Nigeria for no good reason
Let's not be blind in thinking that MTN is the only SA investment in Nigeria- even Nigeria Escravos Gas to Liquid is a franchise technology derived from a SA indigenous company - SASOL chemical company. Nigeria got brains- and for whom brain is given SENSE is expected.

Story for the gods
Sunnybobo3:
My attention has been drawn to the news circulating in the social media attributed to me captioned “ U.S. based Nigerian Calls for the Killings of the Igbos”. This story is categorically FALSE. It was generated by computer fabricators, manipulated and bandaged to create havoc.  Our investigations indicate that this horrible story was cooked, seasoned and delivered to get back at me for my sympathy for the Oba of Lagos during the recently concluded, highly contested Lagos State gubernatorial election. At the peak of the debate, there were heated exchanges and at the heat of the moment, statements were made from both sides that could be misconstrued. The subsequent distortion by these sophisticated fabricators is causing significant injustice to us all. To all the people affected by the original debate or subsequent computer distortions, I hereby apologize. No matter what, these stories are offensive and highly regrettable.

I condemn these computer fabricators in their entirety. I further condemn any killings or any acts of violence anywhere, be it South Africa or Lagos. Humanity will judge these people harshly.  I work every day to save people’s lives from heart attacks. I am writing this letter with only 3 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours due to the nature of my work and the barrage of death threats on me and my family.  I am Yoruba, but I have worked closely with Igbos all my life without any problem.  It came as a shock to me and my Igbo colleagues, that I was being labeled as an Igbo hater.  Indeed, I appreciate the confidence and support that I have received from my friends and well wishers that know me from around the world.  I thank you for the support and your continued prayers in face of this unwarranted and relentless attack created by this false story.  My only true statement regarding the Oba of Lagos was taken out of context on completely unrelated issue and bandaged together to create this horrendous story.   To prove that I am no Igbo hater, but in fact, I am my brother’s keeper, I will take you through an improbable journey of a young Nigerian boy from a small town to the world’s pinnacle of academic medicine. I will highlight the practical examples of my close relationships with some of my Igbo colleagues all along the way.

At the Univeristy of Ibadan, the first Nigerian University, I received the best medical education that could be obtained under the sun.  My teachers were Yoruba, Igbos, Hausa, and Fulani. During our training, we were tribal free.  I am currently working with an old U.I colleague, who is a U.S. based Cardiologist, and an Igbo, Dr. Obi Emerole as we put together the First Lagos Cardiovascular Symposium this summer in Ikeja, Lagos.

At Howard University Hospital, where I trained as a medical resident and chief resident, my Igbo friends were Dr. John Agwunobi and Dr. Ahagtotu.  Dr. Agwunobi later became the secretary of health to Governor Jeb Bush in Florida, and, Dr. Ahaghotu is now the head of Urology and Associate Dean at the Institution.  We were all interns, bound together as Nigerians, without tribal affiliations.  We ate together, were on call together, and partied together on Saturday nights whenever we had time.

In 1995, I was a research fellow at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, where I was simultaneously enrolled for Master degree at the Harvard School of Public Health.  I reached out to all the Nigerians in the Boston area institutions and we had regular meetings as “one Nigeria.”  It was that year in Boston that I actually met Professor Wole Soyinka and the late Professor Chinua Achebe.

At the Johns Hopkins Hospital, regarded as the number one hospital in the United States, I was an Interventional Cardiology fellow.  My immediate senior colleague, Dr. Camellus Ezeagwu was Igbo.  I went to his house quite often for some “Fufu and goat meat” that his beautiful wife regularly prepared for us.

The best man at my wedding was an Igbo man.  Our families enjoy time together and vacation together.  I have served in various capacities under the umbrella of the Association of the Nigerian Physicians in The Americas (ANPA). I was humbled to be the keynote speaker at the recent end of the year event. I have also served in our communities and churches encouraging our youth to pursue a carrier in medicine.  I have served as head, chairman, director, and secretary in various capacities in different Nigerian organizations that included Yorubas and Igbos for the past 30 years, and not once has anyone said that I hate one group or the other. I currently serve as mentor for lots of young Nigerian doctors. I help them get into residency and fellowship around the country (Yorubas and Igbos alike). As we speak, I have several Yorubas and Igbos students rotating under my service at the hospital.

Nigeria is my country and I am proud of her. She gave me a lot and I intend to continue to give back. I will not let some people create a wedge between me and this country that I love. I believe my only sin was the support that I gave to the Oba of Lagos. As a son of a monarch myself, I have utmost respect for our native rulers. Thus, the position that I took during the debate leading to the highly spirited Lagos State gubernatorial election might have offended some people. For me, this is a lot of price to pay when I am not even a politician. It also shows how far people will go for payback. But, please, this is not a game for me. I have my plate full in USA. I would rather use this time to save lives and improve the health of people, or increase the chances of other Nigerian kids getting to where I am today rather than responding to false stories designed to get back at me for my different political position.  At the time that I am writing this missive, I have received over 500 telephone calls that are mostly death threats. Please let us calm down and work together for peace.

I hope my story clears some ambiguities regarding this unfortunate computer manipulated and generated story.  Although, it hurts a lot, I will forgive them (the fabricators). We want every Nigerian to live in peace and harmony. We seek a more tolerant Nigeria, a vibrant Nigeria where there is freedom and liberty, where no one is inferior or superior to the other. We need to band together and start building our nation towards prosperity and a brighter future as we move forward to a more perfect Nigeria.  God bless Nigeria.  God bless us all.

Ugly pictures coming out from South Africa has clearly shown that South Africans are not ready to end this madness. It is disheartening that the government the country have not stood up firm to end this madness.

Let me sound it clear to them that we are not happy with the barbaric treatment meted out to our kits and kins in South Africa and therefore call upon the government of Jacob Zuma to rise up to the challenge to avoid reprisal attacks.

We know S A as an investors haven but the reverse is now the case.

Let those "Fools" not think we are not watching what they are doing to our people. They have their own people and Investments here too therefore we may as well start ours here.

Please stop this Madness Now MR ZUMA!!!!

So una wan carry style bring Africans together in your country to kill them?> It won't workoooo!!

Just 48 hours and this madness do not stop..... You will hear from US!

FKO1:
SAFA CEO, Dennis SAFA CEO, Dennis Mumble, says they want use football to unite the people by organising two high-profile friendlies against our neighbouring countries.

“We want to use the two high-profile international friendly matches as an instrument to unite this continent. What has been happening in the past few days have really left most people in a shock and dismayed,” Mumble said in a statement released by SAFA.

“We have decided to take this step (of playing two high-profile international friendly matches) as part of the fight against xenophobia. Madiba spoke of the power of sport in uniting people from different walks of life and we want to use the power of football to unite this continent and kick out this scourge within certain malcontents in our society."

Mumble feels that the recent violence has dented the image of the country.

“Most sporting personalities have had their say in denouncing these barbaric acts but we want to go a step further by playing friendly matches against neighbouring countries. We want to send out a message to those perpetrating these acts to sit back and realise what they are doing is wrong.

“We are one continent, one Africa, we are all Africans and we say no to xenophobia.”

Details for the two international friendlies will be by SAFA in the next few days.

How can Aboh and Ezinhitte Mbaise have 0ver 100,000 voters which 99,000 of them voted for Ihediohahuh

This is a daylight fraud...

vision2022:
But what suprises me is how the over 144,000 registered voters, not those with PVC,s will alter close to 80,000 votes the incumbent Gov. is already leading with. let me come down a bit, @ the end of the day you may be having upto 80,000 people that have their PVC,s, 50,000 people may be available for accreditation and above 40,000 may be voted and also will certainly record some void votes. how do you reconcile this?

PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Upholds Akpabio’s Election by Funnystar(m): 10:39am On Mar 27, 2015
idris93:
The Supreme Court on Friday confirmed Godswill Akpabio as the validly-elected governor of Akwa Ibom State, in a unanimous decision that brought to a close a four-year legal tussle to unseat him.

The court ruled that Mr. Akpabio was the suitable candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, a claim that had for years been challenged by Frank Okon, who also contested the party’s ticket in April 2011.

Mr. Okon had asked the court to nullify Mr. Akpabio’s election because he (Okon) and his supporters were not availed the information on the scheduled primaries after the cancellation of the previous exercise.

Mr. Okon’s argument was upheld at the level of the Court of Appeal.

But, in a unanimous judgment delivered Friday by Justice Bode-Rhodes Vivour, on behalf of Justice John Fabiyi, and six other Justices, the

Supreme Court set aside the ruling of the Appeal Court in favour of Mr. Okon and restored the judgment of the High Court on the matter.
The High Court had ruled that Mr. Okon was not qualified to contest the outcome of the election in the first place, having admitted in his affidavit before the court that he and his supporters were not allowed to participate in the primaries.

PoliticsState Of Obio-akpor International Market Road (SARS AREA) Rivers State by Funnystar(op): 5:32pm On Mar 26, 2015
This particular road has been in deplorable condition since the 2nd term of Governor Chibuike Amaechi's regime.

The people of this area has suffered untold hardships and it seems the government of the day are not interest yet they come to our various houses shamelessly to seek our votes.

Sometimes I begin to wonder if truly I live in Port-harcourt or ABA. The garden-city tag on the city has been washed off by dirty muds on the streets.

Don't be deceived by what you see on the major roads, go to the inner city roads, you will be forced to ask questions.

sampete:
Just last week, I was going through the phone of a colleague when I stumbled on some xxxx rated videos and pics of her humble self. Out of curiously I opened one of the videos and started watching...immediately I sent some of those videos into my phone, then I continued watching. I was so engrossed in her acts that I didn't notice when she came in, she caught me watching her nude videos. I expected her to be angry or something, she wasn't, she just collected her phone and that's all!

This is a girl that takes church so seriously, she has even been trying to get me attend her church...I was shocked, disturbed, in fact my orientation about her changed.

Since then she has been acting kinda weird, always coming over to my place unlike befor, just yesterday, she wanted to spend d night in my side...pastor pickin wey I be, I cum say no!

The koko is why do girls leave nude videos and pics in their phone for people to stumble upon? I once picked up a phone misplaced by a girl where I saw so many nude pics of dat nearly got me blind.

Another instance was when a coursemate of mine gave me a memory card dat has been routed by shortcut virus, after removing the virus, her files came back and as I was going through, I saw some nude videos and pics. I got so shaken dat day when I came across nude pics and videos of this girl and another of my coursemate, a girl too, they were both in the act of lesbianism! Chai! These my eyes don see!
