the process of joining became complex as teachers or should I say people, who are supposed to be role models are same people that throws caution to the wind and refuse to abide by simple regulations.

Some come back to the thread here and put up things abt certain individuals. things that these individuals consider private. there is a reason why it is or was discussed on the group. if the individual(s) wanted it opened up,,they would hav posted it here. so i can call that privacy violation(i might b wrong though).
The internet is a world , a different one to reality and most often has d power of making and breaking relationships/people's lives (be it intimate, friendship,marriage..etc)

let me pull d brakes here. its 2016.
I came back on this thread as i was told that things are back to normal.
if any wants to join the group let him/her do so with a free mind n openly .not changing names n hiding pics or using dual personality . be plain, be simple, be free.

if one doesnt want to join ,,its all well and good. no love lost.
there are people dt r no longer on the group but we still keep in touch once in a while..peeps like nitane,,engrcharles,, n a few others..

I bear no grudge against anyone .
The rules were put in place because certain people abuse the use of the whatsapp group.

I see that a lot of people are interested in the whatsapp group but the process of joining is too complex. it was due to ...well...those that are on the group knows what caused it. it wasnt like that before.
Anyway i want to officially lower the gates n revert on the process of joining to how it was long before all the e-wars n busttles.

I left ayobo by 9am and I reached okota by 10.10am. From wherever location at ayobo, pick a byke to olayemi from there head to lanre from lanre to governors road from there to ikotun from ikotun enter cele and stop at agor roundabout. Cross the road and trek to ansarudeen comprehensive school

please my fellow nairaland I need help from you as I don't want to regreat latter, last year match, I got a job in a small bar, where the sells drinks, pure water, drying chickens and the also use that place as a viewing center. have been working there close to a year, sacrificing all my time working whole heartedly to please my boss so that he won't see me as a bad boy, all this while am with him I had a plan that I want to start a small business of own even if to sell groundnut I will do it. but I won't work for him again as I don't have time for his work an I told him last week that I Will quit this job that my brother say I should go learn hand work.note: ( I told him I want to go and learn handwork) so that he will allowed me to quit, but learning handwork was not in my plan. but my boss request to see my brother so that the can negotiate which type of work I should learn that he will follo assists me at the same time I may help him anytime I have chancr , the concluded everything wit my brother that I will start the work this month end, please ladies and gentle men , I don't know what to do now, I don't really motivated on learning handwork, I was just using it as excuse to leave my boss, I lost interest to work for him but because of this, am still forcing my self to please him so that he won't say am stubborn, I don't no if I should just ignore everything the will say and quit and go do the business I want to do, if I do will I ever regreat , because if i do regreat on my own the will mock me but I trust in God. please make una help me, this is very serious cos am still bother, I even call my boss this morning that I won't come work today so that I may have time to think about this . please help!

Please does anyone knows anything about the school? Their pay and do they give accommodation?

There are teaching jobs EVERYWHERE but d fact is, very many of these schools can't offer u a pay that can take u home.

My question still remains ,why is amosun not doing anything to the rural areas like waterside,ipokia ...are they not part of ogun state,even matogun,ijoko are in a state of hogamoga....are abeokuta ,sagamu and otta the only places in ogun state?

I visited their site and discovered that they were in need of hostel master. when I took my cv there, I chattered a taxi because I knew the security guys would not allow me in. On getting there, I told them I wanted to see the HR (I researched her name on the net). They asked for the reason and I told them it was official. They further asked if she was expecting me and I replied she would be glad to see me. I entered and met with the secretary. That one insisted that she must know why I wanted to see the HR. I opened up and gave her my cv after which I pleaded with her to deliver it.

Unfortunately, I can't make it to the interview because I have other things worthwhile doing. I want to advice us that we should be creative in our job search. Think beyond applying online and dropping your cv at the gate.

By d special grace of d almighty,I am a mechanical engineering graduate n v also finished my youth service. I stay in river state and currently working in a private school Buh about quitting in d next few wks(pls don't advice me not to cos you might not really understand what I v passed through)..

I have worked in not less than 5 schools n v come to conclude with d following;
1. Private schools are just forums for 'use and dump' of graduates from average families n ain't gat connection.
2. School work can be tedious especially when Ur boss is a lady or a woman. She never sees anything good in you as a young man.
3. They will always expect you to work with Ur last strenght Buh at d end of d month,to pay is a very big problem. For example,where am working now will never pay you till you go n beg for Ur salaries for many days into d new month,except that you will receive Ur salary at middle of d new month,in some cases,they owe 2-3 months(just like they owed us from July to September 2015)
4. Private schools can never afford to loose you inasmuch they also wouldn't treat yu like a human from a family just like them.




After some thrashy situations I v gone through in life in the name of struggling for survival,I v made up my mind to quit my present workplace(no going back).
I v tried everything to endure Buh things keep getting worse. Mind you,I v worked there now for almost 14months now..
Am not here to seek for an advice Buh to announce it publicly that I need a new job(I can still consider a school job only if I can v a rest of mind doing the work)

I responded to this job advert and it is imperative that I share the success story. I went to this school from Iwo in Osun for interview on the said date. I actually left my base around 5am and arrived @ the school @ about 9am. I applied for the post of a Chemistry Teacher and I was tested on the stated subject followed by a five man panel interview. In a nutshell, I was called this morning to resume for the job. Additionally, accommodation will be provided for me. I requested for it before I actually went for the interview. Thanks to the GoldenDr and others who have contributed immensely to this noble thread, you are all appreciated.

I never knew there were private schools that could pay a corps member 40,000 naira, all the while, I dreaded being posted to a school not knowing I was blocking my luck. All thanks to my LGI. I am so happy. Despite them saying there was no longer vacancies, my LGI fixed me there.
