That road needs urgent intervention; I don't know why govt and the contractor RCC have been so slow in it's reconstruction. I remember talking with one of their staff around 2020 in Ijebu-itele. He boasted that road won't be finished in the next 20years. I don't know if he's talking for a fact or a real conspiracy. The minister of works should look into that road. Same with Ibadan-Ife/Ilesa express. By now that road should have been dualised up to Akure or Owo in order to link up the Okene/Lokoja/Abuja express. And these trailers are a menace on our roads.
