bootlegaz: Statisticians are in high demand in states. You need those aforementioned programs to be in big data business. Analytics make crazy money out here and the demand for them will increase to 34percent or more by 2020. If you can gain admission to states, and have enough money to finance your degree, you are set for life.
Tanks man, is pity Nigeria does not value statisticians will work towards that.

bootlegaz: Where(country) do you plan on pitching that course? Putting it to practice is what matters the most. Information technology is ambiguous, you have to choose area of specialty that aligns with your Major. If you love numbers then Analytics would be best bet for you. Hadoop, no sql, mysql and machine learning are all under information technology but used mostly by engineers.
Have a major in Statistics, definitely love numbers and also do u mean i dont need sql and mysql if am going for Analytics? Please ur advice will be appreciated.

bootlegaz: I don't know of Nigeria but been competent in Business Analysis with a concentration on Business intelligence in the United States, can get you close to earning $200k as a consultant. Business intelligence is the fastest growing career in the United states and Canada. You don't have to be certified, and all you need is training and some hands on experience. Get a training in Relationship Data Base management system, Oracle-SQL, and any BI tools (microstrategy, SAP, Cognos, sportify). Companies will hire you as a business system analyst and pay you huge some of money for helping them solve some analytical challenges. I don't know about such career path in Nigeria, I won't make any suggestions or what industry in that country requires or are looking for a BA
presently taken a course on informations management system hopes it helps later
